Hi all,
AKU3.2 comes with Bluetooth PAN - Internet Sharing, that fast and easy to use, you may see the example how to use here:
http://www.pdamobiz.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=69697
==============================================
Just would like to share our aku3.2 rom for futher improvement. This rom for experience rom upgrade user only!.
This rom is from Wizard rom with hacked some files.
Button Map OK! (All buttons and softkeys as Prophet)
WiFi OK!
Camera OK!
Charging LED OK! but delay about 10 seconds.
Battery Power OK!
Bluetooth OK! (I tested with Internet sharing, not test with a2dp yet)
This rom boot time is about 30 sec.
The problems are:
1. MSN can not sign in.
2. WiFi and Camera can not be used in the same time.
This rom is setting for WiFi, if you need to use camera you have to change registry.
Use registry editor and search for OV9650.dll and change to S5K3BAFX.dll then soft reset
If you want use WiFi again, you have to change registry back and soft reset.
3. MMS not work, no menu bar shown.
4. I don't know yet.
If you don't mind 3 above problems, you may use it as normal.
Thanks so much to Ruchonburi for his work.
Thanks to KTamas http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276799.
Thanks to kremo http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276986
You can download rom image from
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Prophet-PDAMobiz-AKU3.2-beta-OS.rar
Use aWizard to upgrade this rom.
I hope that remain problems can be solved soon.
Enjoy AKU3.2
nice, Thanks.
Any experts to solve the 3 probs?
Great work, I'll have a go fixing the problems. The reason the camera and wlan dont work together is that the module tnetwln.dll is overlapping memory with the camera driver, I think I can fix this.
Hopefully the msn and and mms problems are just related to missing files or registry entries.

Great,
Thanks
Well the MMS issue is simply because there are some registry entries missing that would normall be setup by files bundles by the operator in the extended rom.
I'm currently working on getting the camera & wlan working and I'm flashing the rom as I type this (it takes about 20 minutes for anyone who doesnt know).
If I cant get MSN working I'll just remove it from the ROM and we can try and get it working as a seperate package as it means we dont need to keep trying to flash the rom, just create a cab file.
Basically I'm combining the various AKU3.2 out there to try and get a fully work version.
Also I'm creating a clean rom so that means I've removed smartdialling, HTC ZIP, voice dialling etc (as well as the registry entries for them). I prefer having a clean rom base that I can manually add features to using cab files.

How did the wlan issue go?
What is the power led delay problem that is mentioned in the 1st post?
Is there anything I can do from my side to help you?
Still working on the wlan issue, I've got the AKU3.2 from the Universal as the modules have different memory addresses so it gives me more scope of fitting all the modules and drivers in the memory space.
Don't know what causes the LED delay, but its really not a problem as it just means you have to wait a few more seconds for the LED to go solid amber when you charge the device.
I suppose the best help you could give would be to test it once (if) I get the camera and wlan working together.
MSN issue seems to be unfixable, I guess I'll just remove it from the rom and we'll wait for Live Messenger to get released.
Success!!! Got the camera and wlan working just fine, going to do a little bit of testing, remove MSN, then I'll upload the rom.
I would like to test it.
Just one question: I am using a XDA Neo (G4) with JAMin 2.13 WWE ROM, but the device is not CID unlocked. I purchased the unit from a company who falshed the JAMin English ROM for me with some special equipment to bypass the CID issue. So, before I update to this AKU 3.2 ROM, what should I do? Can I directly upgrade to this AKU 3.2 ROM from JAMin ROM?
Also, what is the last version of aWizard? Could anyone please give me a download link?
I would be happy to test this ROM, if somebody can help me go through the upgrade process.
Thanks a lot!

Hehe, I do not use MSN on my Neo (JAMin), and I do not use MMS, too. So, #1 and #3 are not a problem to me, and I do not care about the LED delay, too. But I do use wifi and camera a lot, sometimes I use it at the same time. I truel hope this issue will be solved soon.
Msn
See the picture.
If you can solve the model name , I think you can get the MSN working.
YES! Coool!!!!!!! 28Mb RAM FREE
Can't upgrade it with awizard
Hi guys,
I am having difficulties with flashing the rom on my Qtek Prorhpet. The problme is that when I extract the rom and copy it in the ROM folder of aWizard directory and after that when choosing the "w" option in aWizard the ROM file can not be recognised.
Can some one help me. Can you please describe in details how extactly do you put the new ROM on the device.
Thanks

I've backed up everything and i'm ready to flash!
Also try what Iamguest suggests for the msn thingy.
Uploading now, but from my testing its a bit buggy (AKU32 is a beta I think after all).
The camera does work but with the following problems
*After exiting the camera app the screen orientation does not change back to portrait mode.
*After each soft reset you need to press the camera buttin twice to get it to load.
I've went back to AKU2 and think I will wait for the official AKU32 release.

I've try your modified rom, but it a bit buggy (and unstable) as you said. Maybe it came from module modification incomplete.
If you remember, could you tell me what you have done with new rom? So that I can continue your idea. Don't give up, this rom I've been working for 3 weeks already.
Thanks so much for working on it.
==============================
So now, still the only 3 problems remains, I wish I could have rom image builder.
For MSN, if you try merging my dump files with AKU2.0 rom image, you now can sign in with msn. But it creates new the problem new, is that prophet after turn off ~5 seconds it will turn on by itself. Can not be used as normal.
great work guys, keep it up!
Anyone tested a2dp yet?
Qtek s200 G4 chip (swisscom)
So I succesfully upgraded from the dopod novendor id rom to the Prophet_Clean_AKU32. using Awizard.
Now I am getting an error when trying to connect with activesync
(i had to reinstall activesync just to get connected so everything was clean)
It says "there is not enough free memory on your device to synchronize information" support code:8007000e after active sync connects
At first the contacts button didnt work at all so i assumed it had been stripped out, i installed inesoft address book 1.64 but though the program runs it doesnt fix the other issue.
Later: did some further testing and still no luck, have scoured the internet but just the usual dumb support help like check there are no programs running (i mean i can at least figure out to follow the error message instructions) , has anyone who used this rom got this problem or is it just me?
Contacts is the only activesync item selected and all the others work when tested. I even removed all entries from outlook contacts to test.
Still gives the same error! Any help will be greatly rewarded. (well thanked at least)
later: another bug seems to be the backlight that disactivates itsself from time to time and needs to be manually reactivated.
Once again, nice work, as I said, you always walk a step ahead. Tanks a lot for this release.
Hello!
I have an Imate Jamin - it is quite an early model - it has black send/receive keys (bought it on February 2006).
The fact is that the camera and the Wifi do not work. When I start the camera application I see the clock icon for a second and then nothing happens (I remain at the exact screen). The wifi on the othe rhand seems to try to detect networks but never finds anything.
So.. the big question is whether this is software related (I have currently hard resetted and use S200's latest firmware) or hardware related. In other words two could happen:.
a. Either my model uses some older camera / wifi and thus the new firmware does not have proper drivers (has anyone else upgraded his eaelry jamin?)
or
b. Due to the many falls something has broken in my jamin (is this expected).
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me with this - I cannot find any solution.. I tried downgrading to see if its firmware related but I got an error message.. (Invalid Command at 95%)
Thanks in advance

Which ROM did you install?
AKU 2.2, 2.3, or 3.2?
You have to download using an official ruu rom upgrade (downgrade), there are better people to tell you which one rather than me, I am quite new to this group. One of the upgrades does break wifi/camera so it is not just your phone, a download will cure it, you have not broken it.

I've been using this program for about a week and I'd say 90% of the time when i try to send a message it says 'try again' as if it's not been sent. Trouble is i know most of the time it has. I'd ignore it but the second i do it won't have really have sent the message. This of course mean the other party is getting double messages as i need to send it twice, it always goes through the second time.
Yesterday i flashed to another Radio Rom 1.02.25.28 and flashed another base Rom (latest ROMeOS²) but still have the same problem, I've disabled the proxy setting in connections and I'm using Windows Live 10.6.0034.0800 (Fixed) cab.
Any way to solve this problem or can anyone recommend a good, relieable alternative?
I've searched the forum but I can't find any similar problem for Polaris.
I recently upgrade my Polaris into WM6.1 official ROM.
Everything looks fine until a few days ago my Garmin,Google Map & QuickGPS start working improperly.
All of my GPS software can't find any GPS device.
It just blank,no satellite signal at all, even after a few hours.
I've tried many GPS tools to analyze but all useless.
I've tried to recover from my Sprite backups but even the first backup with working GPS state can't solve the problem.
So I decided to Hard Reset.
It worked,but not for long...
The same problem occurs so I try to analyze the cause.
The cause is invalid program behavior :
WM Error Reporting
CE-Star
...and some other software built for older WM
The BIG Question is....why & how?
Why some other older software works why some other not.
Why newer software can also cause this ??
How to solve this problems ??
I hope someone here can help me solve this problem
You have problem because old software is not compatible with WM 6.1
I'm sorry to tell you that you did not search well, because all kinds of trouble with 6.1 are described in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=411883&page=13
My search keyword is "GPS problem" & I can't find anything related with Polaris...
...and even that thread only mention GPS not work well or slow.
My problem is GPS not working at all after a few days of use & after installing several apps (new & old).
(CE-Star & WM Error Reporting is a new apps)
BTW,it never happen when I use my old ROM which is the official WM6.0 ROM
I've installed many old software (for 2002,2003,WM5) & I never get any problem with my old ROM.
Only about a week I use the new ROM (official WM6.1 ROM) I get this problem (GPS inactive).
one more symptoms is sometimes my GPS LED signal turned on by itself right after soft reset.
That's why I assume it is WM6.1 BUG...
Any other solution...please ?

This is not due to WM 6.1 - it never happens to me.
However, I don't know what is cause of your problem. Are you sure that there is no hardware error?

I'm sure of it.
The GPS is fine if I install nothing except GPS software (garmin & google map).
When I forgot to disable the WM Error Reporting & once it report an error....the GPS stops working.
That's why I disable WM Error Reporting.
So, if there is only Garmin soft & Google maps there is no GPS error?
Then this could be a software conflict.
I'm afraid that you have to do installation of other software you use one by one, on try-untill-it-fails scheme. Start with software which is most important to you... i.e. Total Commander, Skype, S2U2...

How can a software conflict caused a Hardware malfunction...
That's why I call it WM6.1 Bug.
Software (non driver) conflict must not caused hardware malfunction.
I've done that 5 times already (5 times hard reset)...& is going to be 6
I'm tired of doing that.
I can't restore my backup bcoz the problem is persisting.
I hope anyone of you can help me with another solution
Hi,
have you tried to look at the data coming from the GPS hardware, for example with the HTC GPS Tool
You will be able to see better what's happening than using nav or mapping software.
HTH
Kim
BTW the GPS hardware in my Orbit 2 works *much* more reliably than the same hardware in my Ignito/Diamond and IMO makes the Orbit 2 an all round better machine, I conclude that the problems with the Diamond are due to a poorly implemented antenna.
@Bodisson, have you returned your Polaris to WM6.0? I rashly upgraded to 6.1 and I'm suspicious that it's causing some problems, e.g. with biotouch freezing etc. I'd be interested to discuss

...and that include HTC GPS Tool, some other GPS tools.
The result is a blank data, not even a weak signal.
Usually when my GPS works,at least it shows weak signal in Garmin (when not in open space & of course no fix).
But when it's "dead" (like just now....6th time already & just Hard reset to make it work again) no signal at all & google map even tell me that I don't have any GPS attached.
O.K. - Then how about GPS Cycle Computer which can use its own custom internal DLL to bypass the winmo DLL.
I guess if that doesn't work then maybe your internal antenna has come adrift (do you have an external antenna to try) or the hardware is faulty?
EDIT: "I've tried many GPS tools to analyze but all useless" You haven't told us which tools you tried, they aren't useless, you *may* have a hardware fault!

I'll try that...thanx
BTW,i said "it was useless" becoz it can't solve my problem...all stated the same : no GPS signal & even no GPS at all.
about the tools....sorry...my bad...
I've tried at least 2 tools & 3 GPS apps.
Tools : HTC GPS Tool & GPS Toggle.
Apps : Garmin XT,Google Maps & Palringo (locator).
About hardware fault...everytime I hard reset it work.
...so I don't think it's hardware fault.
and also Quick GPS always reporting connection error when the GPS stop working.
I've tested the connection & there is no problem with the connection.
I also tried connecting it with a DSL connection & still connection error.
This error never happen when my GPS work.
At last I think I know what cause it & how to prevent it happening.
After some experiments & analysis, I can conclude it that the cause is Registry Bug.
Everytime I Install many new software & didn't give them enough time to load the registry the same problem happened.
To prevent that from happening I install the other software 1 by 1 & give them time to load the registry properly about 30 sec - 3 minutes & the problem is FIXED
There is likely no problem when the software I installed did no registry changes (at least according to my experiments).
As I wrote in post #6 - software conflict.
BTW, QuickGPS does nothing with GPS hardware - it just updates satelite data. It's error is regarding connectivity to internet!
But, I'm glad that all is working now.

I don't think it's a software conflict
As I mentioned before, the problem only occurred when I install many apps all at once (which i usually did )
The registry entries of all apps were queuing on the memory before all can be loaded & that caused the problem (GPS down).
All the apps I mentioned before causing the problem because it did a lot of registry modifications (but I don't know with WM Error Reporting).
As I installed more & more apps with many registry modification, without waiting for the registry to load, the problem occurred.
Now I can install all apps perfectly (1 by 1 with delay about 30 sec - 3 min every installation)
About QuickGPS...
I know that it's only download the GPS data & has no connection with the Hardware.
...but it help me realize that QuickGPS is also accessing registry.
When many new registry queuing to be loaded,QuickGPS can't access the registry properly & prevent it to update the data.
Thanx for replying anyway
Hello all!
I'm completely stock, no root and have the latest firmware for the nordic countries installed. The other day I wanted to try out the MusicHub-app (see title), which is pre-installed with ICS, but I'm not able to get it to work. I'm wi-fi connected, GPS connected and have my Samsung account on the tablet going, but it's stuck on 'opening' for about 5 minutes and then a dialogue box states (translates to) 'Unable to establish location'. Hitting 'OK' then closes the app.
Anybody seing the same? Am I missing out on something here? Settings? Might it be that the app-version has issues? I have read somewhere that MusicHub is currently not available in all regions - if so, why would the app be pre-installed for my region? I should add that I talked to Samsung, and they had no answer other than trying a factory reset. I actually did that less than two weeks ago so I doubt that it will make any difference.
Any ideas, suggestions or feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks.

After having tested the MusicHub a little I seem to have found what's causing the issue on my tab. Using the native task manager to free memory/RAM apparently kills some process essential to the MusicHub. After a fresh restart of the tab, the MusicHub works fine. Testing again after having freed memory causes it not to work. Restart of the tab - voila it works again. Just in case someone of you runs into the same issue
