I-mate SP5 rom on CING 2125

Is this possible? I'm considering purchasing the 2125 for my Father whos visitng for the summer from overseas and he has the i-mate SP3. He agreed only if he could have the I-Mate rom on it. So can i put the I-mate rom on the cing 2125? I noticed the hardware buttons are different, how will this effect its operation?

Yes, you can do this.
But you will get some trouble.
WiFi will not work at all. (becouse this model does not support it)
I will install the latest CING 2125 ROM to my O2 Xda phone. I am very happy. Becouse now i have 20 Mb of available storage.

What AKU does the new 2125 ROM have? How does it compare with the SP5m and Qtek 8300 ROMs?

latest cing rom (2.0.13.0) is aku 2.2... compared to aku 2.0 from imate and qtek

i understand wifi won't work but specifically what trouble will i have?

Has anyone tried the Cingular ROM on a Tornado device? Does wifi work? Does A2DP work?

Here is the SD Host Controller driver from HTC Herald, that supports SD2.0. HTC Herald is also based on OMAP850 platform, so the only problem is who to insert it in Prophet or Wizard ROM..

Which WM6 ROM for iMate Jasjar

Hello,
i have got an iMate Jasjar here and would like to update it to WM6. Which rom is known to work with it? I can see a few different ones here but most of them are made for the O2 or Tmobile devices. Will they all work on my Jasjar?

Any ROM from the Universal section will work for any of the rebranded devices

when i install the wm-6 OS within the imate jasjar, will i be able to use the SDHC storage card in it rather than the standard SD card

My vote is for Jason's ROM at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=343736&highlight=jasjar+wm6. Been using it for quite some time and it's most definitely very stable!!

Goto the first post for the ROM your looking to install and search (using your web browser) for "SDHC"
Also, there is no need to bold everything you say - it only annoys people

Does any one have a new rom 6.1 which don't have a problem with bluetooth?

hi e very body, i really want to use rom w6.1 (because i like 6.1's style of message box) but i try 3 roms , all of them have aproblem with bluetooth( i cant connect my lap via active sync by buetooth, i can do it good in w6.0)
So can any body tell me which rom 6.1 dont have a problem with bluetooth?

There is only one "WM6.1" rom out at the moment (ie PDAViet's) - and thats more of a hybrid WM6\WM6.1
So, just be patient, and we'll get a proper WM6.1 ROM...

DFT put there ROM also and forum has links for both versions 128 and 64, although no idea whether it's indeed WM 6.1 or it's combination of WM6&WM6.1

you cant tornados don't support 4gb cards

no SDHC, but "standard" 4 GB cards are supported. I'm running one in my i-mate SP5.

there isn`t any possibility to make tornado read sd hc cards?maybe some dll`s from those who can read maybe vox?

You can't make this kind of card to work on your spv c600. I tried to change the ROM，but without success.

there was a topic where guys were trying to solve this problem, but no results till the end...
