So I know a lot of app devs frequent these forums, but are there any game devs here? Anyone with OpenGL experience?

Hi everyone,
I'm a skilled 3D artist and animator. I would like to contribute in any way to our dear Android comunity, since i'm not so experienced with programing, the best way to contribute would be through art.
Here is a link with my portfolio (not so up to date...)

At the moment i'm not interessed in making money, i want to produce something really good. I see a lot of great (FREE) games, with nice concept but visually it could be better. I'm not in any way saying I'm the guy or that i'm better than anyone here, i know here are many talented people. I Just really want to get into this growing Android world, helping developers with something i can do.

Hey guys,
With the amazing specs of the Nexus One, and the JIT compiler of Froyo, I was wondering if there was some way that the open source client for Runescape could be ported to Android. I know, Runescape isn't that great of a game, and i agree. I would definitely play it on the go. Everyone could enjoy a multi million MMORPG on the go, that's fully developed. I believe it could be perfect for Androids. Thanks in advance.

id be willing to help in any possible way.
It could be possible, seeing as it's Java powered. I'm not much of a developer though, so I can't say for sure.
yeah my thoughts exactly, wonder if any developers are willing.
Uh, this would be so awesome
im intrested to
im intrested to and with tegra2 hummingbird etc this should run pretty smooth if not seamless.

It looks like this thread has been stale for a while, has there been any progress?
I don't know but I would like to see this happen so I posted the link to this thread on the main android games thread so more people will see it.
game client converstion
not to rain on your guys parade or anything, but even if we were able to get the Game Client converted, that doesnt have anything to do with playing the game. The game client is something you download so you dont have to use your internet browser to play the game. thats all it does, you arent "downloading" the game or source for it
But on the bright side, i have been looking into how to play rs on your phone without the need for remote desktop
btw if you wanted to, you could do an emulator until the game does get ported over =P about as close as we can get for now

This is one of my first posts in this forum, but I actively read and have read it for awhile now. I own a company which contracts work with Facebook gaming companies to write their content. It was through this that I came up with an initial idea for an android (and potentially iphone) based game which I feel may have some real potential in the market. I would love to see it reach fruition, but I personally have no experience in developing and coding. I'm looking for a developer who might be willing to go in with me 50/50 on a game idea. It would be a complete risk on your part as there's a chance the game could go no where. However, there's also the chance that it could be the next Angry Birds. If your into writing games and you might be interested, shoot me a pm and we can talk more. Thanks!
Port Temple Run from iOS to Android (request)
"Hello,
We're looking for an exceptional individual (not company) to help us port our hit iOS game Temple Run to Android. Temple Run has been a wild success for us on iOS (currently in the top 50 free apps) and we're getting a ton of requests to port it to Android. You can check out the game here:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/temple-r ... 09108?mt=8
We'd love to be on as many platforms as possible, but we're just 3 people and don't have the bandwidth to do it ourselves. So that's why I'm here. We're looking for someone to port it for us. Ideally, I'd like to find a talented individual who has Android game development experience who wants to take this project on. Compensation is negotiable, we can do a fixed price contract, revenue share, or a combination of both.
If you're interested in the job, PM me or email me at kshep at imangistudios dot com with some details on who you are and why we should hire you.
Thanks!
-Keith"

Your so right, but this is the only reason. [and stabillity actually but thats it!]
Hi, Xda Android community. I am really excited to share my game with you. Which is in beta and I am testing with multiple users to improve the game for better quality and user experience.
This is a simulation game where you serve people with multiple dishes from across the globe the way they are served. Serve customers and get money in return to run your business to more cities.
Download the Game for Android here!
I am still working on the graphics and development and would love your feedback. I spent almost 6 months designing and developing this game. Still working on the animation.
Hope you guys like it. Please let me know if you found anything which can help. I'd be really really thankful.
