I heard about updating the ROM ... what versions are compatible to my xda ?
can someone post a link to a recent stable rom?
my sound quality is not too good .. but this might be fixed with a new ROM version, right ?
moreover the volume is generally to low .. i read that this might be fixed by editing the registry .. but how can i do so ... is there any sort of registry editor available ??

Can anyone help me to go back to the english ROM (WM5 OR WM6) . I installed Arabic rom and I want to do back to the English ROM .
I`m not sure but I heard jaq3 is like Palm Treo 750 ! Is it true ? if it`s not tell me which part of the froum is about jaq3 and it likes which phone for upgrading and anything else.

Do yourself a big big favour and read the WIKI HERE. There isn't much you can ask that's not covered here. It tells you how to do most things And welcome to the forum

For beginning, download the new Tomal v8.2 ROM and simply run the application. It has its own manual. You have to only synchronize your ppc with your desk computer before running that application.
For other upgrading things use "universal RUU" from the ftp site. There are many readme files for doing that too.
Best radio version is 1.15
Extended ROM must be configurable for yourself so study more before changing that.
Until now I have seen that Tomal's work is the best...

ok. First, please ask someone like Kareem for something like this (he's good at making people custom roms). Also, I recommend searching and browsing this forum until you find a ROM you like

I've just picked up a Gsmart MW700 and while a little underpowered i'd love to put winmo 6.5 final on it. I've searched high and low and found the mybestpds.com forum, but they have nothing there but a potential rom that might work but it's a 65. beta.
Anyone know if a 6.5 rom is available that would work on the MW700? Is there a generic one or does it need to be specific to the device (guessing specific). Would really appreciate any tips here.
I would like to know if such a rom exists. But I would be happy even with just a 6.1rom, just so I can have threaded messaging (so I can remove sms-chat to free up some precious memory). Otherwise, I love this phone. For the price I paid for it, it far surpass my expectation.
As we dedicate here only to HTC devices you won´t find too much attention.

I found this 6.5 rom for the MWG atom V:

It's practically the same phone as the Gsmart mw700, everything is identical other than a few different software...

Anyone would like to confirm if this would work on the gsmart? And if I do decide to be the guinea pig for this....the rom I found on mybestpda ( http://www.mybestpda.com/board/mw700-ms800-rom/mw700-rom-updates-official-t71.html ), would it be able to revert back if this rom does brick the phone??

installed the Wm6.5 roms for MWG atom V on Gigabyte gsmart MW700.. works fine no issues what so ever.. check all the functionality and is a good rom..
keep in mind to flash using only 64mb image files ..

did some research and found out this site.. its basically a thai site.. but register there to get the links ..u can basically try any of the atom v roms ..

Hi, I have MW700 with WM6 Pro, how can I update the OS to WM6.5 ?
I haven't done it myself, but if you search up 6.5 roms for the Atom V, you can load those roms for the mw700. Seems to be working for masterg0g0.
