HTC/Sapphire Exchange Mail Application - G1 Android Development

Is it possible to port the Mail/Exchange.apk that's on the "Magic" to the G1?
Not a developer so don't know figured i'd ask
thanks

It's "possible" but the answer is more detailed then that. Do some research on Android packaging. I good start is by looking what JF has accomplished. If this is too much for you than I suggest you sit back silently and let the hackers play.

Has anyone looked into this at all?

Here's an idiea, run a Haykuro build.

Maybe I would rather run my current JF build instead of go up to the Magic build?
I have tried Haykuro's builds and enjoy them, but there are still some bugs out there and I honestly don't really feel like messing with them.
I was just wondering if anyone has looked into this at all.

That's fun, but I find the bugs in 5.0G to be very minimum

5.0G doesn't have HTC's Exchange does it?

No, G builds do not have Exchange Sync

Owned! Also, I agree that having the Exchange Sync ported to at least the G builds would be AWESOME. Then again, it'd also probably be fairly difficult since it seems to be built into the system since it shows up under the main settings menu. Would probably require haykuro himself to actually pull this one off.

No g does not, I am sorry for the confusion, but h is also not bad enough where you couldn't use it on a normal basis, as I used it for a couple days as my main device...

I agree. H is stable. I just don't want to commit all the time to redoing the phone just to have cupcake come out on Tmo and me prefer that and have to do the whole process over again.
Other than exchange, there isn't enough on the H and G builds to make it worth flashing for me. That's why I would love to be able to install the exchange support as stand alone.

Are you joking? There's loads of good reasons to move to the H build over the standard JF build.
Virtual Keyboard throughout
Proper cut/paste
Better battery life
Faster overall performance
New widgets (music, calendar)
Camcorder (for those intimate moments )
HTC Dialer (this is much better than the stock Google one)
Better looking throughout
Stereo Bluetooth (omg this is awesome)
These all rock. The exchange support will come I hope. That's really the only major advantage of winmob right now for professionals (Even though winmob is crap).
I'm flashing mine almost daily right now and can get back to full install in about 15 minutes (trust me, i've done it enough times to do it quick). As soon as the exchange app works I'll stop flashing all the time and just flash when there are important bug fixes or the next coolest thing comes along.
Long live android

I agree, Magic is oh so magic. It's basically cupcake, all it needs is flash . Oh and 15 mins? Pff ameature... jk I flash mine almost once a day as well, still can't decide between g and h, plus once in a while I'll jump back to jf for themes, then miss the camcorder, or soft keyboard. Oh boy this device is amazing. Really is a dream..... come true.

How do you do that? I need at least half an hour to set-up the whole device [including installing all the programs..]
Or do you have all your programs on SD [and they dont need installing then?]?

It is emminently possible (probable even) that Exchange support requires API support that isn't available in builds prior to Cupcake. I'm not saying that is definitely the case of course, but I really don't see any developer being particularly interested in checking it out in the older builds when there is new stuff to be played with unless they specifically want it themselves. YMMV of course!

How did people do exchange? I tried and get account cant be created. Im not trying to create an account! Is there any trick to it?

There was no trick to it when I used it. I kept reading where people were saying it doesn't work, but I tried it anyway...
I had it up and running in just a couple of minutes, no trouble at all. I was connecting to an Exchange 2007 server.
Another option, for now, is to use the Moxier Mail beta. Right now it's free, so until the Magic ROM bugs get worked out (MMS not working for no reason, microphone too sensitive to background noise) I'm using that for my Exchange needs. It works just as flawlessly as the built-in support in the Magic ROM, so far.

I'm currently getting my work email using POP3 access. It works and I get my emails, but I have one gripe. The phone never notifies me when I have email, I have to open HTC Mail and to find out. I have Mail Notifications on, as well as Vibrate and Sound...Anyone having similar issues?

I got the same problems as you. I have tried and tried but keep getting authentication errors saying my username and password arent correct but I know they are correct. I think it might be that my employer uses exchange 2003 and maybe the activesync/exchange cant use exchange2003. I dunno though, just a guess.
I will use touchdown in the meantime.

Mun's new build, does it worth it?

Does it really worth waiting for a good cooked rom which has Mun's new rom as a base? What is the difference between the old build and the new ona, except the numbers?

There's two (and probably more) answers to this...
1) We are a bunch of geeks and some simply have to have the highest version number no matter if there are any benefits or not
2) Its a new release, and people want to hack away at it and conquer the challange that mUn has given them (again, its a geek thing )

Still seeing the "turn on screen" issue, if I understand the symptoms as you're referring. If the phone's not locked, every 30 seconds or so after the backlight goes out, it will "wake up", as if program updated.
Enabling device lock stops this behavior.

hi!, actually the issue happends when the lock option is enable and the phone is locked. After a few seconds or minutes the screen suddenly turns on. The only workarround that works is to uncheck the backlight auto turn off feature.
Lock option + turn off backlight enabled = issue
Lock option + turn off backlight disabled = no issue

I can confirm that it happens t some devices and doesn't happen to others.
I have T-Mobile MDA G3, my sister has the same T-mobile MDA G3 too. I have installed every single application that I have on mine to hers. And made two identical devices. (except she contumized her theme, sound, etc) And they both have the same ROM from the Faria's kitchen.
But, my device works fine, and doesn't have that waking up problem, whereas hers has.
So, this might help you to resolve the problem...

You know, it's no wonder why I feel so at home here! I could not have summed it up better myself. I might add bragging rights, but in my world when I tell someone I cooked my own rom and flashed my phone to the latest OS. People look at me like I am from Mars!! My wife says, "Thats nice Dear..."
In a word, no. I've already pulled the goodies from MUN's rom to make a better Business Edition. In other words, you can take out Office, .net CF SP2 and Windows Live and build a ROM based on an earlier build that is identical, more stable and requires less work. The latest BE will be released today to a few beta testers, and I can promise you that it will be more stable and less buggy than ANY of the 1413 builds. Better yet, it contains everything that BE2 had. Why have higher numbers when you can have a better ROM.

Let me edit this. I've got One Note working but the other components of Office will take a bit. I'm going to consult with the brains and get this ironed out. I believe Office 2003 will be sufficient for now.

Well, these are the symptoms of addiction. Experiencing this too. LOL.
I don't know if it is good or bad, but I know I am gonna stay away from this non-stop rom flashing for next 2-3 months since I am gonna totally be away from the internet during this next period of time...
reason is simple: speed.
Its Saturday and I've got nothing better to do than break my phone this morning
But I'm also wondering whether its worth bothering to upgrade from the previous WM6 build - I've got everything working pretty much as I like it at the moment.
Does the new build change anything with regards to Outlook when used with Exchange 2003 SP2? And is Office 2007 compatibility the only difference with Office Mobile 2007?

Argghhhhhh :( :( :(

I HAD a perfectly running rom a couple weeks back, was flawless, no crashes, no leaks....perfectly usable.
The problem is now in 2 parts.
The first: I cant keep myself from trying new roms, even if it is hardly any different from what i already have!
The second: I dont remember which was the rom that ran perfectly!
Now i'm soooo screwed, the last couple roms i've tried is such a nightmare to use
It leaks memory like crazy, gets real sluggish, completely comes crashing down. It crashes a billion times, the radio loses connectivity and i have to restart to get it to work again.....arghhhhh!
IF ONLY i was content with what was working and let it be.....damnit!
Now, I got to find some of the older roms and test them out again :-/

Imagine, using Universal just as a phone.
But, no.................
It has to be better than:
Desktop PC
Portable PC
GSM
Phone
PDA
Surf the net
Connect to whatever
Remind to be sub-servant to the other (better) half
.........
So, the never ending quest continues ......
Hey mate, remember we are talking about Universal......

Hi San,
Or it could be sheer boredom or you are in love with your Universal!
I WANT A NEW DRUG
I want a new drug
One that wont make me sick
One that wont make me crash my car
Or make me feel three feet thick
I want a new drug
One that wont hurt my head
One that wont make my mouth too dry
Or make my eyes too red
One that wont make me nervous
Wondering what to do
One that makes me feel like I feel when Im with you
When Im alone with you
I want a new drug
One that wont spill
One that dont cost too much
Or come in a pill
I want a new drug
One that wont go away
One that wont keep me up all night
One that wont make me sleep all day
One that wont make me nervous
Wondering what to do
One that makes me feel like I feel when Im with you
When Im alone with you
Im alone with you baby
I want a new drug
One that does what it should
One that wont make me feel too bad
One that wont make me feel too good
I want a new drug
One with no doubt
One that wont make me talk too much
Or make my face break out

Wondering what to do

Right click your rom downloads and go to properties to check the creation date, hopefully this will jog your memory. The gap in dates should hopefully give you a clue.

San, you must be dreaming or you logged in on the wrong forum!
Aren't most of us here love flashing ROM's not because we're looking for the perfect one but because we get high by trying the latest one and posting something like this: "a perfect ROM, extremely fast & stable BUT, ......"
There was never a perfect device or ROM for us, but let me give you a clue.
Which ROM is highly customizable, boots up with 29Mb free RAM even with HTC Home plug-in installed, able to retain 24Mb of free RAM after heavy use, seldom crashes, supports 128Mb RAM, perfectly usable by doing away with progs & tools you don't use anyway? Beat that!
Your guess is good as mine!
Do you mean you're going back to the Best WM5 ROM you ever had? The Darkforces Team ROM!
i have tried many and the one i felt in lovewith was NNcoung ROM. Its fast, stable, no memory leaks, 31+ of ram after reset, flash disk (the best of all since you can install all the apps you want here with no side effects) and vanilla so you can install whatever you want. try it you will see that is the best ROM for universal EVER.

Hi,
Have you used Mtty to format/clean your memory ? (sometimes it helps)
And indeed I should try Nncuong's rom.
Greetings,
Wout
wow wow wow!! So many replies, dont know which one to respond to ;o)))
I'm guessing all the 18538 based roms dont seem to be stable on my device setup. It was one of the earlier builds which worked good for me. The 18538 roms always bombed up on me and i kept reverting back to one of the older roms which was flawless. The problem is, I changed my laptop and i dont have the nk.nbf file which i had with me . So i'm waiting for the coming weekend to start the hunt all over again
Until then, i got to live with this fubar'ed POS :-/ Really gets on to your nerves when it crashes over 30 times a day (not exagerating...all i need to do is, be on a call and try and push a button, and the call's frozen. I cant disconnect the call, the END or disconnect hardware buttons all dont respond)
I guess i'll just jump to beastyleo's rom, only thing that doesnt work is a2dp for me, which is much better than this crash-fest, roach motel rom that i'm currently running on!
Cheers,
San
If you have a G3 device try this: http://www.sym-viet.com/nncuong/UNI_2_11_11_G3.rar
the only rom i saw without memory leak. Havent tried beastyleo's tho.
A2DP is really good, it freezes device but just press play button on your headset to unfreeze happens once per day avg.
I only can say................ we made big progress today
And update is comming soon to your way......................

Universal Is A Useless Device!
Basically, Universal Is A Useless Device!
And, my friends and my relatives think that I have a big head
WHY?
The basic function of the Universal is Phone. As a Phone it is a useless device even with Windows Mobile 5. It is slow, eats up batteries, has crashes and so forth.
It is very bulky, always has to be carried in the hands. With a belt clip it is immense. It is impossible to use while driving. And, even the voice command is useless as it gets the number wrong most of the time.
So, welcome to Windows Mobile 6, which is not supported by HTC for Universal. It is the same story with Windows Mobile 6 and we are constantly re-flashing as it is full of bugs.
My friends and my relatives tell me that I have a big head, as they call me and that I never return their missed calls. I have painfully explained them about Universal.
So, they say buy a new phone. I tell them that I bought by Xda Exec in the first part of this year!
So, buy a new phone if you want to be in touch with your friends and your relatives. What I do!
I go in July of this year and buy Jasjar. Another Universal!
When I bought it, I told my self that I will only use it for Phone!
Now I own two Universals, several standard and large batteries. Two sim cards and several cases. Lots of different mono and stereo bluetooth and so forth!
Now I am constantly flashing both of my Universal. My friends and relatives still complain about the miss calls. So, now I am thinking to buy a small HTC Phone for just only Phone purposes.
But, I am also thinking to upgrade both of my Universal to 128MB.
I guess, I have to prioritize????
Any betting man or woman out there!

Hi San,
It looks like we are both having the same problems with our uni.
You noticed that it could have something to do with ours being one of the earlier production models ?
FYI i'm now running build 18533.0.7.1 by Nncuong with radio 1.17.
And this is now running without any softresets for 48 hours, which is a new record for my *&@#% uni.
But I still love the thing, It's a hate/love relation
Could you let me know which roms run stable on your uni ?
And do you also sometimes find that it looks stable but after 8 or so hours it seems like the thing is "deteriorating" needing softresets increasingly more often ?
greetings,
Wout
(and also important, after 11 hours battery still at 89%, with light usage of phone )

Woww!!! Looks like you're speaking through my brain m8!!!
Especially the pseudo short-lived happiness with the new roms (18538 roms!) until all hell breaks loose!
As i've noticed, the nncuong roms, the darkforce (earlier) roms worked great for me. Right now, i've flashed thingonaspring's 3.2 rom, hoping this baby will hold up....lets see how it goes!
The mo3ulla rom (confirmed) was a nightmare on my device setup. Was the worst of the lot, mainly because of a serious memory leak problem. Harldy any time, and it drops to a skimpy 3meg free ram status with nothing running!
Was way too crappy to be used for anything at all, flashed over thingonaspring's rom (its a 18533 rom), i'm wishing this one would work fine for me....will post in and let you know how it fares...
cheers,
San

Can we get Exchange into one of the new builds?

I know there is a thread about the actual HTC app where folks were trying to get it from Haykuro H to G, but this same question keeps coming up in different threads so I just want to throw it out there. Do any of the 1.5 builds have Exchange sync capability built in and if not, can we figure out how to take the earlier HTC apk and supporting libraries and make it work? I know there are a lot of people like me who will be dying to move to the pure 1.5 dream code but won't until Exchange is available. I know there are some market apps that do this, but the HTC app works perfectly in Haykuro's older H builds and I wouldn't need any other functionality that might be offered by the pay apps.
I'm in the same boat. I'm using the 1.5H build and it's amazing how well the exchange integration works. Easily 100 times better than any paid app in the market.
I'd love to try and disassemble htc rom, but I just don't have any time for it. besides, it's DEEPLY integrated, not just an app. So I don't think it's as easy as extracting the .apk from the htc rom and installing it on another build.
That being said, I will add 'where there's a will, there's a way.'
So let's get to it guys!!

Wait, so the 1.5H that he released last night with and without Apps2SD has the Exchange integration from HTC? If so, is that because it is in the HTC ADP 1.5 release that came out yesterday?

No
5.02H(Sapphire Port) builds have Exchange support
1.5H is the latest HTC build specifically for DREAM/G! and does not have exchange support.
I've seen exchange removed from 5.02H with the Contacts/Sync that 5.XG has, so I don't see why the other way couldn't be done. I think it would be 3 files to get it working correctly, but not sure what those files would be from the sapphire port.
I could be way wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that there are differences in the underlying database structure (at least for contacts) between the HTC builds and the Google builds to facilitate Exchange support.
I remember copying over the libs and the apk and it not giving me an icon in the drawer.

I think you are right. I wonder what would happen if I pulled the apks for Exchange, Sync, AND Contacts from the H build and stuck it in one of the official 1.5 builds....I may try that tomorrow if I get off work earlier.

Be prepared to do a data wipe b/c I definitely know the two contact lists are not compatible.
My bad....I meant 5.02H...
I was reading about 1.5 as I was typing. Sorry for the confusion.
Other than in Haykuro's H builds, there is no Exchange sync correct? No one else's builds have it?
yes, it IS deeply integrated, the database used for contacts for example is different to accomodate the datasource where the entry belongs to and seems to have a different structure too.

[Q] Fearfully considering a rom

Sorry yal for being such a newB. this is my very first post and after reading on here for a few weeks and keeping up with the whole Android community, I can see that if I am going to wait to get 2.2 on my Captivate from AT&T, I better be far more patient than I am. Just so tired of the thing lagging and hanging on email.
I am considering flashing Cog 3.04. These are my concerns.
I use my phone for business and this phone is my life. So with that here are my questions.
Will my exchange email work well after the flash?
Will my pop email also work properly after the flash?
Is the phone clear and the signal strong after this flash?
Will my BT device still work at least as good as it does today.
Does the whole device work that much better?
I did root the phone yesterday and it was scary. But I can follow directions well so I figure chances of success are pretty good if I do it.
Thanks everyone
Exchange email should work on any rom but there are some that report issues.
Signal will be the same or better
Bluetooth will work
Phone will be faster with some more features.
If your phone is that crucial to you I can not stress enough to understand what you are sound and how to recover before you move. It is easy, but there are allot of little things to learn
I have not used Cog so I can't really answer your questions as to that image, but I can recommend Continuum. The ROM seems to be very stable and works good. The answer to your questions above with Continuum are yes.
I would assume that Odin is all I need to get back?
Starting to get up nerve to do this.
Yes, you would use Odin to get back to stock.
It's ok to be very careful when flashing roms. I've used both Cognition and Perception roms and had great success.

As someone that's on ATT and has a captivate, I went through what you are going through. I use my phone for business a lot and had the same misgivings. I just did my first flash to a rom (Cognition as well) and can tell you a few things that I noticed.
1. Make sure you backup any pics, files u want to keep (music, videos and so forth). Use titanium backup to backup your apps and sms as well (I didnt backup my sms and lost them, but it wasn't a big deal lol)
2. After flashing to cog, I noticed how much faster the phone was. Call quality and bluetooth are same. Exchange works for me.
3. Picture messaging, you might have to set up a new APM..settings are on here or pm me for details.
4. Make sure your contacts dont have ( ) in them..mine did and the incoming calls weren't recognized and there was a issue too with texting I think. (Assuming your contacts are synced with gmail..if not, back up those too)
5. Only really bothersome thing is battery life..seems it drains battery more..I re-calibrated my battery stats last night though, so will see how it is today...
Otherwise..enjoy
Please read this.

Thanks Tyggy. That is pretty much what I was hoping to hear.
All of my contacts and schedule information I sync using active sync on Exchange. I just about have enough info to give this a shot.
ademarne, I have read that thread. I already chose my ROM and would have posted any questions in the Cog thread, but I have less than 10 post and could not post in that forum.

As far as your exchange email goes, I highly recommend TouchDown by NitroDesk. It supports push notification from Exchange server directly. I often get exchange emails on my phone before I get them in Outlook on my desktop. Look for Exchange for Android 2.x in the market.
Adam I am loving FireFly 2.0.5 best ROM I have tried. Should be one that everyone takes a look at.

Performance is really killer
But I have battery life problems, even with chef/user suggested optimizations
On stock I used to get a solid day. If battery life is important to you, dont switch

I get any where from 12-18 hrs of heavy use on my build. I am not sure what qualifies as a day, if I charge for like 1hr in the middle of the day I easily go from 5:30 am till midnight
Thanks everyone. I jumped in both feet. Flashed the phone and got her all setup again.
So far everything I use seems to work well. Which basically is email, web, and phone calls. Haven't setup the BT yet and will do that sometime today. I did a quick GPS check and it seemed to get a lock. but I have another GPS so that function really isn't important to me.
The only thing I notices was Haptic is a bit light when typing and the volume now doesn't have vibrate and then silent. But I can live with both of those things.
Battery seems to be draining a bit faster. A day for me is an easy 18 hours. But I also keep a charger with me in the car and in my offices. I will just make sure I keep things charged. Maybe get a spare battery for those times I can't charge.
Other than that, I say good job DG. The phone is much faster and it works now as I had hoped when I bought it.
By the way, anyone who is scared to do this, follow directions step by step. It was easy.
I highly recommend TouchDown by NitroDesk

I use that on our office phones. Our company has the Motorola Droid and TouchDown works great on them.
I need to have 3 emails since I work 2 jobs, and having one box to check is one feature TouchDown can't offer me.
Also I did try using it on the stock Cappy and it still was very slow and laggy.

Terrible.

After a week with this phone my general consensus is that it works terribly.
First, let me say the hardware is great and the industrial design, the look, is top notch and the only reason I still have the phone.
HTC has really made this phone bad and AT&T hasn't helped by not letting us put our own rom on it to fix the major issues.
Firstly, Gmail push email only works when it wants to work. This is a 2007 issue that's been solved for half a decade.
When I leave my house and I try to use data, the phone shows as still being connected to my WiFi and therefore no data will work. So I have to manually turn wifi off.
Multitasking? Yea right. At first I was puzzled as to why after switching back to an app it would restart. Was the phone running out of RAM? Doesn't it have 1GB? Turns out it's a software thing. Again, multitasking was an issue solved in 2007.
These are the only major issues with this device, and they are major because it affects me multiple times a day.
If this phone didn't have great hardware and look awesome I would have returned it the same day.
The fact that these issues can all be solved by flashing another rom gives me hope that this will someday be a useable device.
Just needed to rant.

I have to admit: the multitasking thing really bothers me. I can't duplicate it on my Gnex and that alone makes me wonder about this phone. It seems to go against everything Android stands for. If I wanted a phone that saves states, I'd use my iPhone.
Love the camera on this phone and the screen is amazing. I love some of Sense's customizations such as the Facebook and Twitter integration in contacts, but they seem to have kind of ruined ICS. My GSM Gnex got just as good battery life with full blown multitasking.

Do you know if we would use cm7 or any other custom rom that we would be able to multitask properly? That is bothering me as well. It keeps reloading everything. If the hardware wasnt so nice, it would have gone back already.
I would imagine so. I think Sense is prematurely killing apps to save memory.

seriously??
its obviously whatever they set as the default mem manager and how aggresive they set it, probably to do with the scheduler too
i can replicate that behaviour on my cappy by adjusting mem manager to aggresive....so..i wouldnt fault the phone. theyll either adjust it in an update due to feedback, or we can just control it ourselves once we are all on a custom rom.
you shoulda known this if youve ever run any sort of custom rom....one would think. but now you do....so fret no you must young padiwan, good things coming they are, wait you must.

I have no doubt that something like Cyanogenmod would resolve this, but I don't want to install a custom rom and shouldn't have to. The phone should work correctly without hacking it.
From the few responses I have seen from HTC reps that users have contacted, they don't seem to think this is a problem. They claim this is "how multitasking is intended to function". That tells me a fix will not be forthcoming.

I'm not trying to troll, but how do so many people that want to run stock end up on xda lol? I love the hacking & experimenting aspect of Android. That being said, I don't really see any problems with the multi-tasking outside of the browser reloading so much (I've been using Firefox more anyway & it works fine). My galaxy nexus wasn't that much better either. Could htc have done a better job? Sure, probably. But the phone is pretty impressive, multi-tasking issues aside.

You may have noticed (or not, depending on how observant you are) that not every post on here is about hacking, modding, and rooting. Some people actually come here to talk about the phones, report bugs, compare notes, ask questions, etc.
Multitasking is much worse than a browser refresh. Start up Pandora or Slacker and let them run in the background. They will die. Start a game and then open a few other apps and come back to the game and it will completely reload and lose all progress. This is not how Android multitasking is supposed to work.
And I'm sorry, but waiting for a custom rom to make this phone work correctly is like buying a Macbook Air, getting nonstop kernel panics and hoping that someone will release a version of Linux that you can install on it to make it run correctly.

I do understand that there are plenty of non-development threads given that this is in "general". Nobody is making you keep the phone and wait for a fix either. But you are right, it is a vital function of the phone and you would expect it to perform as it's supposed to. Every phone I've owned has had some kind of flaw or quirk and the developers here do an awesome job fixing them as well as making the phone better in almost every aspect fairly quickly.
*Edit - So after thinking about it, I realized that I haven't really used the multi-tasking feature all that much and decided to put it through some tests. Apparently it does suck lol so I apologize ...using home to exit current app then going back to a previously used app via the launcher does work a little better, but there is definitely some work to be done
Rants are good. Gets the word out on issues that hopefully get resolved.
At least be accurate with your rant. From a little googling the Tmobile G1 was release in 2008 and Gmail push was released in 2009, not 2007.
I have never really understand why htc...spend money make their own sense android... and they know people will try anything to get aosp back...
also those people who has galaxy nexus and tries to port sense...UI....god...they must have time....
I went to a store to try this device tonight. The hardware and screen are simply awesome. Sense even looks nice and the UI was lightning quick. It is really disappointing that basic things like WiFi-3G handoff and multitasking are not working right...things I've taken for granted for awhile on CyanogenMod. I agree with others, I was hoping to not have to mess with custom ROMs at all, by now it should just work great out of the box. Now I have to monitor the software situation here and compare to the SGSIII when it's released.

on the other side....hehe
Multitasking is the only system/device problem that everyone has. I have zero wifi issues and zero push issues. Not everyone got stuck with a buggy One X. Just sayin.
