Default Audio Manager & Default Landscape - Touch Pro, Fuze General

I'm running the Elite RC4 ROM and would like to change the default audio player from Media Player to the TF3Dv2 Audio Manager tab. Anyone know how to do this? I don't see an option in the Advanced Config program nor can I find an answer after searching the threads on here.
Further, anyone know how to get the original landscape instead of the current TF3Dv2 version?
Thanks for any help!

sadly, i don't think there's a way to make that your default player. it's technically not a program/media player on its own, it's just an add own sort of thing.
as to the original landscape, you're giong to have to either remove TF3Dv2 and go back to just TF3D or install a new ROM with TF3D. The landscape screen is part of TF3D v2 and you just kind of have to deal with that because you can't really change it out.

Thanks
Thanks for the answers, nhshah7.
I use a Motorola T505 to play music off my Touch Pro in my car via Bluetooth (Touch Pro Bluetooth -> Motorola T505 FM Transmitter -> Car Stereo) and in Elite RC3 when I use to press the PLAY button on my Motorola T505 it would use the TF3D Audio Manager and not Media Player.
I think my default player was still Media Player back then though. Anyone know how to get the TF3D Audio MAnager to play when I use my Motorola T505?
Thanks again.

A2DP controls

Hi!
I'm using my Touch Pro in conjunction with an A2DP enabled car kit to stream MP3s to my car radio.
Unfortunately when I use the prev or next button on my carkit the (sucky) Touch Music player responds to them, instead of the (not so sucky) Pocket Player, which I prefer to play my MP3s with.
Does anyone have any suggestions on this?
Thanks!
Same here. The Pocket Player guys over at the Conduits forum are looking for a solution...
I have the same problem. You can not use the pause/play avrcp buttons to control the player. If you try to pause any player you will accidentally start up the wmp.
I guess we have to wait for a new rom or program that can reconfigure the avrcp controls

I have the same problem, too! Help needed! I'm using the funkwerk dabendorf ego look hands-free system. http://www.fwd-online.de/content_manager/page.php?ID=17780&dbc=40e5f956c20fc998358f90e2240b457d
yup even if u disable touch flo 3d then it just opens media player, pretty annoying
Hi,
I don't know how to change the defaultplayer but it is possible. I like my A2DP to use the Touch Player.
However I had to reset my device to the factory settings because A2DP didn't use the Touch Player anymore, but only used Windows Media Player.
Therefore my conclusion that it must be possible to make A2DP use another application.
When I was looking on how to change back the A2DP to Touch Media Player a lot of people on the forums suggested to make sure that the application that you want to use is the default player for MP3 files.
So what applications opens when you click on a MP3?

AJ

Touch Flo Media Playing not working

I had some media files (2 albums) stored on the Device memory. I cut and paste to the storage card and now the media player won't play anything, and it won't recognise new albums on the storage card?
Error message is...
We're Sorry....
A problem has occurred with AudioManager_eng.exe.
I have tried a soft reset but no luck, is there a way to reset the media player to default in anyway? or reload the sw?
I am using XDA Serra.
Cheers, Blair

Bump.......does noone know how to fix this?
Cheers, Blair
Same issue with me. I'm using NATF's 2.3 on the Fuze.
re
Well I am using S2P now which is working really nice, and is better that the Touch Flo player, although it doesn't have a playlist option.

However I would prefer to get the TF version working, even if I won't use it much now.
Cheers, Blair
I'm not sure but if you don't sync youy music library trough media player on your pc you're not be able to see it in Touchflo media player...
So try to sync some music this way or scan trough wmplayer to update the library, maybe this way TouchFlo media player show the list.
However I used to refresh the Touchflo music library deleting the folder called HTC under Application Data Folder at the root.
Reset the unit.
Just because TouchFlo does'nt seem to refresh any change made if I keep the same name on playlists or make modifications on albumart.
Hope this help! But I really recommend conduits Pocket player as the best player (lyrics, bluetooth, fullscreen albumart, equalizer, dsp, etc.)
TF3D Music player..
Thanks! Just downloaded the Conduit Pocket Player. Still wish I could use the TF3D interface to this or WinMediaPlayer. Maybe will be addressed in future NATF rom...

Anyone else have trouble w/ Pocket Player on the Fuze? It seems to 'skip' about once or twice a song, w/ no exceptions. I can't figure out how to fix that. Any ideas?

TouchFlo3D: Music Player & Sony Bluetooth

Hello,
I'm trying the TouchFlo Music Player on my Touch Pro (Sprint), and the controls don't seem to work when I use my headphones (Sony bluetooth Dr-Bt160as). If I use the controls when I play music through Windows Media Player, they all work. It's just the TouchFlo Music Player that has problems.
Is there a setting somewhere I'm supposed to set to get the controls working from my headphones?
Thanks in advance,
Michael

Bluetooth controls in mp3 player

Hi
I have tried this question in the htc hd mini forum but no answers so I have moved it here instead and hope tha someone has a answer to this.
I have a problem with my hd mini and it is to get player control with bluetooth.
I have tried the wolfman patch and it did work to the extent that the default player didn't popup when pressing player controls on the headset. But it did not stopped the actual mp3 player it only moved me to the home screen.
I have tried the avrcp agent and that did not work either.
Does anyone have any suggestions for this or another good mp3 player that works with the bluetooth headset I have tried s2p, coreplayer, gsplayer mortplayer and pocketplayer in pocketplayer I only gets mono sounds in the headset.

The Quest for an Android Music player that does A2DP bluetooth and a lockscreen

Ok Folks before you flame me, please allow me to elaborate:
yes, i DID search (but couldn't find anything specific).
yes, I DID try several things on my own (see below for details)
yes, the things I'm looking for in specific seem to not exist in one package.
Ok, with that disclaimer, the setup
AT&T Galaxy note running Black Star V2 with Apex Launcher 1.2.2 / Android ICS 4.04. (Please note that these issues ALSO APPLY TO THE STOCK Gingerbread software that came with the phone).
Ok folks in short, I am looking for a music player that can do ALL 3 of the following (every single music player I tried, and I tried tens literally does 1 or 2 out of the following list, but not all):
1.) Pin-lock friendly lock screen music controls (my email is an Exchange acount which enforces a pin lock) [Poweramp does this well]
2.) Persistent player controls even when no music is playing (this is VERY helpful to start playing music after a while) [Cloudskipper is the only player I know of that does this!]
3.) Full bluetooth track / ID3 streaming to the stereo. I don't think this issue has to do with the bluetooth stack because the stock player and/or Google Play music both work. However, their UI (and/or lock screens suck big time)!
Software I have tried:
MixZing
CloudSkipper
Stock Android music player
Google play Music player
Apollo
doubletwist
Winamp
Poweramp
Rocket Music Player
Zimly
Songbird
PlayerPro
n7player
MusicXmatch
NRG Player
Astro Player
(and more that I can't remember off the top of my head).
Can someone please help?
PS: Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum. I had no idea where to post it.
I'd settle for option 3 only. I don't like the stock player either, but it's the only one that sends the music info to my carkit.
I haven't tried as much as you, but I haven't found any yet that do this.
Im with you dude, It would be nice if I could see what songs are being played on my deck. But android doesnt seem to be able to send that data.
If the stock player fulfills all your needs, except for the lockscreen, why not try installing widgetlocker as your lockscreen and using a music widget of your choice?
