Any help ... with my HTC TYTN II- Kaiser , especially duttythroy

Hi …
i got my Pocket pc (HTC TYTN II- Kaiser ) before 2 weeks ago . And I updated it with Dutty's Hybrid Rom NO.3.
now I had a major problem with my HTC TYTN II- Kaiser. My problem is when I receive a call and I answer that call , my phone convert my call automatically to Speaker for 1 second and back to normal. Guess if you r in meeting and u want to answer and other party open music or something .I think that will put u in bad situation.
Any way … I hope any one can help me with that strange problem .. I don’t want that converting happen .it must be normal. If I want load speaker I have to change not automatically !
Btw .. I re-download the rom again and the problem back again …

No issues with that problem from anyone or from me regarding this bug.
I suggesst you install a factory rom including the original radio that cam with your device and see if the problem occur, sounds like a radio issue.

I am Beginner in that type of smart phone. Can u give me the original rom or how I can back to original rom + also u mentioned the radio from where I can get the original radio..

I have the same problem with the Dutty rom. I also had the problem with the original rom and radio.

Well, there you are then, it's a Radio issue..

Wifi Not working with windows 6 on T-Mobile MDA

Hi,
I have upgraded my MDA to Windows Mobile 6. After the upgrading I am not able to enable Wifi on my MDA. When I click on Wlan icon, it is not turning green. Looks like some set up is messed up.
I have upgraded to SNE No evil version of the RAM.
Please help.

Probably the bug in sne no evil rom. Flash it again and report. Make hard reset first.Hope u find the problem.

The problem solved
Thanks for the clue. After hard resetting, I am able to connect using WiFi.
I am wondering how can I use Internet calling feature?. It says the service is blocked.

I have htc p3600 i downgrade rom from wm6.5 to 1.23 official from htc site but after finished I found the Wi-Fi no working i tried to make hard reset but still the Wi-Fi not Working please help

Is that the latest update for HTC Trinity? If not try to get the latest one... if that`s the latest one, than please reflash it... Next time be more carefull where you post...

Phone freezing, dont think its spl issue

I have flashed winmo 6.5 on my phone. I have radio version 1.70. I have hard spl version 3.29 flashed. I did flash a stock HTC rom to my tilt before flashing shifu's 4.0 rom to my phone. I did do a master reset on my phone also.
The problem is every once in a while my phone freezes or hangs severely. It seems to happen only when I access messaging. It only does it occasionally. When my phone freezes it will either hang for five or more minutes but I can stil access the start menu, or it freezes completly and I have to yank the battery.
I have tried different 6.5 roms from different people all with the same results. I have also tried doing numerous hard resets. I have tried disabling 3g and hspda. Im kind of confused as to what to try next. I would like to keep 6.5 but this problem is getting old.
I also have a coworker that has a wing that I unlocked and she is using on the ATT network as well with 6.5 and hard spl to. She has the exact same issue.
Any help would be great.

Had the same issues with several 6.5-roms myself.
Experienced a lot of freezes and sometime it could not be resolved without reset.
Several times a soft reset has become a hard reset.
I always has flashed stock rom before a new flash.
I need my phone to work well, so yesterday I went back to a fast 6.1 rom (G's DK10final),
and at least for now the phone seems much more stable and responsive, and works well with all applications .

just same typicaL probLem witH me.. I used siFu 4.0 WM6.5 and it GettinG Freeze at the menu option.. and tHen I FLasHed it usinG uLtimate X2 V.11 WM6.5 and same probLem Hit me as weLL.. SO i decided to FLasH it usinG stock ROM WM6.1 ( OriGinaL Version tHat i Got From HTC website ).. aFter it FinisHed tHen i FLasH my kaiser usinG siFu V.19 WM6.1.. and it run weLL and stabLe in my Tytn.. So, is WM6.5 is uncompatibLe witH my tytn..? Hmm... i wonder.. i don't know.. FYI i usinG SPL 3.29 Hard2 and Radio 1.70.19.09..

Thanks for the answers guys. I havnt been able to find an answer to this issue. I did my coworkers phone as well that is having the same issue but she has a wing. I am also using hardspl 3.29 and radio 1.70 as well. I've been contemplating going back to ATT's stock rom minus ATT crap. I guess tonight I will be doing that. Ill post result on here for archive purposes in a couple days in case anyone else has this issue and stumbles on this thread.

I have been, both ATT and HTC stock before flashing. No help. Also did hard resets after stock flashes two before flashing 6.5 and after flashing 6.5.

It nice to HeLp you mate.. It suck wHen u Got a probLem and nobody HeLp you at aLL.. Just wHat i experience LateLy touGH.. T_T.. I use WM6.1 modiFied ROM and i pLeased witH it peFormance ( tHanks to siFu tHat created tHis ROM^^ ) and i am not try to upGRade it witH WM6.5 stock ROM 'cause i'm to Lazy to experience same probLem aGain >.< stuck is suck dude.. ^^

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum
I have an HTC polaris with 6.1 installed. I never flashed the ROM, is there any tutorial around?
Now how can I update it to 6.5 and port my contacts and my notes?
What ROM would you suggest me for easier installation, reliability and speed?

for flash look on my thread under steps...there is all you need
->if you want not my rom but another flash another...it´s always your choice what you flash
-> but the way you must do...is on my thread under steps
edit:
flash:
0. flash hard spl
1. first original rom and hard reset (hold the two left and right buttons on the bottom + stylus reset) if you see the calibration screen
2. rom of your choice.. also with hard reset
3. radio (soft reset comes automatic)....not a must have....but if you have little freeze

how do I backup all my contacts, and possibly also my calendar and notes please?

wifi it´s not a problem of megan rom its a known problem that come sometimes if you flash...hard reset maybe new flash will solve the problem....
you must know what you will flash...megan rom ( thanks salvy... )is a classic wm 6.5 rom...with startmenu on top...
my is a new style wm 6.5.X rom with startmenu on bottom...i really like this...because it´s more fingerfriendly...
and yes flash the original rom +hard reset if you see the calibration screen and flash eg. my rom....
look at my thread under steps post 2....the rom you flash is your choice but the way is always the same

what's the difference between the lite one and the "standard" of your ROM? you didn't mentioned it in the official post ...

Standard...is a full rom with all programs and games and so on...in the lite i exclude some things like eg..not needed games and programs (m2dc etc) and some sounds to have more free space for eg. spb mobile shell....

I would mention it in the official if I were you cause as it was I was getting the idea that the lite one was faster (less graphics or something)...

thanks also.... (i´m german that was not the problem but i have night shift and i´m not tired at this time) and answer questions is my job here....

HTC Touch HD Not showing very bad display

hi all,
i recently got HTC HD and got involved in flashing ROMs and upgraded to 6.5 like most of people here, but yesterday i downloaded the 6.1 ROM from HTC website, after falshing the ROM, it show very bad colors as if it's 16bit color depth ... please anyone can help me solve this, i'll be greatful
P.S When Flashing 6.5 kwbr or Miri ROMs it works just fine ...

I think Its because you hardspl Olinex 1.56+, the roms by htc are based on previous USPL's in the hard spl thread there should be previous versions of USPL try flashing them then install the stock rom.. But remember if you flash back to a stock USPL you will have to reflash hardspl again..

thanks for the reply, i was abou tot edit the first post coz i found something interesting ... when i boot up my device it shows the bad colors, but then when i press power botton and getting it into sleep mode and wake it up again it shows propper colors ... i guess u r right about USPL, i will try that .. but i have another question, i guess it's OFF TOPIC here, but what you guys suggest WM 6.1 or WM 6.5 ? ....

Depends on what you feel is best:
WM6.1- Speed but pretty darn ugly
WM6.5- Quite speedy now to be honest due to the rom cooks, and finger friendly..
Me personally i like clean wm6.5 roms which are as close to stock as possible but the latest build, but in the end its all down to your taste

Iguess i'll be sticking to KWBR TOPIX 3.5.6 for now ... i tried the Clean ROM from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=634514 ... but honestly i don't like the basic UGLY home screen, so i guess WM 6.5 it is for now ... thaks again for your co-operation and replies

My pleasure, Id reccomend Miris roms, there fast and stable although its discontinued now, what a shame.

I have the latest Miri ROM, you recommand that or TOPIX ? ... honestly i'm so lost with all the ROMs here
