I'm considering getting a Blackberry Curve. Does anyone know where I can get tweaks and hacks for it? It will be through Verizon.

Just wondering what iphone theme apps etc are being used in this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IykgGs_pK5c&NR=1
I have some of this working on my trinity but not looking like this yet. Any help appreciated.
Also, what skin is that for mortplayer?
Cheers
That is one nice theme. I sure hope someone can make one like that for the HTC Universal.
you can get it from this guy. Although you have to email him and ask for it due to apples lawyers.

He's charging $25 for it...
Looks like each app takes a while to load. I have seen some better iPhone WA2/WA3 skins/themes.
Guys, do you think that trading my HTC Dream for a Blackberry Storm is a good idea? What do you suggest?
As I'm a HTC, HP(iPAQ and Jornada) and Palm fan I'm going to say no, but let someone that have more experience on both to say
If it was me, I wouldn't do it. IMO, the Blackberry Storm's OS doesn't look as promising as Android, and there's also a lot less hacking potential compared to the Dream. But what things I want from a device (hackability, big community, XDA support, QWERTY keyboard) may not be what you want in a device, so you should keep that in mind when deciding.
Don't do it, the bold 2 is unproven, stay with htc/xda...especially with what droids are on the horizon!

Same here!
Don trade it
Yeah but my Dream continues to disconnect when I'm trying to connect to the internet or it doesn't catch the signal after I put it in my pocket so I need to restart it. That's why I want to change it! I'm tired of waiting for a new RADIO update
Why don't you ask for support?
I've already asked for it but no results
Humm, that's not good
Why you don't sell it and buy another, or a better one?
Does anyone know when CM7 will be released for the Samsung Galaxy S 4G?

Not polite to ask when something will be done or released. A couple very talented individuals are working on it. When they are done it will be released. Have patience.

I know exactly when it'll be done. Give me $1000 and I'll tell you exactly one year from now when it will be/was released.

Well, we have to consider many things.
First and most importantly, Google just acquired Motorola's mobile phones division for $12.5 billion. That means that they are gonna be a major hardware manufacturer and the phones that they make will probably be able to handle Android better than the rest of the competition.
Also, don't forget that 2011 is the year of the rabbit. The rabbit is a swift little creature and it doesn't like to get caught.
If we compare cyanogemod to the rabbit, and then compare that to google's purchase of Moto's mobile division, then we can clearly see that there's no connection between any of these things.
So long story short, yes, we still don't know. We're all just sitting tight.
sad part is once they get cm7 they will want something else lol
I'm hoping for a MIUI released right after that

That does seem to be the way the world works these days, right? I rofl at people with a sense of entitlement.
Honestly, does it really even matter right now when CM7 will be released? Seemingly every day our wonderful developers are releasing new ROM's. Pick one, love it, and live with it. Or pick a few and love them!

Very understandable. In the time I've been with this forum, I've seen a lot of that going on and it's ridiculous. Internet browsers should pop up a notice saying "Don't forget the search feature!" when somebody opens a new tab or window lol
I'd hate to see you go, also. It would be a loss for us!
Just checked and it said the guy working on the port still needs a kernel
Hey everyone,
Tonight I used my phone upgrade and upgraded to the Atrix HD. It's been nice knowing all of you guys here in the forums, and I'm certainly going to miss you. (the ones I like anyway.... )
Big thanks to the developers in this community for putting in so much hard work for this phone. You have been wonderful to all of us. :good:
Cheers mate, best of luck to you!

Gutsy is how I roll. Plus the Atrix HD really competes with the high end devices since it has the same Snapdragon S4 as the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC One X. Ran a Quadrant benchmark test and pulled a 4,750 without any real customizations yet. Also, this display...truly gorgeous, one to behold!

Really? Was that needed?
I'ts a classic "pun". I don't think it needs to be taken out of context.
So let's not start something, that isn't there to begin with

While you're still in return time look at the Sony Xperia Ion. Screen and camera makes Note, OneX etc look like a joke!

In all seriousness though, I have nothing against anyone and am more than happy to still help you guys out here with any questions/problems you might have. Feel free to shoot me a PM whenever.
You're leaving us just as I have updated the OP of my guide thread for n00bs! I was going to include you in the directory of Senior Members for the A2 forums, but now you're boating on us...
Anyhow, good luck with the new phone, I hope everything works out for you, and that you really enjoy it!

Apex,
You're more than welcome to add my name to the list anyway in case anyone has questions/problems. I may not have the phone anymore, but I would still be more than happy to help out in any way that I can.

Okay, I'll put you on the directory. I may have to "tiny url" up some links, as I'm pushing the 30,000 character limit on this one!
Torn between hijacking a thread and cluttering up the main page with a new one - chose the hijack. I'm so sorry, MagicXB!
I also am leaving, after such a short time here! Speaking of the Xperia ion, that's the one I am going with. AT&T finally got tired of throwing A2's my way to fix my reception problems and gave me a free warranty upgrade. I chose the ion for a lot of reasons, and I think I'll be happy with it.
I got really into following the community here and have been excited to follow the projects that are ongoing. The dev community here is excellent, and I'm convinced good things will be around for this phone for awhile. Unfortunately, with AT&T getting rid of support for this phone, I feel like you'll see people like me dropping off - they won't have any more A2's to give out!
Thank you all for your help and time.

Going with the Xperia Ion seems to be quite risky to me. The hardware itself looks quite beautiful but it launched with Gingerbread onboard, and in this day and age of countless phones coming out I would be worried about it even seeing ICS (much less anything after that).
To be honest, I obsessed over this decision for awhile. The One X was my main competitor, but I don't like not having expandable storage, and I've had really bad experiences with HTC phones before. The Atrix HD is pretty, but it just didn't feel right to me. And the Galaxy S3 looks like a cheap piece of plastic from my childhood and I hate the Samsung UI (not to mention the off chance that Apple manages to run Samsung into the ground).
ICS is great, but it's not everything. Sony has been really good about updating older phones to ICS and I have no doubt this one will get it soon enough. And if it doesn't, the Sony UI incorporates some of the more important elements of ICS already. I think it's a really nice phone, well made and I'm hoping I'll enjoy it. That said, I'm sure there are more than enough people here who think I'm insane, lol .

Sorry.
