Hi people!
I have a problem with my touch pro Branded H3G Ita..
I decided to flash the energy rom and it work really good, but the problem that i have depends on the radio version(1.02.25.23). I'd like to flash the radio but, surfing on this forum, i didn't understand if is possible to dump it or download it ( without a radio backup on my pc i can't flash the radio because of the warranty).. does anybody can hel me?
Thanks to all
Mr.Gab
That Radio can be found in this thread (post #3) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470306
and of course here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=439566
But flashing a stock ROM in case of warranty usually also installs a stock Radio.
Oh Wait, you are looking for 1.02.25.23? Sorry, I read 1.02.25.32. I'm afraid I can't help you then.
yes... the problem is that i'm looking for 1.02.25.23 Thanks anyway
Pleeeeeaaaaase heeeelp meeeeee!!!!!!! XD

It doesn't look like that revision of the radio even exists, or maybe its just not listed in the Sticky posts or Wiki page.
I did find a ROM download on the Italian HTC site.
I can't make head or tails out of it because I can't read Italian. So I can't tell you which radio version is included.
Here is the link.
[edit]Its asking for the serial number of the phone.[/edit]
Give it a try.
Hope this helps.

Thank you very much but... no way
a region specific radio? haven't quite heard of that before. energyrom doesn't install a radio so i don't think that's your problem unless you flashed another one. and if it isn't on this site, then, you're in for a rough ride. dl the stock rom and dump it and extract the rilphone and radio. if you never flashed a radio, i think the rilphone may be your problem. just google on how to dump rom's.
either that, or hope you get lucky and someone here just happens to have that radio and rilphone lying around.

Italian rom
http://www.htc.com/it/supportdownloadlist.aspx?p_id=140&act=sd&cat=2
This is the support section of the htc site...You will need to give specifics about your phone...rom version..your service provider...and what you are wanting to do...As I understand you have a touch pro GSM phone that you want to flash energyrom..you are worried that your warranty will not apply considering you have a specific radio version.
Now first thing is have you called your phone provider or service provider to see if you download italian rom from htc if it will void the warranty??
If you flash energyrom...your radio will not change

Official Final version of apanda (clone Boston) ROM 2.1
In the forum htcmania there are already staff testing this version. They say that GPS is working and that the only "problem", also announced by Apanda, is that this version does not bring installed Google applications (GMS), including the Market.
the link of the rom upgrade:
apk. apanda. com. cn / special / soft / pai_test / 2_1 / Hipi2_1_4.zip
The tools used by staff of htcmania for the upgrade are the same as the old version.
Is there some way how to backup my original rom? I have branded ROM by ORANGE and I want to save it if something goes wrong (with 2.1 update). Thanks
The Boston is out in Austria aswell now.
i'm interested to see if there is 2.1 coming on it.
if there is a working 2.1 with german or at least enlish, i'm gonna buy it!
I'm curious about these. A guy at work has the Blaze F800 variant and looking for an update. I don't think it's been done yet but there are several 2.1 roms for the Wellcomm and Apanda.
The problem that I see, is that going into bootloader mode, the only options I see are "reboot" and flash "sdcard:update.zip". In the screenshots of the other phones they are flashing a nb0 file via bootloader and have several more options; one of which is "Flash nb0 file from SdCard"

Hello all,
I've completed my search on the forum for a similar issue but have been unable to find it hence this new thread.
Late March i've installed the latest update and since then tethering does no longer work. Let be try to be a bit more specific.
When i switch on the Mobile hotspot, it is recognized by other devices, it even allows these devices to connect however,
on none of these devices internet access is possible eventhough the host has internet access via 4G+.
I've spoken with Vodafone about it and they've told me there's no restriction on tethering as it prohibited by european law. After that
i contacted Samsung, who connected to my phone, cleared cache and some other things. Result, still no solution.
Third, went to a samsung service point where they've investigated and were unable to assist, even after a factory reset it was still not working.
Fourth, done the settings put global tether_dun_required 0 myself, also no success.
Fifth, installed a tethering app, no success either.
I therefore turn to you experts, is anyone able to give me some guidance on what to do next and or what a possible issue could be ?
Added images which show the version .
Many thanks in advance
Peter

Welcome to XDA! The next thing I'd try is reinstalling the ROM using Odin. You can download the ROM from www.sammobile.com/firmwares.
BTW, questions would go here. Don't worry about this one--the mods will move it shortly.
Cheers!
Thank you
Thank you for your response and apologies for posting the wrong section.
Ok, so i have to go to sam mobile for the rom. Next question would be, which one ?
My phone is bought in the UK and i'm in the Netherlands with a dutch carrier, Vodafone NL.
the csc is: G920FBTU3DPB1
CP: G920FXXS3DPB3
AP: G920FXXS3DPB2
I'm a droid noob so sorry for these silly questions
cheers

Search on the CSC. You're looking for the UK ROM it's currently running.
Brings me back to my initial question, I'm unable to use tethering which i'm really dependent on in my work.
Are you suggesting a reinstall of the rom ? or should i go ahead with a rom specifically for the netherlands.
p.s. My colleague, same phone, has the same issue.
cheers !

I wouldn't think that tethering is dependent upon region after an upgrade. I'd flash the ROM for the phone's region first. If that didn't work, then I'd consider a CSC change and flash a ROM for the Netherlands.
This morning a new update was available which I installed successfully. Tethering is now working again
thank you for your help!
Peter
If have the same issue (also NL Vodafone). Since I upgraded to MM tethering is not working, connects without any problem but there is no data transfer. I'm currently running a custom ROM and don't want to change to stock. I updated my modem and bootloader several times. Can anyone pinpoint what exactly is the problem?
Hi all,
I've flashed murigny64 ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/idol-3/development/6045y-mm-6-0-1-firmware-european-idol3-t3435577
Everything works remarkably well... except that I realised that when I have Data on the maximum I can get is "H+"... It seems I can't get "4G".
Did anyone faced a problem like this one?
Can someone help me please?
BTW: I don't know why but if I try to dial *#*#4636#*#* my phone doesn't display any menu
Me too. 6045Y europe, and using 2 roms (6045Y 6.0.1 Europe EU4.2 and Googly 5.2) and problems with 4g. Call lost in switch from 4g to 3g to take the call....
murigny64 could you take a look please?

Ok, guys. I moved this thread to the Q&A section.
Please use the report button the next time you see a thread being located in the wrong section. This way one of us can move it immediately. Only posting that a thread doesn't belong to section xy isn't very helpful. Neither for the OP nor for us mods. Thanks in advance.

@Alek Dev I've checked your link and I can't see any modems for the 6045Y 6.0.1
Should I try the 6045Y 5.0.2 from Spain (closest country to Portugal) or should I just flash the 6045i 6.0.1 from the USA? or maybe the one in the testing folder?
Two questions if I may
Question 1: to backup my modem do I just need to run the file 6045X_Backup_Modem_to_sdcard.zip? To later recover it (if something goes wrong) it's just a matter of running 6045X_Flash_Modem_from_sdcard.zip?
Question 2: how do you run the zip file? Via TWRP?
Thanks in advance.

Solved both questions.
But after flashing the spanish one still doesn't work for portugal
France, Spain and Portugal have the same modem.
So, if it doesn't work for you, look at other issue on you phone (apn, access provider, ...)
Witch provider you have ?

@murigny64 you were absolutely right! I called the customer support of my network and they didn't enabled 4G on my simcard.
They did some magic on their end and everything works now.

Now I can enjoy my 6045Y with MM and 4G

Personally I did that on my OnePlus 8, but you're posting your question on the wrong section, next time be careful on that.
Just find out it's not possible for Vivo phones:
