Touch Screen broken? Doesnt Respond - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Phone has been working fine until just now when i was going to make a call I noticed that the touch function didnt work. Everything else works except the touch screen. I cant touch anything. I've noticed a couple of weeks ago a rectangle of "liquid" that appears every now and then. Thats all.
Seems very odd!
I have tried to softreset it and removed battery nothing works!

Could be the infamous PDA Pen. In the slide there is a nob to tell the phone that it's in or out and if it comes loose it deactivate the phones touch function. Do a search about it I know I seen it on here or Fuze Mobility. Could be you problem.

your touch screen is broken. i had this same "oil spot" issue...

TyTN : problem with the touch screen

Hi,
I've just received my TyTN today and I'm not very satisfied concerning the touch screen.
I don't know what is happening but the touch screen does NOT respond properly. I've tried to clean it a bit, but the result remains the same.
When I want to use the screen keyboard, it's horrible. I point the letter A and the screen understands that I'm touching the letter under or the letter just near the "A". It's pretty impossible to write a text properly and very hard to open programs or browse with the touch screen.
Of course I've tried to align the screen. It's working without any problem then.
But after some times, opening apps, closing others (using normally the pda inf act), the problem comes back... the TyTN does't really understand where I'm touching the screen.
Then I make a screen alignement, and it's working back... It's just amazing
I don't think it's a hardware problem because the alignement is working after an align screen.
Maybe it's a known error ? Has somebody the same problem ??
Is there a rom update to fix that ? Or is it a problem of my own HTC ?
Thanks !
Can you help me please ?.
Hi,
I don't have this issue with mine...
Check the "TnTN/v1604 problem" topic maybe
I had the same thing, once, with my variO. Probably I pushed too hard onto the screen while cleaning.
Actually, this is a known problem with some of the first shipment devices. Look at the other TyTn topics i this forum.

tilt kaiser touch screen malfunction

hey, I've been having random problems with my tilt kaiser with cfw 3.57htcks.
the touch screen will stop working altogether, and even when it starts working, it randomly starts pushing the lower left button on the touch screen and opening it to whatever it is, such as all messages, send, send, send, and keeps going. I'm not sure if it's a firmware problem, or a device problem -_-;
I've even soft resetted, hard resetted, and just getting through the calibration screen took long enough, and it STILL doesnt work right.
update- the touch screen no longer responds at all.
Which is lame, since I haven't fooled around with it.
the same problem
I have the same problem. Is there anybody here to help us?Did you resolve your problem?

Touch screen doesn't work!!

Hello,
Today my touchscreen stop working, i think it is because of humidity, because it has some spots on the screen. I hard reset and now i can't pass the screen aligmente, any ideas how i can solve this?
Has anyone had humidity in teh screen and solve the problem? some kind of cleaning?
For humidity, I don't know what to do, sorry.
My raphhael's touchscreen stopped working some weeks ago. I don't know why, the scrree is perfect: symply it stops working.
Then I try changing its rom, thinking the problem was the old rom. So I hadd my pda stucked at calibration step!
Then I found a file with calibration data for using remote calibration mode.
...just use search on xda-forum!!!
Using this data your pda will pass calibration step... but consider touchscreen will not resuscitate;-)
Oh my pda! After three weeks (it stayed turned off), I turned it on for moving some files and (surprize) touchscreen start working flawlessy
I really didn't understood what happened...

I've attached a zip file. Decompress it on your micro-sd and reboot Raphael.
Good luck;-)
Hey doping11,
I got the same problem with my touch pro.
After a evening walking outdoors i can home and
saw a little humidity at the side of my screen.
I hoped it gone away as it had come but no it stayed.
A week later, just this fryday i had a little spot appearing in my screen and
not a day later my touchscreen didn't work anymore.
The spot seems to create a pressure pont at that part of the touchscreen
so no other part is responding anymore and to make it worse....
The spot seems to get bigger and bigger and bigger.
It's now a spot of 2,5 cm length and about 1cm width.
I tryed multiple opties, letting it dry above a heater,
putting the phone on the other site, pushing the spot ect.
Nothing seems to word...
Does anybody has an idea how to fix that ??
the screen is dead., need a new lcd screen and digitizer., cheeper to by anther phone ,used one that works

Part of the screen not working

Today when I took out my old Nexus S i9023, I was shocked that there was a finder-wide horrizontal line across the screen where no touch input is registered. The part is exactly where the power-off menu button is.
The weird thing is that around a month ago it worked fine and the phone was never dropped or hit/pressed hard.
Anyone can provide any information on what could cause this?
The screen itself fully works and there don't seem to be any visual evidence of problems. After trying to show touch input in the developer settings, I can see that it doesn't register my finger passing through the area. The rest on the screen works fine.

Touchscreen randomly not working

Hello guys,
This is not necessarily a specific S8 plus thread, it's more of a software/hardware general related issue. I just replaced my display two weeks ago because I cracked the screen and the display a while ago.
After replacement, I got the phone, everything was good until I dialed *#0*# and started testing the touch. It appears that theres a portion in the middle of the display that is not working (the boxes wont go green when touching them). The thing is that, sometimes, the touch passes this test as in everything is ok and sometimes, it fails.
From time to time(pretty frequent) it randomly freezes and I have to hit the power button to open and close the screen to make it work again.
I just flashed the android Pie hoping a complete erase would fix the thing but it appears it didn't. Do you guys know any solution to my issue besides returning the phone in the service?
Thanks!
