ok im using the CORE rom...
and everytime my phone goes to sleep, and i re light up the screen i get this message:
"CANNOT EXECUTE" \Windows\TimeWizard.exe
hmmm? anyone know how i can get rid of this.. or prehaps a link to the file lol
turning into rather anoying habbit on my phone now.

hi, i flashed the tnt .1933 rom yesterday evening.. after the setup was complete.. the phone application wouldnt wrk,every tym it goes in stand by, i havta to take the battery out to turn it bak again..it doesn't turn off at all.. havta take the battery out.. doesnt go to bootloader.. while tryin to reflash it .. it jus sits there.. n freezes.. a messege in computer comes sayin..utility error or sumthin.. doesn't read my sd card..
All in all it jus made my phone completely useless..

First off, YOU (and you alone) chose to flash the ROM. MANY people are using that rom with little to no problems, so don't blame the rom or the cook (you message to me implies this) that your phone has issues due to something you chose to do.
Second... Posting stuff like "utility error or sumthin." is worthless. How are we supposed to help you debug something when you can't even tell us what it really says? Sorry but my crystal ball quit working a long time ago.
Third... You haven't told us anything about your device. What's your IPL and SPL? Did you CID Unlock or are you doing this with Shelltool?
Fourth... Put the thing in bootloader. Take the battery out. Then hold down the camera button and turn it back on. Once in bootloader then flash an official rom (Not another custom) to clean it all up. Then try going back to a custom.
To me it appears you had a bad flash. I think a lot of people here don't follow the instructions about that when you start a flash DON'T DO ANYTHING ON YOUR PC WHILE ITS FLASHING! Walk away for 10 mins and let it do what it needs to do. Even sending IM's can cause a flash to screw up (I've had it happen to me).
yes it is CID unlocked.. i was using NBD 8.3 before i tried to flash this rom.. i aint blaming no one.. i jus need help on how to fix it.. if it went to bootloader mode i wouldnt be posting a sos..but it doesnt..
So i was just wondering if there was some other way to get it to bootloader mode..

i just reached home.. and was trying to goto bootloader mode again.. i took the battery out.. it is fully charged. it made a beep sound once.. n whn i take the battery out.. the screen blinks once.. b4 going out.

hey, my mda doesnt even turn on anymore after i flashed it with a bad rom, do u guys think its the battery but the battery was fine when i flashed it but then it doesnt boot to the window, so i took the battery out and put it back in and it doesnt turn on anymore.. i tried the camera, rest button and other stuffs. and when i flashed that rom the it changed my G4 spl verison, it was 2.26.xx.xx, now it added "i" after the numbers and changed it to "2.21.xx i" ..do u think my phone is bricked? or i should def. get a new battery and try it out? even though if i buy a new battery do u think i can still flash it back to the offical rom or love rom wizard.

Basically what you need to do joco is take the battery out and leave it out for a few hours then try to boot your phone, its worked for me and if you are trying to charge it use a mains charger not the usb lead,the usb lead just doesnt charge the phone unless there is some life left in the battery.
but my phone is fully charged.. i just want to flash my old NBD 8.3 bak to it, but i cant.. it doesnt go in bootloader mode.. at all.
i downloaded wizard setup tool.. to make it go to bootloader , but it still doesnt go..it also says. DOC write protected..
my phone was CID unlocked . and sim Unlocked. but in wst. it shows.sim0000000000001 LOCKED
i also downloaded, loziwiz to unlock the CID,and the sim, but the same results..
the phone doesn't even turn off.

after number of times. hard resetting my phone.. finally it works.. fine.. yea i cant flash another rom..nd it says sim and cid locked for some reason.. but atleast i can use it now.. hope ur phone wrks.. tooo

i did that yesterday a left the battery for an hour and plug it in and it still wont turn on.
*** i got my phone up and running. i am using a very old firmware from at and t from 12/07. however, fromt this point on, any other rom that i try to use is giving me a 302 error, both official and cooked roms except for the old one. can anyone shine some insight on this? thanks.
UPDATE on current problem:
1) i tried to update to a custom rom for the first time. it had worked. i used hard spl 3.29, then installed the natf v4 rom. the rom worked fine and everything. however, it was not to my liking.
2) maybe this was my stupidest mistake because i am a newbie. i tried to install an official rom right after. when i did this, the phone was stuck on 89%, and just freezes. and now i am stuck at the tri color screen (boot screen).
3) nothing i load is working. can someone please point me in the right direction in what im suppoose to do from here. i tried the sticky thread, but i am not having any luck. i need this to work asap. please help. thanks all is aprpeciated.
when i try to install the same natf rom, i get the error 262. it doesnt even go past 0%.
when i try to install the original oem rom, it goes to 89%, and stops and gives me a 309 error.
there's plenty of stickies and other topics around that have potential solutions, try those first, post back if nothing's working.

yes ih ave tried. the phone is not workign whatsoever. it wont pass the at and t screen that show the R, G, and D numbers. i can do hard reset, that doesnt work. it just stops. im still searching all over the forum right now. but i need the right solution because i need to get this phone to work ughh im sorry if i seem like im asking to much. please any help is appreciated thanks.
i also cant plug it in through usb. after it freezes that stops too so i cant load anything to update the phone.
What version of hardspl are you flashing? Maybe your rom do not support that. try to manually go to tri color screen and see if it connect to USB or not.

i beleive it was 3.29. how do i manually go into tri color screen? note i cant go pass the first screen
i am currently trying the sd card method to boot up with the kaidiag.nbh file. its not working. nothing boots up. its still freezing at the first screen.

is there anythign specific i have to do to boot up from the sd card? sorry for so many responses i am panicing and ihave to ge tthis phone to work before i go to work in the morning..

thanks. i jsut tried that. it booted up and isntalled update. it went to the tri color screen, then to the white loading screen, and now im stuck again...
ok it got pass the white loading screen. now im stuck at the good ol tri color screen. anything i was trying to load fromthis point foward is not working. evrtygyhing either is stuck on 0% or it jsut gives me an error to go to recovery mode. please help. i jsut want to revert bck to the oem rom if possible. i just need my phone up and running.
i am getting the error RUU 302. where would i go about this to do it from scratch? as i mentioned i so far have 3.29 hardspl installed

i run manup's eclair. i was on my G1 yesterday and i was playing a game and it froze all of a sudden. i pulled the battery and turned it bac on but ther was a boot loop so i went into recovery to fix it but it cant read any of my sd cards so i cant fix it. also wenever i try to do anything in recovery all the text flashes and its really weird someone help if u can

Maybe your sd is going bad?

amon ra's recovery, always been good for me i think it might be just what u said ill try out a new sdcard sometime soon ty
EDIT: nvm i just tried an extra sdcard tht i had tht could b read (i checked) and my phone still couldn't read it w/e guess ill just try to get the nexus now lol
EDIT2:fixed it it was the recovery, i just reflashed it thru fastboot and it was all good
please help i used to have cm6 and i had the joker theme with the splash screen but after updating to cm7 im on nightly 30 now but ive been trying to install another splash screen n ive been naming them how the instructions tell me too after going to bootloader n it reads it doesnt give me the option to update apparently is not reading the file so im stuck with the joker splash screen n im bored of it already lol...does anybody has any ideas thanx

You positive it's in the lowest folder of your SD card? I.E., not in a folder at all, just "on" your SD card?
The file needs to be named PC36IMG.zip, windows hides extensions by default, so don't make it PC36IMG.zip.zip. Also, you have all the files inside? Upload it so we can take a look at it.
