I'm looking for a simple standalone application that notify me that i have a missed call, better if in a nice visual style.
Just like the SMS Chat notification, but for missed calls
I tried S2U2, it can do that, but i'd like to have an app that has only this function, without locking phone or notify me also sms....
Does such application exist??
there's something called iCaller .. look it up.

I don't know if there's any better way to unlock the screen and have a pop up windows to show you GV txt. I know there's email pop up app. Anyone forward his GV txt to gmail, so when there's new txt, you will get a pop up window.
There's another app, called flashlight alerts. I think it will consume a lot of battery, if you txt a lot.
Anyone knows?
Idk. I cut off the emails for gv. The sound notification is enough for me. but if u use something like handcent that has screen wake pop UPS, in gv u can select send as a text
Hi,
Is there any way to leave sms delivery report on and have its notification sound turned off (as well as vibrate) ?
Currently, as I can see, this notification settings are the same for delivery report and actual sms message so when I send a text I get a sms like delivery report which annoys me.
If you use a third party SMS application like Chomp SMS or GO SMS/PRO, there are separate options for notification ring and vibration. You should deactivate entirely the notification from the built-in messaging application though, or else you'll get double notifications.
Another advantage is that on these third party applications, SMS receive confirmation can be set to be muted, independently from the new SMS notification. So you can receive confirmations that do not make any sound whilst preserving your new SMS notification sound
I have the same problem, I've just learned to live with it though. There is literally no option in the menus to remove it though.
I'm looking for an alternative for "RingerX VIP" for iPhone to use with my Android device.
On google play I found a lot of programs, but they are limited for phone calls and messages.
I need to customise the ringtone for one specific mail contact.
At home I have some MyFOx home automation system including smoke - and intrusion detection. When the system detects something an alarm goes off and an email is send to my three e-mail accounts.
But when I'm sleeping or in a meeting the phone is muted, so I will not hear that I receive an alerting email from my MyFOx home automation system.
So I want to customise a ringtone (eventually the vibration also) of an email contact so I can give it a specific ringtone, and that i can configure to also ring when the phone is muted.
So if some one knows a program that can do that, or is able to make one, I would appreciate it :good:
nobody ?
Finally found an application which responds on my demands :good:

I have tried a few notification apps, like LedMeKnow ... and there is a thing I can't find: voice message notification. Most apps do missed calls; issue is that there are technically missed calls the phone is not aware of: when it's out of network. Some providers send SMS in this case. When the other party leaves a message, you get a message icon.
All I want is a LED + vibration reminder when this icon is on. And I can't find any app doing this.
Not sure this has been asked before, but I was unable to find anything, so if this has been answered, please direct me to the right thread.
I receive message notifications from Whatsapp on my Gear 2, but nothing when I get a Whatsapp call, only a 'missed call' notification afterwards if I do not answer. I could not find any way to enable this. In fact the same thing happens with Skype, I receive message notifications but no call notifications.
I assume there is nothing that can be done, any ideas?
The Gear 2 Neo doesn't catch the calls directly, neither from What'sApp nor from Skype. The Gear Manager can only catch the after-call notifications when What'sApp and Skype generate them on the phone's Notification bar.
Until these apps support Wearable's from within the apps or at least generate a notification event when calls happen, you will have to live with that .
