This is great if it works. Has anyone out there been able to get Clear to allow the HTC Wimax 4g phone on their wimax network? Please post! I'm using this network on my laptop and also on a portable router in Portland, Oregon. It's great!
These ROMs are working in Russian carrier Yota (they also give Wimax)

The US carrier Clearwire tested this ROM Quartz Clearwire US 1.09.1000.5 Radio Quartz 1.13.25.24 and it works good
You should flash ROM only your carrier because different ROMs have different WiMax certificates
im in New York USA, would i be able to use this rom?
The big question for those of us living in USA Wimax citys is does anyone know how U.S. residents can buy this Wimax phone?

www.negrielectronics.com say they will get in July. If you can use it on US Wimax networks is an other matter. I have no idea.

HTC Touch HD---"HTC Max 4G. Will the HD work on the 4G network? NO! Will the Max 4G work on the 4G network? Yes! That's what it is made for. They are two completly different phones.

The rom posted is not for the Blackstone. It is for the HTC max 4G. If you try it on a Blackstone you just might end up with a broken Blackstone.

I don't really know either. My guess is because there is so little interest in Wimax (Too Bad. I wish there were more wimax networks and devices.) and also because the HD and the Max 4G are very simular... same screen, same chip set ect.

Not absolutely so - chip set of Blackstone (Touch HD, T8282) and Quartz (MAX 4G, T8290) are different:
on BlackStone - Quallcom 7201A with support 3G and without Wimax
on Quartz - Quallcom 7206 with support Mobile Wimax (aka 4G) and without 3G

It won't work on HD. Your device just warn you that this rom for other device and you can't flash it.

I entered the S/N of my Vodafone AU 32B however the webpage said the download is "not available for your device", I assume this is a 32A update.
Any chance of a backport to 32B?
Nobody has been able to download the update, not even the users with 32A. I know cuse i tried

If your in the UK, it's most likely you have a Vodafone-branded HTC Magic. MyTouch 3G is the US T-Mobile branding for the HTC Magic.
However, both the MyTouch 3G & the Vodafone HTC Magic have one thing in common - they're both 32B. Trying to use that RUU will brick your phone.
I know what I have. It is the MyTouch 3G branded T-Mobile. I bought it and had it shipped from US.
This has been confirmed for 32A with Perfect SPL

Hopefully some nice dev will do a 32B port. I guess HTC don't think the 32B with its' decreased amount of RAM is an ideal platform for Sense.

I'm pretty sure it's 32B only anyway (although it's the official German release and the only Magic you can get here is 32B)

The Sense update is only for 32A. However it would probably installa a perfect SPL, so I suggest you not to install it.

didnt work for my MyTouch 3G
This ROM should problably be for the Sapphire- without google.
The German Magic are VF Poineer (with google or GEP)- so this SN doesn`t work and also probably the update itself.
In Switzerland and Austria you can get the "without google". these one are the korrekt ones for the download.

i have a problem with the roms here in this forum. I use a German Version of the HTC Touch pro and i dont know if my phone is a GSM or a CDMA Version. In the Website of HTC are there both listed. GSM and WCDMA. I have try to flash any Energy, Teal and SKIROM Roms but without success. Is there any trick to flash these roms or what do i wrong.
I would like to flash a MaxSense Rom in German if this is possible. Can you help me?

Hi, I'm new here and i recently got a HTC touch pro. Its locked to IDEA cellular network and i got it unlocked.
Currently its running HTC rom.
Rom: 1.95.720.6 WWE
Radio Version: 1.13.25.24
Protocol: 52.62.25.34G
Its also printed as RAPH410 under the battery.
I would like to install a new rom on this, Freya or Tael or something cooler than HTC 3d touch FLO.
Please advice which rom should i use and is this model 3G capable?
And can i have dual boot (windows and android)?

You have to hspl your device, look in the rom sub forum for that
