[Q] xt720 keeps rebooting when sim card n sdcard inserted

my milestone xt720 is 4 mths old.. my phone keeps on rebooting when the simcard n sdcard is inserted. It will restarts by itself after the M logo appears, and it will keep doing that until i removed the battery. I had reformatted the sdcard and use another simcard, but still the problem persist. The weird thing is, the phone works perfectly fine w/o sim and sd card. I have sent my phone to the service center and they said there is nothing wrong with the phone. Can anyone help me with this problem...
did you try reflashing the firmware? that most likely should do it. If not then I believe it would be a hardware problem =[
yar.. i did reflash it... but still to no avail... gonna pay the service center another visit this coming monday..
Did u try just using Sim Card w/o SD card and SD Card w/o Sim Card? to see which one might be the problem??
tried both. i have sent the phone for repairs. the lady from the service center said, its may be the motherboard that is giving the problems. they are changing the motherboard for me.

[Q] Sim card not found

Alright, lately after I unlock my phone it tells me that my sim card is not found. It bugs me a lot because I have to shut the phone down and take the card out and back in. No, I didnt drop it and it isnt rooted. Is it my sim card or the phone? And if it keeps doing this, should I send it into ATT?
if you have some compressed air i'd blow it in the sim card slot, but thats probably not the problem i would take it to AT&T and try to get a new sim card or have them look at your phone
Is the sd/sim cover flush?

Is it the SD card that came with the phone, or one you bought separately?

I had to go get a new SIM card today because the original was not connecting. It initially didn't enable a network signal, so the gal rebooted my phone....and of course saw my custom boot animation and status icons and what not...I don't think she had seen a rooted phone before...said something about "you've really bling'd this thing out haven't you? This is the most customized phone I have ever seen"... [sheepish grin]
Pull out the batery and turn on with the sim card inside.

Try the battery pull mentioned above. If it keeps happening then try getting a new sim from att. If the issue persist then call att they will more then likely replace the phone.

[Q] SD card issue

How do you get around the "write only" on a micro SD card. There are no tabs to move and my S3 is locked up and I can't get to anything. I put the card in my PC and tried to load some data and I get write only. What the hell does it think I'm trying to do. I've got a new 64GB micro card that I can't use due to this. I've been all over the net and searched. Does anyone have a fix for this?
This is on a brick with Verizon sIII on it.

[q] can not read sim card

MY HTC ONE S CAN NOT READ SIM CARD. AND I'VE CHANGED A LOT OF SIM CARDS, BUT FAILED AT LAST. THIS DEVICE JUST CAN CONNECT WITH WIFI HOTSPOT, SO I REGARD IT AS A TABLET. I TRY TO FIX IT, BUT A LOCAL TECHNICIAN SAID THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH CPU. AND HE TOLD ME HE CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM, BUT THE FEE IS VERY EXPENSIVE AND CAN NOT GUARANTEE THE SAME PROBLEM WILL HAPPEN AGAIN OR NOT. SO I GAVE UP.
ATTACHED IS THE IMFORMATION OF MY PHONE. PLEASE HELP TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM.

Sim card not detected htc inspire

I got the HTC inspire at&t go phone and I have a new sim card activated ready to go but it still says no sim card.
I've got the same issue with an old inspire. Won't detect any sim I put in it. It appears to be a rather common problem with this device if you hunt around a bit. Some people claim it was fixed with a software update, in my case I believe it to be hardware. Anyone been able to fix this without sending the phone to HTC?
