I LOVE this forum and my new AT&T Fuze. I've been playing around with, and utilizing lots of the cab files and registry tweaks through here.
I finally have my Fuze just the way I like it, with custom buttons along the TF3D and a pretty home screen, along with minor modifications and tweaks. Yet, I have one unanswered fine-tuning I'd like to do...
I've searched and searched the forums and don't see this... Can anyone tell me how to change the wallpaper for all the tabs - 'except' for my Home screen and which won't mess up any of my custom tweaks that I've already done?

Has anyone figured out how to extend TF3D, such as adding new custom tabs? I would like to add a Stock tab to TF3D, and it would be great if I could quickly gain some knowledge about the inner workings of TF3D without having to disassemble TF3D components... but I haven't seen any posts with this type of info (although I suck at searching xda).
I have seen things like the Diamond TF3D Config that allow me to hide tabs... but I want to add a brandnew tab.
Thoughts?
hello all, first new topic so go easy on me. anyway, i read through a lot of ppl not being able to figure out the transparency slider, but that is not my issue. my issue is i cannot change the today background image period. i can select it, but the today screen never changes. i know it worked the day i bought it, but it does not work now. the only things i have done to it so far was to unlock it and change from the sprint clock to the flip clock. would either of those mess up my ability to change the background image?
It depends if you're doing the today background or the touch flow 3D background. If you have TF3D running it covers the traditional background that is changed in Start->Settings->Today. Instead scroll to the settings tab in TF3D and look for the wallpaper setting there.
I think there is a CAB floating around here that will push the TF3D wallpaper to all tabs.
wow, thank you. i feel like an idiot now that i could not figure that out. i will have to find that cab you speak of b/c this pic looks amazing when used with the sprint theme.
Oh sweet theres a cab that changes all the background? Where can I find that? PS my device is stock non flashed ROM since its corporate.
i am still looking. i found one for the diamond that ppl are trying but it seems to only work on certain roms. i will keep searching as i only like to apply mods that are proven to work.

slyng1 found the cab that I used. I have NATF's 1.1 ROM (basically the ATT ROM minus the bloatware) and the Black Touch Pro theme installed through Diamond TF3D Config and the cab works great.
I have a few basic questions about my phone, and somethings I hope to do to it. I have the AT&T Fuze phone, still on AT&T also.
My questions are:
~Is there a way to remap keys (mainly the PTT button) without having a custom ROM?
~Can I alter the bottom slide icons order, current order is home-people-mail-etc.
~The home screen with the keyboard slide out, is there a way to change what these icons do or launch? Ex. Web search, can I change the default web search? Can I reassign messages to go to the IM program?
I was hoping to not have to do a custom ROM for any of these, a bit of background. I had both iPhone's prior to this and did all the jailbreaking/unlocking (still do for others), and with WinMo I feel I can do all this work but it already lets me do so much. Just a few simple changes and I would be set.

everyone is going to tell you search, but basically you can do all that stuff...i would recommend flashing your phone with a new ROM and installing tf3d config

Thank you, I have attempted some searches and mostly come up with custom roms. If anyone has links to how to do these things, it will surely help just as much.

Remap landscape icons -- many are working on this. Stay tuned.
I also suggest you read the wiki.
Just after reinstalling all my apps after some heavy experimentation I lost my 4 icons across. I installed a provisioning xml for Advanced Config 3.3 I found in the Raphael forum than had various fixes. The problem is after installing and soft reset I lost the 4 across icons (now 3 across) and I also lost the nice large menus for the softkeys.
Does anyone know how to fix this so I don't have to reinstall all my apps and st my Fuze back up? I did some searching and found a cab in the Blackstone forum, but I just want an Advanced Config answer so I know what is going on especially with the menus.

The TouchFLO 3D home screen isn't like a normal Today screen; it differs in that it's not directly customizable. You can't, for example, just add a plug-in to the home screen.
There are several additional tabs available here on XDA-Devs, or you can read up on editing Manila files, which use Lua, in order to customize your TF3D yourself. The latter isn't for the faint of heart!

There is limitless customization available depending on what you want.
It should ike you are running just WM today? TF3D is the bomb interface but there are others such as SPB Moobile Shell, Ultimate Launcher, etc....
I run 3 different interfaces simultaneously.
