anyone could tell me how can I watch videos by youtube aplication in HQ? It can be better to watch on my diamond2 on 800x480 resolution
In Youtube> Settings> Choose High Quality Videoes.
... and notice the slowness of stream

I am using HTC Touch HD running Windows Mobile 6.1 and stock ROM. I have the latest Youtube player installed to watch youtube through my wi-fi connection. However I don't like the Youtube video quality as it is a bit pixelated even on my wifi and there is no way to change it to high quality from the Youtube player. I have latest version of Skyfire too but even there I dont like the Youtube quality. Compared to this my Ipod Touch 3G plays high quality youtube on my wifi.
Is there any application which allows me to watch streaming youtube videos in high quality just like on Ipod Touch. I have searched the internet over the last couple of days but couldn't find a suitable application.
I shall be highly thankful and obliged if someone can guide towards such application for playing streaming High Quality Youtube videos
Im running the MoonscapesX's ROM and I am having very laggy video playback in coreplayer and window media player. It a Htc Diamond CDMA and has the ati d3d driver. This is how the video playback is: Video plays for 1 second and stay at tha frame for 3 second then play a frame and stay at that frame for 3 seconds. Its a low resolution h264 .mp4 video. Please help

can anyone play movies from HBOGO on the tv at high quality ? when i play the movies its really blurry and the sound skips .
also i downloaded a couple of movies from the internet and they look pretty good on the phone but once i use the mhl cable they look blurry ,any idea what am i doing wrong ?

HBO Go use SW H.264 decoder & SW renderer.
Don't expect high quality video.
Netflix is the best for video quality ( it is hw accelerated. )

I have a strange problem.
Yesterday I recorded a video(in 720P mode) with HTC sensation, came home, and played it normally on my samsung 40LEC650 HD TV over dnla(allshare), wirelles over phone.
Then I recorded some more videos (in all posiblle resolutions and sizes), tried to play them on tv, and error occurs - video codec not supported.
Then I tried again playing the first video, and it plays normally, just every other doesnt.
All videos offcourse in 3gp format.
What happened?? And what can I do to be able to play all videos?

I have the same issue. Samsung plasma tv. Video codec not supported on all but a couple of videos. Strange!

I think I ve found out what the problem is. Transfer your videos on to computer and check properties od each one. Check the bitrate and frames per second. It seems that tv doesn't play files with low bitrate or fps.
I ve recorded some videos, and those with bad sunlight (light from surroundings) have lower bitrate and won't play.
I think that's it.
Check YouTube user jemecb Video1- this one plays
Video2 (bad light) - my tv won't play
If anyone knows how to get past this please help

There is a cameramod that, while it isn't widely agreed upon that it improves the quality of the image, does increase the bitrate quite a bit in the videos.
So if it's bitrate you need, then try the modded camera from the sensation development forum.
