I am having some troubles with the Jf 1.5. I had update the radio and updated to JF 1.5, but somethings seems to be wrong. I am not able to play the videos that I record and I am not able to play Youtube Videos. When I play them, It says "Cannot Play Video" and closes. If anyone could help me, that would be great
Whats your previous rom? I came from haykuro adp to jf 1.5 without problems. Did you try wiping?
I came from the JF 1.43 (non-ADP) build and upgraded to JF 1.5 ADP without a wipe.
My video recording and playback works. YouTube appears to work, although it's tough to test on my spotty 2G connection right now.
Just playing back regular MP4 video also appears to work as it did before.
I did the update from the ADP Holiday 1.1 version to the ADP 1.5 version and several things didnt work at all. I wiped the phone and haven't had any issues since..
On a side note, it annoys me that I can't keep my settings through multiple ADP versions. I can understand coming from the normal or UK versions, but not ADP to ADP

I think i went from JF 1.41. That's the modded RC30 right? When i try to play any video playback on the JF 1.5, i can't. I tried wiping it and it still doesn't work. But when I install the 1.5 recovery.img, I can watch my video but not youtube. But this is not JF 1.5, and I loose the apps like spare parts. I wonder what is wrong?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem. Thanks
can you be a bit more specified? what kind of connection are you on? are you using cooked or shipped ROM? can you browse other webpages?
i am using wi-fi connection and yes i am able to go on the internet, but not youtube. Keep getting a message saying "no videos"
right now youtube is under maintenance, do you have this problem before or just these past few hours?
I thought there is a youtube application provided? With that application, video is loaded fine. But when i tried to watch youtube video through Opera 9.5, it shown no video. Probably flash player matter?
Ok Thanks theclueless, maybe thats why its not loading. I will continue to try.

javascript is not enabled in opera 9.5 beta, and flash lite 2.1 doesnt support flv
either download the opera 9.5 build 1938 and install flash lite 3.1, or use the youtube app
@chink
mine is working now, maybe you should try yours

I also have the same problem with the youtube application not being able to connect, saying that there are "No Videos". I believe that this error started after I installed flash lite 3.1 and Opera 9.5 build 1938. I reverted back to build 1522 but can't figure out how to revert to the previous version of Flash Lite without a hard reset.

How did you manage to get it working? I can watch youtube videos on youtube application but not on opera 9.5 1938
i never had any issues with the youtube application, played my videos fine...
I had the same about one week ago. No change after restoring the registry, after hard reset everything worked fine.
My YouTube app started working again a few days ago, without any changes on my part. Could it be that the service itself is flaky at times?
I am not using a proxy server anymore. Before that I had the same problem of not finding any video.
I had a problem using the YouTube app with TMobile. I had to do two things to fix it:
1. Disable the TMobile proxy
2. TMobile has a block on certain websites that may be 'adult' in nature/content. I had to get TMobile to disable this before YouTube worked. I found out about this by visiting YouTube from Opera and getting redirected to a TMobile page with instructions on how to remove the content lock

YouTube- Connection failed?
Hey all,
I just got the Fuze yesterday (i still kind of miss my Wizard ).
I've been having the "Connection Failed" error when trying to use the YouTube application. I wonder if it's content being blocked? AT&T hides the app since they have no parental controls, so I'm curious to find out an answer.
My old phone didn't use a data plan, so I have MediaNet, brand-new with my phone. I haven't cooked my Fuze yet, so i'm on the original ROM.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
------------------Edit:
Hey, I fixed it. HTC Fuze comes loaded with .NET framework v.2.0, so I just needed to upgrade to .NET framework 3.5. And that's why advanced config wasn't installing too!

If got both the 2.0 and 3.5 frameworks installed but still no connection. Advanced config works so I know the 3.5 framework is intact. Anyone think it would help to install the upgrade files from this site on it?
Last night I tried to play a video on my phone with Coreplayer (v1.5) and whilst it used to work perfectly and play videos REALLY well, it was now awful quality. Was as if the settings for video had reset to default so I tried changing them (smoothing and GDI or Directdraw output) but it keeps making the program crash when I try this, or immediately afterwards.
I've reinstalled Coreplayer (tried 1.3 and 1.5) and it just keeps crashing when I change the output settings, except for once when it let me change them but was still very jerky video, and then it crashed anyway a couple of seconds later. This is using video files that HAVE played fine in the past.
I've removed S2U2 again and rebooted as I had just installed it the day before, then reinstalled Coreplayer again and still get the same issues. It just seems incapbale of playing video properly now for some reason. I know the settings that work well for it as I did have it working perfectly before, but it just crashes now if I try changing them.
I can't think of anything else that I've added recently which may cause this. Not sure what else to check but there must be something I've changed on the phone that's caused this?
Videos work well if I play them by double tapping them in Total Commander, but silly as it sounds I don't know what player this is using to play them! It's not wmp anyway.
Looks like an HTC player maybe but I can't find an actual video player in winmo apart from WMP. There must be a place in the start menu somewhere for this player but I can't find it. It's not in the Multimedia folder in the start menu either so I'm confused!
Annoying because I'm halfway through a film this morning and after going back to home screen, I now don't know how to resume playback without restarting and trying to find the place I was at.
Any ideas? I've looked at other coreplayer related threads but they all seem to be along the lines of just the output settings being wrong and I got no results when I searched for the words coreplayer & crash.
When did 1.5 release?!?! Let me check....
BTW, what ROM are you on? Cooked or Official??
Oops! Sorry, I meant to write 1.3.2 and 1.3.5!!!
My bad.
I'm using the 1.61 official turkish rom.
You sure it is 1.5? Can't find a hint anywhere!
Duh.. ok, try the 1.3.6 yet?
Thought I was the only one to see this problem, though it did occur with previous HTC devices and Coreplayer for me. Occasionally the database file (Application Data\Coreplayer\library.db) seems to get corrupted (I think when Coreplayer is running, you attach the device to a PC in USB disk mode and say yes to a prompted database rebuild). If you delete the library.db file with File Explorer or an equivalent program. it should rebuild it OK. Quite annoyingly, this file doesn't get deleted when Coreplayer is uninstalled, so an uninstall/reinstall doesn't resolve this.
Touch HD (Blackstone)
Rom: Dutty 6.1
I've spent several frustrating weeks now trying to get coreplayer to work properly.
Either the video playback is really choppy with frames frequently dropped or the video is out of sync with the audio.
I've gone through loads of configuration suggestions that I've found online, Before each test I've reset the settings to default by clearing out the config.xml file.
I've gone through the following Roms, in case it could be Rom related
Kwbr_Topix_3.5.10_Sense2.5_WM6.5
TOPIX_Kwbr_Win 6.5_Ver_21877_TouchFLO3D 2.1.38411.0
RUU_Duttys_HD_V3.9 _XT_Turbo_5.2.21051.1.6.4_1.59.709.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.14.25.24_V2.1
I've tested the wmv file on the phone memory to confirm it wasnt an issue with the speed of the storage card.
I've contacted coreplayer and submitted a ticket... All I got back from them was an automated response a week later saying my ticket had been closed.
Id also like to try setting up Coreplayer v1.3.5, where can I get a version to install?
Does anyone have any other suggestions as to how I can get coreplayer to work?
Thanks
I've received my gTablet about 2 weeks ago and I *LOVE* it!
I rooted it, modded it (Cyanogen Mod beta 5 / Android 2.3.1), name it!
Everything went fine (ok, maybe not the first time, but I fixed everything).
I've got Flash 10.1, full Market, fixed the audio problem with "audiofix.apk" and EVERYTHING now works perfectly... except for one thing:
I an unable to playback any AVI (DivX) video, but I *was* able last week, before upgrading to Gingerbread (or at least, before applying one of the patches/updates/ROMs), with Twonky, among other things...
Today, I've installed arcMedia and another one (don't remember which, but I uninstalled it anyway) to no avail.
In fact, the SOUND in the video file starts for about half second (or less) and then the file closes itself (but not the player).
NO avi (DivX) video will play on my tablet and I don't know why. I've Googled a bit to no avail (aside from this site, not many sites talk about the gTablet).
I'm pretty new to all this modding thing, but should I (*can* I ?) install codecs? Should I start from scratch? (hopefully not)
Thank you for your help!
Try Vital player from the market.
Same problem occurs! Screen seems to flash once as if the video is about to start, then nothing! (And in Vital Player, I get the "All codecs are included" message box after it does that).
I think it's a problem with gingerbread, it's not quite there yet for the gtab.
Try not using the awful Bittrix build, it breaks a bunch of things when he tries to fix something else. Try beta 1 CM7, my videos work fine in RockPlayer.
Will do and will let you know.
Thank you very much!
Cleared cache (not data/factory reset), then installed CM7 Beta01 over Beta05and everything went fine, but the problem was NOT solved.
I think I might have to start all over again and ONLY install Beta01...?
Ok, I've cleared Data (Factory Reset) and installed VEGAn beta 5.1 instead.
I hate having a lot less icons on my home screen, but at least EVERYTHING works... Sound, Video, Market, Flash... A charm!
Keep up the good work, guys!
You can put icons on your home screen. Just hold down finger on icon and it will move.

ADW or ADW_EX will allow you to have up to a 10 x 10 icon arrangement on your home screens
Mine is current 8 x 8, and even with that many I find no real need for extra homescreens, I'm only using 3 screens now because I ran out of widgets to put up for now *lol*
@goog64 : I know how to move icons... ;-) I just didn't know how to increase the "grid" to accept MORE icons under VEGAn, I thought it was because of Froyo. My bad.
@ ALL : Over the past week, I have played a LOT with VEGAn and CyanogenMod and I simply *CANNOT* playback any video with CyanogenMod!
I just don't get it... I use the same players (Vital Player, arcMedia...), but they just won't play any video!
I'm switching back to VEGAn for the time being...
Thank you for your help, everybody!
Update : I've installed ROCK PLAYER LITE and it *does* play my videos!
How come arcMedia and Vital Player were unable? (I was told Vital Player had MOST if not ALL required codecs!!)
Formatted by SD card, and flashed Infused 1.5.1 (a completely clean install). Installed infused kernel on it (latest) after ROM install.
Everything works, but no video playback at all.
In youtube, every single video tries to load, then shows "There was a problem while playing, touch to retry).
In video player - can't play any videos at all, even those that I shot with the phone. Says "Sorry, this video cannot be played".
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling youtube app, rebooting (doh)... Nothing helps.
It seems as if all my video codecs are just missing or something..
I do have Flash installed. Music is working fine, rings are working, voice/calling is working. Only videos don't work anywhere.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: 1.5.1 Infusion Kernel does that. Reverting to 1.5.0 fixes the problem.
Moderator, you can close this thread if you wish..

There is no Infused 1.5.1, only 1.5.0.
Do you mean Infusion kernel? If you had bothered to read the kernel thread you'd know that the "speedmod" memory tweaks included in Infusion 1.5.1 caused a LOT of problems including breaking playback, which is why speedmod was reverted almost immediately.
Not sure if this is the same as your problem, but a lot of folks got that error message after installing the official twitter app.
When I used to get that message, videos would work for a little while after booting. After uninstalling twitter, I have had no problems.

Yeah I meant the infusion kernel. You don't have to be so hostile - I didn't read 29 pages of that thread, and local search doesn't work today.
Thank you though, that indeed fixed the problem. I see that he posted a 1.5.0 reverted version, and it does fix the problem.

Thank you, but I never installed twitter app. I did find that it's a potential fix for playback, but not in my case. In my case it was the broken infusion kernel 1.5.1.
