Best Touch-friendly PIM - Touch Diamond2, Pure Themes and Apps

I would be glad to hear recommendations. I tried Pocket Informant 8.5, but the touch mode there is still very imature. I'll now try SBSH's program.
Do you have any touch friendly PIM to recommend?
Thanks.

AgendaOne from DeveloperOne or ThumbCal from Thumbapps.
Greetings from Cologne,
Arniebirdy

I got thumbcall, and i think it's one of the best and fingerfriendly programms.

Hi Baltes,
Thanks for sharing, this looks good. Can you replace the integrated TouchFlo3D/Manila calender with this one?

sbsh calendar touch!
Hi folks,
i've used AgendaOne and PocketInformant before but don't like them anymore since they are absolutely not finger friendly.
My new favourite now is sbsh calendar touch, you do not need a stylus AND you can wipe forward/backward days, weeks or whatsoever.
Sure, it doesn't look as nice as AgendaOne or PI, you have to change some colour settings, but it works like a charm with one finger!
(Don't like Thumbcall either. Tried and uninstalled again.)

Thanks for the tip, I really like it!
I tried SBSH's Calendar Touch, and it has a sleeker look, but it has an annoying bug that the bottom bar doesn't work at times. I removed it, and now using Thumbcal.
Thanks!

so now i installed pocket cm.. which is fantastic...
also installed.. very happy with it.. works very good.. for VGA .. u have
to install separate themes..
Also i liked S2U2, slide to unlock..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335978
this is one is the best.. works very smoothly in universal.
so my suggestions.. pocketcm & s2u2.

Pocket CM & S2U2... great combination. Pocket CM Contacts has the sms bug. its fonts are cut and not aligned. rest is awesome.
Any solution for finger touch scrolling in rest of the system. e.g. programs, internet Explorer, file explorer etc??

Try SPB Plus 4. There is finger scrolling function for almost every native WM application - contacts, Pocket Outlook, PIE etc. Works fine with Uni.

YES! Touch flow works on Universal!!!!
You must use the calibration and after do a soft reset. This is what was missing!
When you run TouchFlo it will work.
Cheers

Need help to identify a program

Hi, I need help to identify the program that's used in this video as "picture finger friendly nice working" I would like buying my Trinity that one, seems very nice.
The program appears at minute 3.25
Also would appreciate help identifying the weather program used there, seems much nicer than the Spb Weather I just bought on 23/03/2008
Upps almost forgot, video is here: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=aDQz3nKJPMw
Spb Mobile Shell 2.0 was used at the beginning
HTC Home was on the Today screen (Has built in weather)
Not sure what the other weather app was but I like it.
Also was using a cube but cant identify what one was used.
With the exception of MS2.0, the weather program, and a few others I couldn't identify, can be found in this forum. You may want to look at the Mobile Shell Icons thread for some incredible things they have done.
Hope this helps a little and good luck........

I think that the picture app is HTC Album!!!
Ciao

Post I780 today Screen

Hi All,
I780 Screen is a little bit small than other PDAs so demand appropaite choice of Pulg ins for today screen - to show more info.
Here is my screen as of now....
Something interesting: Deletion of below bar to add some more space in today scrren. Please post your today screen.
hi may i ask, what did u do to get the news? i wish to have them too.
For news I use SPB insight...
Currnetly I have downloaded relavga so today also changed a lot...I will post that soon...
But where are other I780 Users?? We wanna see how others configured their today screens so please post.
I don't really like busy today screens - so mine is pretty vanilla:
Hi where can dl this pretty vanila? Thanks.
I'm old fashioned.
Off topic: Does anyone of you use any kind of TouchFlo on i780? No 3D cubes or iPhone like apps but just scrolling any system screen using fingers (like the new Opera Mobile 9.5).

It's pretty straight forward:
1) get a HTC home plug-in of your choice - I use the HTC Home Idiamond (you can get the .cab in the hacking and development forum).
2) UITweaker - change the menu bars to black
3) Select the calender and task items in settings.
That's it!

I tried touchflo but couldn't get it to work - I use pocketCM with a black theme and that works well with my current today screen.
Some of the themes work that goes on in the hacking/development forums is amazing but it's just too much hard work for me!
Oh two other MUST-HAVE apps for i780 users -
Slide2unlock - 100X better than using the built in lock and again fits into the black and white theme I'm going for.
S2P - great media player from same developer than works well with s2unlock.
Anyone know how to remap the softkeys - I want the Calendar one to be mapped to opera.

I use
1. Resco file explorer 2008, it's a touchflo scroling application.
2. Ulimate Launch
3. SPB Mobile Shell - with realvga
Fortunately there's an app that works: FTouchSL. But it's not free...

I think the trial version is free with no time limit. There are some excluded features compared to the registered version though I understand.
I use Ultimate launcher with the HTC homescreen plugin. Best solution ever.

This screen reminds me much of the Treo screens. Look over at mytreo.net to see if they have any good ideas on Today screens for WM (they also have screens for their other OS)

How to change links from sense (calendar-->informant)..?

Hi,
there was before ssmapa, if I remember well...
what about Leo, is there any soft to change links
from sense to 3rd party software, on example,
from calendar to informant.. etc?
Does anybody tried?
Is there maybe registry changes?
thx
Wox !
I'm interested too in the modifiable link of the home screen.
If you set PocketInformant (or any other calendar app.) to your default app. for appointments and you hide the calendar tab in Sense, a tap on a calendar item in the sense home page will take you directly to PI.
If you set PI as the default app. for task a tap on the WinMo task icon wil fire up the taks "department" of your favorite organizer app.
(didn't test contacts, but i guess that it will work in the same way)
This trick will also work for Agenda One and SBSH Calendar Touch (tested)
Personnaly, I put SBSH Calendar Touch on start icon on today of sence and keep the tab of calendar.
When I want to see rapidly my appointments, I click on the tab of sence, if I want more, I click on SBSH CT icon.
Yeah, that's a nice setting. I like the calendar tab of Sense too, I even use it for quickly making an appointment. A nice and simple way of getting your things done.
But it's always nice to have the oppertunity to fire up an app to do some "heavy" calendar tasks Right now I'm testing three PIM-apps:
PocketInformant
Agenda One
SBSH Calendar Touch
I really like the way SBSH Calendar touch displays my tasks and let me handle them. On the other hand I don't like SBSH CT's calendar week view. Agenda One has a more sophisticated week view that I like much more.
PI is too much of a burden to use for my purpose. Although it has the best week view of all PIM apps at the moment, it is too much depending for it's use on the input of a tiny stylus.
I think I stick to the minimalistic HTC Calendar tab, and use SBSH Calendar touch for my tasks.

SSMAHO, the successor to SSMAPA. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493810
This will allow you to soft-change the Calendar link in the frontpage to whatever you want to launch. I use ThumbCal personally.
Think this is the 4th time I've posted this link in the HD2 forum by now!

SBSH iLauncher

Can anybody tell me if the SBSH iLauncher works and how well it works on an HD2. I like the idea of it but it's no good if it won't do as it says. Here's a link to check it out for anyone else interested.
Thanks.

Ilauncher was my favourite task manager and launcher on my Axim X51v. When I got the LEO it was one of the first applications I installed, together with Pocket Breeze, but removed it after a day as I found it was not finger friendly and uncomfortable to use.
I just checked, they haven't updated this app for just over two years, I think you will find the same what I did
