Is there a program that can open and edit Windows Mobile Notes Files (*.pwi)?
I know i could convert them with PocketWord. But having a editor/viewer for Windows XP would be much faster and more useful.
Those files are in the notes section of outlook. You can edit them there.
Sorry..i forgot to mention..i dont use outlook.

RE: PPT 2003
Hi,
I found this link to a program called 'Pocket Slides'. You edit them as well with this program. I'm not sure if it opens 2003, but it might be worth a try with the 31 day trial. See there FAQ for more help.

Is this normal? the new Office 2007 documents come with a letter x extension like .docx
The problem is windows mobile 6 cannot recognize the file, let a alone synchronize the file. Any work around for this? Why would microsoft introduce a new file extension that windows mobile 6 cannot support? I could still understand if Windows Mobile 5 cannot support. but At least the new Windows Mobile 6 should be able to support the file type.
Thanks
WM6 will sync .docx files, the problem is, it is pointless. docx is a new format of the .doc file. that comes only in office 2k7 and is incompatible with any earlier version of office, including pocket verson.
Anyway, for you to be able to view .docx files, on any ppc, just save it as Office 2003/XP compatible format. and then sync.
Does anyone know how to install the Note Tker Ink Writer filter on Vista so I can open pwi files in Word? On XP, ActiveSync install adds this filter but WMDC doesn't. Thanks.
Just quickly bump this up... I need to move some of my Notes into Vista too, but WMDC doesn't sync my "notes" even though I chose it as one of the things to sync. Oddly enough, it copies my notes over as a file, but doesn't convert it like ActiveSync did.
How to open files from NOTES (.pwi) and from ONENote on ViSTA ?
You can open OneNote files in OneNote (from Office 2007)

Yes, you must install it. I know Active Sync syncs notes, does Vista Device Center have a similar function?

Dear friends
Are you able to create a new MS Word or Excel file in your HTC Snap (WinMo 6.5)?
I've to transfer a blank Word/Excel from PC to Handphone in order to use the programme. Weird...
Also, I can't view OneNote Mobile on my MS Outlook.
Sorry if my questions sound silly, my first time with a WinMo phone. Appreciate all the help, thanks in advance!
You need One Note on your computer to view your One Note Mobile files!
And no, you can't create files with Office Mobile on WM Standard, use MoDaCo DoNew for that!
