Ok i have a sprint diamond upgraded to new sprint rom and i just hate the little lines with the arrow that pulls down to show you to close programs or the wrench.
HOW the heck do you get ride of it?
before the update i downloaded Twosen taskbar and got ride of it but since i upgraded to the new updated rom its back even though i loaded a custom taskbar.
anyone?
Just go to settings -> task manager -> button and then uncheck the last checkbox.
What is the problem with this feature? I don't see the point actually...
thanks got it, there is nothing wrong with it just a preference that i would like it to be gone is all
again thank you

In one rom i had, there was a mod for wm6 where you clicked OK and it would close the application, making my memory always clear... The app was called HTC task manager

Personally I don't think this appz works...cause when I go into setting and memory ....my appz is still open...and yes I have mark the x to close the appz in HTC setting.
x-button is working fine, its not enoguh to install it though, next step is to TURN close option ON in menu start/settings tab system end of list......
but if you need nice alternative...
switch 1.25 is neat app, imo, icon can be set anywhere on taskbar , nad remembers its position with portrait/landscape independently..

yes I do have enable x button to end running programs if that's what you mean.
the only thing it doesnt work for is activesync-for some reason it will still show as running from all my experiences.

Hey guys, is there a cab to move the lock screen to the bottom of the screen instead of the top?
I tried to install swipe to unlock, but when i unlocked it with this app, it went back to the lock screen.
So i was wondering of there was a stand alone cab for this?
Thanks guys

just tried this one and it looks and works good
Working great on my HD2. Cheers
Hi, very nice, but is there a slider which does not work only the horizontal way?
I think it would be a lot better if the slider was some sort of an arc which follows the natural movement of the right (or left) hands thumb!?
Is there something available?
Great app!
Works fine with my HTC HD2.
Thanks a lot, finally I can answer my phone onehanded!
thanks! i've tried and it works so far! many thanks!
Its working on my HD2 (Singapore SingTel set)... Thanks!!!
I'm not using swipe to unlock, is there a version where I can just get the lock button to the bottom but standby button retains locking functionality?
Edit: Ignore me, Thought I couldn't lock anymore. =p
I also got some Lockscreen at the Bottom with a cab for the original one.

AFAIK, if it's a cab, it can be uninstalled. I installed the Center slider cab. The other one seems to be to revert back tot he original Leo. If uninstalling doesn't fix things, install that original cab.

LOL!!!
No it don't mate. It doesn't do that at all. Files do not slow down "the phones processor"
Anyway, save them in the "my documents" folder on the storage card. That should work. If it don't, save them on the phone in "my documents". It REALLY doesn't have a detrimental effect on the phone's performance at all.
Just installed the .cab, but nothing happens? Are you ameant to be doing anything else to change it?
Edit: Seems like I needed to restart it, as it worked when I turned it back on. Didn't like it so reinstalled the orginal one.
Gday all i was wondering if there is a program that allows you to change between themes without actually uninstalling one and then reinstalling another?
This would be awsome if it were true.

First, slide your sense tab to the right (the Setting tab)..on the lower right u'll see the menu option...click >> all setting >> click. Then u'll see the setting screen, choose Today. Then u'll see option of installed theme. Just click whichever theme u like.
Thank you very much for that, although i cant see the Fallout theme and the Buuf theme in that list though.
This is probably one of the best apps I have seen in a long time!
1. Get it on the market
2. Set as default home
3. Set the home you were using before in settings
4. Double tap home anywhere and see a mini homescreen!
It's VERY similar to Apple's overlay feature on Macs (middle button) which lets you put widgets and access them at any time.
Try it out!

YES! Exactly what I need when I walk outside and bam the sunlight hits the screen, press home twice to access the power control widget and turn the brightness up, never even leaving the app I was in! I love Faruq Rasid's work, first the HelixLaunchers and now QuickDesk!
This is pretty slick.
Nice job!

Same here! It's perfect!
I've used this since it was in Alpha.\ and I absolutely love it! Everyone should use this.
If you didn't set it up properly, it says you can clear defaults in your Android applications settings if the popup doesn't appear.
Where exactly is that. I don't want to end up clearing the wrong stuff.
Manage apps in settings menu, choose app, and then choose clear defaults.
Sweet app....very useful as I need Lamppu while under a desk while using pinout so thanks!

It doesn't actually say, but if you see it in the Marketplace it most likely will work with your device.
Wow this is actually really useful! Thans for letting us know about this apk

I don't know if this is just me... because I haven't seen anyone else complain.
It looks like a very nice concept, but my phone would lag all over the place when I used this app. When I would select applications some would be unresponsive and when I would select from a list, the highlight would flicker... Did I do something wrong? Should I just try reinstalling it?
**edit... I tried reinstalling it... I encountered the same problem again. But then I messed with some of the settings and it worked fine. Great app!
If you guys are not too sure on how to setup QuickDesk on your phone, here a guide for you, http://droidbar.net/2010/09/quickdesk-setup-guide/
Nothing fancy, but heres the newest Launcher Pro apk, 0.8.3, for gingerbread. If you're like me, the "preferences" and "notifications" bothered you when pressing menu on the homescreen, as they were left over from froyo. Want a fix? Well thats why you're here.
You'll need to uninstall your current lp install, so remember to back up if you need to =P
Throw it on your SD card and install with your favorite file explorer.
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?m0zhi01tj9mfo80
Enjoy.
What would we do without...
As always, thanks for the fix!
I appologize for the bump but...
What is this actually supposed to do? In true flash-a-holic manner, I uninstalled and reinstalled but I don't notice any difference... "notification" and "preferences" are still the same... could you post a screen shot?

Like I said it isn't anything too involved. And its for a gingerbread rom. The two bottom left icons. They are the ones from froyo on the market download so they have a shadow that makes them fugly looking. I can post a screen later.
Here ya go. Two bottom left icons. That's it. If your on gingerbread you can look at yours and see the difference.
I see, I see. The difference is small, but I'm sure I couldn't do with out it.
Thanks again!

Small indeed. I'm sure fede will fix it once gingerbread becomes more widespread, but I've got ocd when it comes to stuff like that =P
As you might know, I always post what I got in case anyone shares my views on these things
I need help!!!
How do I uninstall the LP?
Go into settings > application > manage applications > downloaded > find launcher
pro, then uninstall.
Port the aosp phone.apk to sense in your FrostRom 5.0. Please Uncle Barnacles!
