I have an imate jasjar & have upgraded it to WM6. When my device is tuned off & someone tries to call me, it doesn't ring or show the coller number before the 4th or 5th ring whereas everything acts normally when the device is on... can anyone help me with that issue

Detalis please? without telling us what rom you're running, G3 or G4, IPL/SPL, etc, we have no way of helping you.

Hmmm... does anyone have any further information about this build? I'm interested to know how the "1.81.710.1" relates to Dutty's 5.2.1921 / 20000.7.0 WM6/CE?? According to the phone, I'm running 1.57.x.x but surely its a huge leap to 1.81.x.x ??
And I've only just got my Kaiser working well here in Australia on the Vodafone network... oh well, another flash coming up

I just put this on my Tytn and the ROM is more speedier than the Three ROM that came on my device.

Bought mine outright from 3 a couple of days ago, and my
ROM version is 1.81.861.0 WWE

Moby thats the version for Three only.
The One I posted is for generic optus/voda etc.

I have the same question. maybe i will flash it for a bit and test it out tonight. i doubt it will be any better. propbably just a different extended rom.

After i flashed this rom and used it for a few minutes it doesn't seem to have anything new. The graphics performance as i expected is the same which non existent.
Going back to Dutty's Rom

The reason I want separate SMS/MMS is that way I can install the Palm Threaded SMS application and still have MMS available.
The Palm threaded stuff doesn't work for MMS.
So even though I pretty much never use MMS ; I like the idea that it still works on my phone, should I ever need it

Help: Magician Upgrade - Version Query :(

Hi All!
I was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction, or beat me with a stick if needed.
I have an O2 XDA II Mini, and it's an Australian one.
I'm currently running:
ROM Version: 1.11.00 WWE
ROM Date: 03/14/05 - Woah
Radio Version: 1.11.00
Protocol Version 1337.42
ExtROM version 1.11.922.WWE
Basically I'd like to flash my phone to the latest, but don't need the Big Rom storage, but basically just after the newest firmware (not 2 year old crap)
Does anyone know how I would go about just upgrading the basic firmware of my phone? It's been playing up lately, so I'm hoping an update may fix it.

You are being told that you should have used HARDSPL before installing a new ROM.
You were told to READ THE WIKI - it will get you out of where you are at the moment and fix your problem.

You seem to have trouble conveying your problem.
Read the Wiki and you will find the issue of a white screen with hard spl.
The procedure is well documented.
Troubleshooting
Posting here is not going to solve your problem. If you have trouble understanding the wiki, then I suggest you find someone who can help read it with you one on one.

Be Patient
...and just read the wiki, right now it seems to be the only sound advice you can get right now. nobody is going to give you a phone step by step procedure.

I had the white screen as well - I read the WIKI - I did the HARDSPL like it says. I then flashed a new ROM and it worked.
So - what EXACTLY do you need?
Have you read the WIKI?
Have you installed the HARDSPL?
Are you STILL having an issue? If so - what is your issue?

There was a specific question asked - HAVE YOU INSTALLED HARDSPL?
If yes then in boot loader mode you should have OLIPOF showing. Do you?
If not and you are getting a white screen then follow the directions for the Whitescreen on the WIKI.

If I understand you correctly, then I think I can end the confusion.
Problem Summary:
You had an original shipped version of WM6 on your phone. You downloaded and flashed the official HTC WM 6.1 version. For whatever reason you want to revert back to WM6 but cannot because of the "Invalid Vendor ID" error.
If I got this right, then here are the steps you need to follow:
A) Flash HardSPL to your phone using the process outlined for phones with the "white screen"
B) Flash the original WM6 ship ROM you downloaded
C) Follow the instructions for removing HardSPL and returning your device to its original SPL.
Now please check the Wiki and the stickies in the Kaiser sections for the instructions on how to complete these steps. I am not trying to flame you, but you NEED to do this on your own. It is NOT difficult.

Bizzare problem with Kaiser WM6.1

Deal all,
I am a relative newbee at all this, but I have read the forums extensively and decided to flash my ROM after a HTC ****-up that left it using Polish language WM6.1 (long story).
I followed all the steps from Flashing Your First Kaiser Rom (For Noobs) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=433835) to the letter. Then I flashed StockKaiser WM6.1 and afterwards Phoenix 3.1. I was too used to the old style of ROM, so then I reverted back to KaiserStock 6.1.
I have this bizzare problem now - the phone works fine, that is, until someone calls me. I answer, there is no sound, and after that the entire device is mute, no sound at all, playing music, videos or whatever.
This is my config:
ROM version: 3.34.721.2 WWE (date 09/30/08)
Radio version: 1.71.OliNex
Protocol version: 25.65.30.04H
Any help would be most appreciated guys, please!

I would try a different radio rom. Probably installing the stock rom also installed an old radio rom. I had same problem and this was the fix.

hmmm, ok, will do

You have the radio required for the unlocker. Just flash a new Radio and you'll be fine .
EDIT: any more problems, just post mskips guide.
