Does someone has a German 6.1 rom for Herald????
You'll find some by searching. The latest completely cooked one is Gullum's, or you can individualize some originally English ones with the german settings...

I want to give my Herald to my wife now and so i need a german ROM (she's new to WinMo, so for better usability i want to give her the phone with native language system).
Can anybody share the german stuff for cooking an own ROM, i.e. on base of another WWE ROM?

hey guys awesome forum you have.. but it is soo hard to find something special.
Im looking for a german rom upgrade for my o2 xda neo. the update provided on their site changes nearly nothing.
In another forum i read about this rom: Qtek s200 2.20.739 GER for the prophet. it seems to be very stable and it is german.
please give me a link were to download this rom or a similar one- it MUST be german.
it can also be an cooked rom with changed content.
and by the way one little question what does the "WWE" attachment in the rom name mean ?? is there german language and keyboard layout included ?

There is atm no working WM6 German ROM, but there is a thread where they try to build an German rom, just searsh for it.

I'm also searching for a german ROM for my XDA neo. The only thing is that I need a WM5-ROM cause I'm using a Mac, and I cannot sync WM6 PDAs by now. Is there en cooked ROM out there which I can use?
Can also be an english ROM if it's got e german keyboard layout an t9 in it.

hello, I have an English ROM on my SPV C600 (RUU_TORNADO_WM6.1_19202_Clean_0.4b) and like to install German software. But the software is after installing in the same language as the ROM. What can I do? Thank you in advance!
Applications steer their language via the regional settings of the device. Almost all care for the language settings (often only English in cooked ROMs), very few also about the regional settings (e.g. Sprite Backup).
If your software is storing its language dependency in *.mui.<nn> files (mostly done), then you just need to delete/rename the *.mui.0409 files and rename the *.mui.0407 to *.mui.0409. Problem is that many apps have their english part built in and not in an extra *.mui.<nn>, so you may be out of luck.

Is there a complete German ROM available for the Tornado? There are several things at different places that need a customization per language. The *.mui.<nn> is just one part of the whole story.
I am too busy (and unexperienced) to extract and port a multilanguage ROM from another device.

Look in the VOX forum, the ROMs from frauhottelmann are multilanguage and he started with WM6.1 before moving on the 6.5 train.
I searched and searched but only found english wm6 roms. I know how to edit the input language in dutch but I am looking for a complete Dutch WM6 rom. Does anybody know if it does exist?
I think you've to translate one yourself.
Not a lot people prefer a dutch version. (myself included)

I prefer a WWE rom.You most likely will get anwsers in English on the internet if you run into problems.

I am not sure but i've read you cant put another language in a ROM...
You must cook the ROM with the good language at the beginning...
But I'm not an expert!
