Same error. Thanks though. You got my hopes up I was like YESSS its some special version that works!.....lol
Exact same error?? That is interesting. Definitely flashing a Kaiser, correct?? (you know, always have to ask the basic questions. )
Also, which kitchen are you using and what errors did you have? This error seems like your not HardSPL'd or there was an error with the deviceID or modelID. Hopefully, we can get you squared away.
lmao of course a kaiser =] Kareems kitchen and all the errors there i fixed on my own No my device is hardspl and all that good stuff. Idk what the deal is.
What were the issues that you fixed? How did you go about them? I looked at your other thread and from the screenshot it looked like you might have been missing visual c runtimes. Normally, you don't have to change anything with the kitchens (except for personalization). I suggest trying another kitchen (mbarvian has a nice one) and see how that goes.
My kitchen works fine. I just need to flash my roms to test. And I like my kitchen just fine =]
Btw. I installed updates for all the .net frameworks. Solved it.

So you did get the 200 error fixed, correct? Just making sure. Or are you referring to how you fixed the other errors?
I fixed the KITCHEN errors. I still Have the 200 error with the RUU update utility. >.<
maybe you want to try a stock rom install with the oem kaiser ruu and see if you still get a similar error... not sure if you already tried that!
Stock ROMS do not install over a Hardspl device as far as I know. I dont want to do that either thanks though.
I'm going to keep searching for you. Hold tight.

Actually, stock ROMs will still install on a HardSPL'd device. The HardSPL essentially disables the check that the update utility performs to make sure that the ROM is genuinely signed.
Trying to flash a stock ROM would be a good idea as well, or even a build that you have made that you know works and is flashable. This will help determine if it's a problem with the utility, or if there happened to be a wierd error whilst building your recent ROM.
EDIT #2: This is the only thing I could find relating to your specific error:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1217789&postcount=58
Umm Alright. The error suggests it the utility. Hmm alright i may try a stock rom...keep searching thanks so much!!!!!
yeah, I figured trying to start another version different from the custom ruu will let you know whether its the utility or some missing dll's issue.
I don't mean to budge in since I don't know much about these things!

really weird...phone is booting up now and Bluetooth automatically came on? Never seen that before. Performing hard reset after flash...hopefully solves the problem.

Can one of you Gurus write a quick radio flashing tutorial, I've been reading and I can't seem to figure out where the radio flash fits into the equation.
The file for a radio flash is much smaller than the file for a ROM flash but when it is opened it appears that it would over write the ROM when installed through Hard SPL

Anyone posting on a message board obviously can read. Thank You for the useless comment.
Thank you for the link, however I have seen the link posted via the stickied thread, before I made the post. It is WHY I made the post.
When the radio was flashing it went to 95% then froze into recovery mode and would not allow HardSPL to run and also would not reinstall the ROM. I ended up
reinstalling Duttys V4.
I wanted a quick tutorial to make sure I did every thing right and to determine what the cause of the freeze was so I don't brick my phone
Alltheway is right. Ok now I will go into the search function. That situation has been asked many times, and answered many times.

1. Download HardSPL v1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334679
2. Install HardSPL: check persianowns Kaiser HardSPL Walkthrough Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaCt5pUn6iI
3. Download the Radio of Your choice: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=349375
4. Install Radio: Just like installing a ROM or HardSPL double click on the Kaiser_RUU.exe file and follow the on sceen instructions.
5. Pat on the back! You are done!

Alltheway is right that I could have read the same thing again and hoped for a different result. Insane. At the same time that he is "right", he is equally foolish to come to the board and give a suggestion on how I could have made better use of my time. He clearly took time out of his day to host/post his Samuel Jackson GIF and think of such a witty bit of information to add along with it, when he could have simply explained the process involved.
The situation you are referring to that I could have searched about (install freeze), was already taken care of yesterday so Thanks.
ser00405, Thank You thats all that I needed. If the radio install show occur exactly like a ROM install, my process is correct and I believe that there is something wrong with the radio RAR.
I'll admit, I'm a newb here although I prowled for a long time before registering. I bought a Kaiser earlier in the year and previously had a Hermes but never did any sort of ROM loading until recently. I was a little hesitant about loading a ROM by myself the first time so I asked for help from a friend who's very knowledgeable.
Everything went fine and he loaded up Duty's current ROM and it worked awesome. The only thing was that my phone wasn't unlocked even though I know we ran through the KaiserUnlocker.EXE.
Feeling confident, I did my friends phone and loaded up the HyperDragon III ROM and it worked perfectly (didn't check to see if it's SIM unlocked though). I liked the ROM so I flashed mine as well and it worked fine. Wanting to have mine SIM unlocked I followed the instructions for SIM unlocking and ran the KaiserUnlocker.EXE and that's where I started having problems.
Everything seemed to have gone smoothly until I put in my SIM and I get this window.

Ran through the KaiserUnlocker.EXE again and now I'm getting this message.
Followed by.
I ran through it again following the instructions and still getting the KaiserUnlocker windows telling me it cannot connect. I was running this all on a Vista machine so on the advice of my friend I tried it through my WinXP computer and still running into the same problem.
Any suggestions on what I can try next?
Are you sure you used a kaiser unlocker? That picture is a diamond or other newer phone.
The kaiser unlocker has a picture of a kaiser.

Thanks for the response guys. I downloaded the unlocker from the sticky thread on the top of this forum. I'm sure it's the right one as the file name I ran was KaiserUnlocker.exe. If you have something different I can try I'll be more than happy to give it a go. Thanks.

Sorry, I wasnt try to be mean, kinda sounded that way though! Your right though, that is the unlocker from the top! Did you Hard Spl profs 1.0 before trying to unlock? And taking out the battery and unpluging the USB are very important! It worked great for me! Try reading the whole thread if you havent yet, there are different things and methods that have work for other people listed there!

I too apologize. The unlocker has been revised since I used it last....Please make sure you do follow the steps exactly. I have done several phones with no issues..but the disconnect reconnect sequence is key.
Guys, I certainly didn't take any offense to the responses and I appreciate any advice you guys can give. I haven't really had any time to mess with it but I'm off tomorrow so I'll give it another try using the unlocker. HardSPL was already done when I installed the Dutty's ROM.

I'll be around. Post if you get stuck or need help.
We believe we are near ready to ship our incredible/evo solution to security off. Note this means you would have TRUE subradio level security off, and no matter what hboot/radio you flashed this would remain unless you purposely ran the command to reenable. We need a few people to help test slowly so we don't mass release and run into issues. We need folks at various levels of hboot/radio/rom, but the big thing is don't be afraid to loose your data or even brick. It's possible. Though we have not seen a permabrick yet from this. Truthfully, in the entire line of work we've done, there has only been ONE unrecoverable brick. And based on new knowledge that one might even have been fixable.
If interested, please join freenode channel #xxxxxxxxxxxxr to test... First 2-3 people only. Thanks!
EDIT: We are done for the night. It's looking good. We had 4 of 4 tests perfectly successful and rooted. Expect a full release soon unless something comes up! Stay tuned to http://www.unrevoked.com/forever

1. I'm NOT a dev, but could sprint etc ever give an OTA which would run a script to reenable??
2. For the testers are you looking for unrooted users only? (I thought Matt said it would only work for those already unrooted.)

Good question, yes there is ONE thing that could reenable this. But I don't think they'd use it as it would mess up all true testing phones out on the market. And this requires a custom recovery that can run unsigned zip's. That's about it.
Thanks guys your work is amazing and WOW how easy can it get? MANY MANY MANY thanks this worked on my 2.1 rooted and was able to immediately upgrade to 2.2 without an issue with root of course.
And as well it work flawlessly on my already rooted and upgraded to 2.2 evo

Did not have the pri...
Phone must ALREADY be ROOTED so as far as I have read if you rooted you dont have the 1.4pri
I thought the PRI was tied to the Hboot though? If this actually installs the current stock Hboot (79.0000) shouldn't your PRI be 1.40?

Thanks for your help mate.
for what its worth, the other rom posted also isnt working. maybe its our CWM? it backups and restores fine, but i dont think anything has been tested as far as flashing.
no cwm works fine, its just the roms themselves. hes getting status 0 because he has an old update-binary in there.
however you do need to be careful because the other rom (who im guessing was also using dsixdia's kitchen) was trying to use an update-script (which hasnt been able to be used since CWM 3.0, we are on 5.5.0.4 now... cwm 3.0 was out with froyo).
if you want proof of that go find something like the v6 supercharger script and flash that, or any of the many many flashable things that wont screw up your system (here is a really good one i recommend its a REALLY nioce anti theft app) or heck look in your own general section for a man that took some time making toggles for you guys http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1620918 he seems to have it flashing through cwm.
the common denominator isnt cwm, its people using rom kitchens :/ if you want to use them to speed things along thats fine, really it is... however if your starting off and thats all you use then when things go wrong (like this or the other rom thread) you dont know how to fix it because you didnt learn on how things work.. just what options make your phone go zoom zoom! please dont take this as a bashing, but more of a "the more you know" kinda **** if your serious about rom development then pick up and learn.

QFT. It's best to learn the basics first, and go from there. Kitchens are bad news - don't use them, ever preferably, and at least not until you get the basics down. You'll have troubles otherwise.
