I want to change boot screen of Elfin.
I searched the forum but nothing.
I tried some other phone method to change but failed.

Hello everyone, unable to hardspl so used the jump spl and tested with the splash screen included there, which is an at &t splash.
I have tried following hte instructions for changing the splash screen and i put it in with a customruu.exe but it didnt seem to change it :S
Flashed dutty's v4 rom, and it still comes up with the AT&T screen then a splash screen with sound...
please help! i want this ugly at T screen off my pda.

Alright, i worked out to flash it off to a different one, but it still does the one i changed it to, then the animated one that is included with dutty's rom...

My Kaiser was working fine except it started freezing at my htc logo screen at the start..please help how can i fix this.
please give a little bit more info ..
i.e.
Did you install a new program?
Did you try flashing a new rom or radio?
Did you atempt installing hardspl?
did you ...?
well..after booting the HTC logo comes up..that graphical image..and its freezes there..and never makes it to the main screen. I dont know why that happens it was working fine until i installed the diamond keyboard.
I installed the latest Offical Rom the english one. and Diamond Keyboard.
if u can't get past the logo image than i suggest u do a hard reset to get rid of the diamond keyboard and see if that fixes it.
just remember to backup ur contents as hard reset will delete everything

yesterday, it work correctly about 4 hours and than every time I restart my phone, it'll either hang on the first splash screen or it'll make me run through the setup again (calibrate screen, set time/date, choose carrier).
now i can't boot my device, only black screen "smart mobility" i can see. how i can boot another rom on my device or what can i do? please help!!!

I got my touch pro unlocked which was having Idea service provider.
But whenever i restart my phone,I get idea splash screen which i want to be gone without flashing the ROM.
Please help.
If it's the first screen, then the only way to replace it is by flashing; first you need hard spl, then you need to flash a splash screen. There is no other alternative.
If it's the second screen, you can just over-write the welcomehead.192.png in \windows with whatever you want.
can you let me know the process to flash the first screen from the scratch plz...
