Hello guys,
Im have a 9100 running CR80 ROM, it is pretty good, but after Hardreset it still install a lot of stuffs that i dont need, like Google maps and other unnecessary stuffs..
I would like to remove all these stuffs trying to free up some memory, because i got a huge SD card of 8 gigas, if i need any custom application i would like to install it on the Card and make my device run faster with more free memory.
Ihave ready a lot of cookies treads trying to find out some info about how to cooke my own ROM, but i dont think that it is necessary, if i could remove these auto install after hardreset or remove all these unnecessary programs from registry, it could help me a lot.
please help me.
Thanks Guys
Almost all cooked ROMs these days include programs that the cook felt were integral to the operation of their ROM. This may not always be true, but it often is.
Try this: Load a ROM that has the basic features you desire (WM 6.1, Office Mobile, etc.), and when the home screen comes up for the first time, you'll see a message that says something like "customization beginning in 3...2...1"
The instant you see that, reset the phone. This will prevent all of the ROM chef's customizations from installing. While that might make for an uglier presentation at first, you can surely figure out how to skin things for yourself, and this will avoid about 90% of the "extras" you are trying to avoid.

may I learn the brand of your mini SD card and which driver do you use for it ? As I know htc Wizard supports up to 2gig for Sd cards ? I want to buy a higher capacity card if it is compatible with Wizard
Wizard cannot read SDHC cards, which pretty much eliminates anything over 4GB (there are VERY FEW 4GB non-HC cards). Most stick to 2GB, since most of those are non-HC cards. As far as I know, there are no 8GB non-HC miniSD cards.
Brand matters less than the designation HC (High Capacity); these are multi-layer cards, and the Wizard cannot read all layers, and will report your available memory as a fraction of the whole card, if it reads it at all.

Don’t ask me to add the programs you would like, such as Windows Live, Voice Command or whatever,
because I’ve got so many different request’s from people who ask for a program so I can’t make everybody happy, I hope you understand.
My target is too build a Rom which is Vanilla with all bugs fixed and some extra tools too make a backup and some
handy tools which everybody needs now and than!
I don’t support Windows Live anymore because it’s a beta release with too many problems!
Of course bug report's are always welcome!

I'm a bit confused - is this different to Ivan's v5, or is it based on his v5 with tweaks?

Good to hear this!!
well well well, you are improving everyday. I have to repeat myself.
It seems that you are using a new base for the ROM but the info provided is the same as Ivan new ROM.
I was going to ask which one were you going to use on your V5. I'm a bit late.
I lost the opportunity to find out what were the main differences between Ivan and Midget ROMs. Now we will have a new one with your's?
I would appreciate if someone could point the main differences between the above ROMs.

• JeoDek Java

• Clearvue PDF
• SipConfig
• Oxios Memory
• Camera 3.0
• reTouched Dailer
• Comm Manager 10 Buttons (IR Instead of useless ActiveSync Icon)
• Regional Settings default to English (United States) and use a slash for the date seperator (M/dd/yyyy)
• Menu sounds work by default
• Pressing the "End Call" button does not disconnect GPRS but minimized the active application. Pressing and holding the "End Call" button for about 5 seconds will do a GPRS Disconnect
• Internet access over ActiveSync (USB) connection works (You must apply a registry fix on your PC first. See the next post for the fix)
Requirements
You MUST have an IPL and SPL at 2.xx or higher (BOTH not just one or the other).
You MUST be running ActiveSync 4.5 on Windows XP (Vista comes with the correct sync utility, although there have been issues reported about Vista and sync'ing with PPC's so be aware of that).
Before you attempt to upgrade to this ROM, Please follow this thread to learn how to flash roms and CID unlock, and how to fix issues you may run into! It is also recommended that you flash your phone with a Windows XP computer and not Vista. It will work with Vista, but if you run into problems Vista can't talk to a phone in Bootloader mode!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613
Recomendations
• I HIGHLY Recommend that you flash back to an official rom before upgrading to this (or any) custom rom so you have a clean base (and correct any Extended ROM corruption you might have). G4 users would flash back to their provider's latest official release. G3 users can use T-Mobile 2.26 for a good base.
• If you use BatteryStatus (its NOT included in the rom!) to overclock, I don't recommend overclocking above 260Mhz, and the CPUscaler settings in BatteryStatus should not be set to a min lower than 143MHz (or your device may not wake back up after going to sleep). Personally, I have not tried to overclock this rom due to the performance it already has.
Credits
I would like to thank the following in help (directly and indirectly) with Singh Mobile 6:
• Faria for providing the initial ROM Kitchen that got me cooking
• mfrazz for the guides, information and providing me help with tweaks and his words from forums
• mattk_r for OEM and OS Packs **Chef**
• Theloon for providing me his latest Betas and working on this OS 318.**Main Chef**
• funkadesi who took the time to help with beta/alpha test the early version of this base rom and provided splash pictures and various ideas.
• It's Right (TNT Chef) for his welcome screen i love this
• InGeNeTiCs for taking the time to dump the rom Microsoft put on his phone so we could have this base rom
• Many others here at XDA-Developers.com that provided information, tips, and suggestions that I used when putting this together
Known Issues
• The base rom has a bug / feature where if GPRS is active, unanswered calls may not show up as a missed call and may not give notification of the unanswered call. If this happens, the unanswered call shows up in the history as an answered call with a duration of 1 or 2 seconds.
• Every WM6 rom I've tried has an issue where if you use the "Press and Hold" of the CommManager button to switch to and from Vibrate mode, that the ringtone may not play when not in vibrate mode. To work around this go to Settings > Phone and play your ringtone and your ringing will work again.
• Camera Icon in Pictures & Video doesn't work, But Camera Button and Camera icon in Programs Still works.(I am working with few people to resolve this bug)
Connecting Singh Mobile 6 to the Internet via ActiveSync 4.5 on Windows XP

Great start of a ROM. I really like it - quick, great app selection, one of the best first tries I have seen. I am having problems, though. It is having serious problems reading my SD card (that has virtually always worked perfectly) and also installing cabs off my SD even when it reads properly (may be related though). I THINK this happened once before when the ROM was heavily compressed like this one. Also, it went on standby earlier and wouldn't come back - had to soft reset. Other than that, I really like it and would look forward to a v1.1!

UPDATE: Been using it off and on all day, and I first have to say - I continue to really like this ROM. Fast, low power consumption, again - great app selection. I haven't had any more problems with standby. I was able to install my cabs by downloading them to main memory and installing them, so it definitely appears to be an issue with the way it is reading the SD card. I checked it out, and no markings other than miniSD, 2.0GB. Black card - must be a generic. The deal is I have had this problem only once or twice with this SD card with over a DOZEN roms, and never this consistent. I remember it being alluded to earlier in this forum, and I think a reg fix took care of it. I will be digging, but any help is appreciated - thanks again for a very good rom!
try these steps
1) take out miniSD
2) Soft Reset
3) insert it in
WHen i flash i usually take out SD b4 i flash it. I never had any problems like this before but i am trying my best to produce it on my PDA LOL.
Hi Guys, let me know if i should remove HTC Streaminng Media and put TCPMP in the place of it. I think TCPMP is alot better and it also plays streaming media files. Correct me if i am wrong. I think in my next release i am going to remove streaming media as its 1.5MB and waste while TCPMP is 1.1MB while its really good.
edit: posted tmobile pack for tmobile users.

Thanks for trying! Without going into a ton of detail, let me say that I did do the steps you have here before I flashed this ROM - but - I have flashed a bunch of other ROMs with it in and only seen a similar problem one or twice before (like out of several dozen flashed). Seems odd it would happen now when I "followed the book", but I just gave up on the card and reformatted it. It is working fine now.
More importantly, I want to go on the record to say that again, I have used most every ROM out there for the last year - and this is my favorite. Excellent speed, excellent stability, excellent app selection, good free memory, low power consumption - it just does everything I have asked it to do.
I have had a few random "glitches" with it, but it is nevertheless the best ROM I have used bar none. Thank you for your efforts!

2. Before flashing the ROM, move SPCPreConFig.Cab from the unzipped files to temporary directory on SD card and install (it doesn't really matter where you choose to install it, as the contents will be installed on the SD)
Optional Step to Preserve Contacts and Agenda:
Make a copy of PIM.VOL from the root directory of the Device using Total Commander or any other real file explorer to "\Storage Card\Cabs\".
This will overwrite the blank pim.vol file SPCPreConfig.cab installed
This optional step will result in your Agenda and Contacts being preserved when your device reboots after customization, and you only need to do this once)

3. Remove SD card but keep it slightly inserted so you can pop it in quickly.
4. Press and hold Camera button and then use stylus to reset the device.
5. The TriColour Boot screen will display. Verify that you have SPL 1.111.001
6. Flash using 01 Flash Rom application from unzipped files above.
7. Once the Update Tool on Windows displays "Finished" reseat the SD card into the slot immediately and remove the USB cable if you are using SDautorun to copy over pim.vol.
8. Sit Back and enjoy not needing to resync and calibrate your device.

Battery Status 1.05.1 (Replaces Taskmanager and X Button to)(Pressi9ng in the middle of BTstatus opens CommManager, you know where it should state the operator, Set to 247mhz. Recommended not using AutoScale because it might make BTstatus dissapear from home plug ins)
InternetSharing
WM5torage 1.75 (1.8 was acting weird)
Total Commander 2.5

hi Noonski,
Good to see you getting busy trying to cook us a new rom I'm up for the challenge...
Sure, i got balls.
Show me the goods.
I just now figured out how to integrate Bepe's new Mini Litchen into my familiar HyperCore infironment.
First one i made was based on an older WM 6.1 build and it suck maytor ass but really show the slowness well.
It's full of buggs as i haven't done any work on my old packages wich are incomplete.
But by installing them anyway into the rom it's easier for me to see what needs to be done , if you know what i mean.
So that's "RUU_Signed01.nbh"
And just now i made my first from Bepe's new Build 5.2.199 (I make mistakes with numberings who cares it's the latest)
Added some stuff to be sure the Rom would be larger then 50MB to flash.
Haven't removed anything else yet.
Swiping will give an error as Cube is not in it.
Rename RUU_Signed02.nbh into RUU_Signed02.nbh
But it's fast and very clean.
There's nothing really modified but it might be funny to see some weird experiMENTAL builds that ussually don't get out.
Links coming for both RUU's without the whole Updater stuff with it.
Now how do i kill biotouch completly?
I've attached BioRandomAcces.zip
Drop the files into windows folder, it will bring up Random Acces when swiping upwards
What would be cool Small App to replace the cube with?
(I don't want it back anyway)
Thing about Bepe's Build is Both ELF and ELFIN and i can't change the PP to 4 or 6.
So it will be 8 MB PP but it is a better Build then the first one i tried.
I still need to learn stuff about XIP editing (if it will even make it possible)
Link Removed
Link Above For Flasher Anymous Subscribers. Be sure to make a back up of your contacts as you won't be using the above roms a longer then 2 hours.

No it will be a 4 side
Just tried to install icecube on this clean rom.
It started up but did not recognize left, right and down slides.
It's missing to much Touch Files and drivers and registry settings at the moment.
And i don't have all my **** here at work.
I disabled the Up swipe for cube now.
HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\
EnableCube=0
Changed the thread name into Vanilla.
Time to brick my device, i'm doing a little experiment with XIP to bring 4 MB pagepool to Bepe's Build.
I don't know what i'm doing so let's pray.
Aeugh... that didn't work.
i'm using ur RUU_Signed02.nbh rom! it's real fast...
would u tell me what happened with the wireless settings? cant find it anywhere...
happy to test ur roms Noonski!

The excitment of the Master Cooker Noonski is starting to build to a fevered pitch. 6.1 beta base code wiht much of the fluff stripped out. I continue to use and i like the organization stratagy in how the ROM / SD card is organized. This appears to promice big storage, execellerated speeds, and the new UC stratgy to us non-cookers to effeciently add back in our favorite / just can;t live wihout apps. I am waiting with baited breath on the jump from SPC 3.o to FSPC 6.1

Here is the WM6.1 XDA Live Rom!
This Rom is intended for Tilt Owners who want a light version of the Tilt WM6.1 ROM. The default Keyboard will be CWSLayout (Tilt), you are free to change it.
The Base ROM is at&t 3.51.502.0(AKU 1.0.2) Windows Mobile 6.1 Rom.
The initial releases included the first at&t WM6.1 Radio (1.65.14.06).
Starting with Release 3.0 A2 I will not package the Radio so you will need to flash a WM6.1 compatable Radio Rom if you don't already have one installed.
Note that some WM6.1 Radios might not work with this Rom as AT&T has a habit of tying their Radios to their OS Roms since the release of their 1.60 WM6.0 Rom.
It is debranded cosmetically
I have purchased a second Tilt to dedicate to this project.
This release includes:
Registry Tweaks:
* Disable Security Warning for Unsigned Apps & Cabs
* SDK Certificates have been installed
* Enable Assisted GPS
* Disable Sent SMS Notification
* Long Press of RED End Key locks device
Fixes:
* Support UC (User Customization)
* Button 6 & Button 6 (Hold) defined
* Button 6 assigned to MS Voice Command
* Hold Button 6 assigned to Comm Manager
Removed:
* at&t MediaNet & WAP Data Connections
* MS Office Mobile
* WM6 Default Games
* at&t Push To Talk (v3.00 b408.812)
* HTC Quick GPS (v1.00 b220.821)
* jbed Java
* HTC RealPlayer (v1.00 b810.712)
* Acrobat Reader LE (v2.0)
* HTC Zip (v1.20 b730.720)
* HTC Voice Recorder (v1.10 b130.817)
* Sprite Backup HTC Edition (v5.1.0 b1449)
* at&t Dialer (v1.40 b30728)
* HTC Task Manager (v1.51 b33547)
* ALL at&t bloatware
* Calculator
* Windows Update
* Customer Feedback
* HTC Home Today Plug-In (v2.10 b181.337)
* Media Player Today Plug-In (1.00 b 731.714)
* Slider Sounds
* Slider Applet
* Arcsoft MMS Composer (v5.0.31.16)
* Sim Manager (v6.42)
* Sim Toolkit STK crap
* .NET Compact Framework
* HTC Camera Application (v4.08 b30665)
Work still to be done:
Registry Tweaks:
* TCP-IP Tweaks
* Enable GPS Data in Photo Data
* Disable In-Call Fast Sleep
* Hide SIM Contacts (yes it sticks!)
* Glyph (GDI/Font) Cache set to Large
* Enabled File System Cache
* Enabled File System Filter Cache
* Disable TouchFLO
* Support Simultaneous BBC & MediaNet Connections
Fixes:
* Camera.exe replaced with a “No Camera Message.exe”.
* ReplaceMe.ini file in the windows folder so you can easily make a cab file that causes soft reset by simply overwriting it.
* Adjust PagePool
Remove:
* Error Reporting
* Following Control Panel Applets (at least hide them)
----> Domain Enroll
----> Managed Programs
* MS Voice Command (v1.6.19209)
Reported Issues:
If you enable the clear type in landscape mode then when viewing Phone Menu in Landscape the text on the tabs does not show.

Thanks a bunch!!
HI,
Can you please upload another server, like rapidshare or 4shared,megaupload does not work in my country.
Thank you for your hard work..
Cool.
Do you have the cab for the MS voice command you removed?
Voice Command is still in the Rom. I won't remove it until I can include a seperate Cab to put it back in (which will be once a carrier has released a Rom with VC in it)

Radio
1.64.08.21 It does not work with this rom,I did not try it all the WM 6.1 radios with the rom,I prefer 1.64.08.21 radio for good signal reception and battery.Rom is nice and fast...
Thanks again
I like this ROM the way it is now. Nice, Clean & Fast. No offense to all the cooks. But, most seem to try and cook to much in. I just rather add items in with a cab.
As for the reg hacks. These can also be added with Advanced Config and KaiserTweak.
Great job!
Kyphur,
Just flashed and looking good so far. I did notice that the AT&T Connection settings were not there upon flash completion (and a Hard Reset after). Not a biggie, but thought you should know.
Thanks.
First Glance
Kyphur, as you may remember, I used and liked your hermes ROMs. I did a flash of this to test and as previous member wrote, I expected the ATT settings to be there. I was also surprised that after flashing with nothing else added, the free program memory was only 56.21 MB. I expected 70+ in free memory.
Not complaining as so far all else is working.
Looking forward to many ROMs from you.
Thanks,

Just use a HTC Network Wizard to find your settings.

Since your an AT&T guy might I suggest you use the ATT Settings.cab below.

Kyphur this ROM is running good for me, very quick at opening, installing applications. I haven't noticed any issues thus far. Keep up the great work!!!
Man, while waiting for my battery to get to 50% so I can flash the latest HyperDragon, I stumble upon this.
One thing though, has anyone tried Sakajati's page pool changers?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2131301&postcount=3
They're based on Dutty's fix, might just make it extra easy to change, or play around with different PPs.
Thanks!

Thanks ATW, that is exactly what I did (thus my "no biggie" comment). I guess I should have mentioned that in my post
I think I even found the cab in either your (or P1Tater's) downloads.
Thanks much.
That will get adjusted once I start messing with the PagePool. I've got the info and will do it this week (as soon as my Development Tilt arrives)

That's by design as not all Tilts are used with AT&T.

This looks like one worth giving a shot.
I have uploaded the File to my 4Shared of anyone else wants to grab it. However, there are a lot of options for downloading it.
i'm cheking the rom and is the ""ultimate lite"" rom
i found a bug ...
when you enable the clear type in landscape mode with kaiser tweak or shaps advanced configuration tool, all the letters of any tabs when you viewing phones menu in landscape...are dissapears
just don't use this registry setting and everything is ok
by the way the rom is really fast !! good work !
For Pagepool, if it is default, sakajati has created a tool to easily change the PP. But it will only work if the PP is the default size. It is Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2131301&highlight=kais_pp_18.exe#post2131301
ALSO!!! You've included this radio, have you found a way to allow it to be overwritten? Or am I mistaken & this is a different radio?

GSLEON3, this is not the infamous "cannot remove" radio . Thank goodness!
I need all the features working flawlessy and was unable to find right WM6.1 despite flashing a new one almost every day.
Therefore I reverted back to Sleuth 1.2 (WM6) and everything works fine for me.
* Quick GPS is really quick (10-20 seconds to fix)
* No problems with customs SIP (PCM Kbd, iPhone skin)
* No problems with TCMP/FlashVideoBundle
* SRS WOW works without any problems
* No issues with Bluetooth
* Filesystem performance much better (for instance opening \Windows folder in Total Commander)
Is there/here anybody cooking a new WM6 ROM?
