I have a Samsung sgh-i780 with WM 6.1 (italian rom) and i was looking for a new comm manager to use, cause i don't like the default one.
I tried the HTC comm manager, but because of it didn't fill up the sreen (320x320), i deleted it.
The problem is that now i have a running process, called "connmgr.exe", always on.Is it connected with the htc comm manager?
In windows folder the connmgr.exe file cannot be deleted 'cause it is a ROM file, so i don't know what to do...
...any ideas??
No one knows if this process should run always in background?
I do NOT have an HTC device, and before the install/disinstall of the htcCOMMmanager i never saw this process...

Hi,
I have Orange SPV c500, which I've upgraded to WM5.
I've copied the taget.img file to '\windows' directory.
It looks like it runs but it shows me black screen, and it's title is 'intent'. I've tried to run OperaMini and the gmail application.
Does any one know that problem? What to do?
Thanks.
Where can I find a CAB for the original HTC Kaiser Comm Manager? I installed some other comm managers that messed things up, I'd like to go back to the original now and can't find a cab for it.
Thanks!
Stickeys in the Kaiser forum.
Link it... I can not find the original comm manager either...
Looking for this too and I can assure that I've searched.
I'm cooking a ROM, but I dont know how to import WM5 apps to WM6. The first time I tried was a failure, I just copied the apps files and dll's and just drag it inside the WM6 folder and created the ROM and installed, but once installed, I got an error that it doesnt show the sliding panel, just black, then when I press start, the icon shows that it cannot locate the program, the icon looks like a file with a windows logo on it.
I really need help in importing WM5 files in WM6.
I got my Fuze a couple days ago, and I want to install some themes and maybe some other things.
But I don't know what to do with a CAB file, or how to get the themes onto my phone.
I am running the default ATT ROM, syncing with my Vista PC.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Anyone?
Please?
when you connect to the comp it should open device manager since you have Vista (set your Fuze to ActiveSync when the popup comes up). In Device Manger go to File Management then Brose the contents of my phone. You can then copy files from your PC to your Fuze by dragging and dropping them. Once you're done go back to your Fuze and go to Start - Programs - Tools - File Explorer and go to whenever you just put the cab install file and open it then just press 'install'.
so can in run the diamond TF3D config on my fuze?

Click to collapse
yes you can =D
Read the wiki..
when i try to drag the TF3D config onto my fuze, it just gives me the "no" symbol
im dragging all the files, the setup AND all the other files, into a folder call TF3D stuff.
is there anything I could be doing wrong?
edited solved
click explore in activesync, find your storage card, put cab files on storage card.
disable tf3d (start<settings<today<tab items, uncheck tf3d)
go to file explorer (in programs)
find cabs on storage card, touch cab, agree to install, install on device not storage card
re-enable tf3d
Hope that helps!
if you want a video on how to do it then i made one for people who are unsure
the vids alittle sketchy as my editing software messed up and deleted a part out of it but check it out anyways... hope it helps

Hi There!
I have a question about installing M2D on my Samsung Omnia.
I tried it several times but no luck.
I moved the files from the .rar file to my phone, opened the Opera browser setup file but then the screen just stays white and nothing happens.
What do I have to do?
thanks
flash this

aha
sounds like you are making he same mistake I did.
The files you downloaded are cab files, NOT winrar files, windows is lying to you!
don't extract the archive in windows, just move the archive to your programs folder, then find it in File Explorer and open it then. It should install automatically.
It only took me 3 days to work that out... I must be a special kind of stupid
everyone else who has flashed is calling it a rom happily ae you flashing this to your phone because thats the only way to change the rom
Thanks for the replies guys.
Will try some things.
Will I be able to install this on my Omnia?
Looks very nice!
I installed all the .cab files (thanks to "benoki" for that, hehe )
and when I'm on the Today screen is says: Touch Here to open TouchFLO.
I do that and nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Manila 2d
I'm running a Manila 2D skin on my Omnia, but first I had to install 'SPB Mobile Shell', which is an application that lets you change things (google it, you'll get the company website). SPB mobile shell isn't free, but they do have a trial version to download, and then you can purchase a key if you want, around $30. Its also possible to find not so legal versions on most popular torrent sites, but of course that would be wrong to do. Up to you.
AFAIK, you need this program to run the decent M2D skins, the .cab file that you have is probably made for SPB.
Thanks benoki.
SPB Mobile Shell starts nicely. First downloaded it, but totally worth the money.
I will try some Manilla2D skins!
Update: TouchFlo still wont start...
Now that you have SPB mobile shell installed, you won't be using the previous M2D cab you installed. Take it off (the previous M2D), reset, then find yourself Greatbal's latest M2D skin, and drop that .cab file into the SPB folder, and run it.
Reset, and you should be done. you'll see the Today screen, and SPb will be showing on the bottom right of the screen, touch and go
