I am currently developing an application using the G-Sensor of HTC's Touch Diamond and I was wondering if it is possible to get values like pitch, yaw, roll and angular speed and angular acceleration for each axis?

no no... this isn't right. we decided that development questions go in the Dev&Hack section so that developers can get their answers as fast as possible.
I also suggest going to the diamond's section as there are many people who deal with G-sen apps there.
Anyhow, does anybode have an idea?

I'll hopefully get my HTC TyTN delivered end of this week.
Upfront a few, but essential questions (sorry if misposted here but there isn't yet something like a HTC Hermes group):
1. Green Home Screen
Some of you like it, I was a bit shocked. Also I'm of the opinion that the contrast is better with the traditional blue colored Home Screen.
Has anyone of you any idea on how to switch back to the traditional blue colored homescreen ?
Would that be an easy task or require modification of the firmware ?
2. HSDPA/EDGE Hack
As far as I know the TyTN also supports EDGE. Btw: can anyone confirm this ?
While the EDGE Tweak works perfectly on my MS Smartphone (Qtek 8300), will it also work on the TyTN ?
Is there also a HSDPA Tweak, thus enabling e.g. a "H" instead of an "U" ?
3. PDF User Manual
Does anyone know where it can be downloaded from ?
Is it on the CD delivered with the device ?
If so would anyone be so kind as to upload it to the ftp ?
4. Customized Case for the TyTN
The case for the Wizard should fairly fit, though maybe not perfectly.
If you compare the dimension of the Wizard and the TyTN in particular the lengths are different by some 4mm, which could make the case not fit so well.
Has anyone already seen a customized case specially designed for the TyTN ?
Is there one delivered within the box ? If so does it fit well and look cute ?
5. HTC Hermes Forum

i was wondering why diamond users should have a separate subforum for themes and applications ?
we have our own designers and developers , most of tweaks conflicts when we're using diamond's tweakers , some themes dont have portrait icons or same things always happens ...
we should have same sub forum ...
dont u guys think ?

true, but if we have a themes/whatever forum, then its going to be full of links/duplicate content in the diamond forum...

We can post application/themes related posts in appropriate forums. When something is related to a device only, we can post in the device forum.
I'll second the req, even though i dont have a raphael yet, but once/if i get the Fuze it would definitely be helpful to have things separated...
I agree - I'm loving the fact that there has been a few months' worth of development on the Diamond ahead of the Touch Pro, however there are quite a few incompatibilities...even if it were just a subforum on the Diamond Apps forum for Touch Pro specific threads...

Hey Gen. Ranz, What's up? I just flashed Hyperdragon 11-01-08 yesterday and find it to be great so far. Not much speed difference if any.
Kaiser -->touch flo 2D with 240*320 screen
Raphael --> Touch Flo 3D with 640*480 sceen
so...
I don't see any difference in speed in the camera app.. You need side-by-side and same movements. If anything, the Raphael camera seems to take better quality videos (hence some of your placebo effect).
Also TF2D vs TF3D.. Are you on crack?

This might be quite easy for you to do, but I've just bought an HTC Touch Diamond and I'm still learning.

Hi, Does anybody know whether the accelerometer inside HTC Magic obtains acceleration readings from calculating the data generated by the digital compass built in the phone? Or the accelerometer and the compass actually generate the data independently?
