hey everyone just thought id bring some of my program ideas to the board
if anyone is interested in making them as i have no programming knolage..
ok the 1st is a wmp skin creator i have searched since wm3 was out for something like this but never found it i mean common its only a skn file thats got text in it shud be easy iv got lots of skin ideas but just dont have time to finish them as it took me ages to make my darkling skin
ok the 2nd green one is a Pen Optimized Skin for Longhorn-era Tablet PCs wich i think is realy cool ui (winhec today)
so i developed on the idea and tryed making it more pda/ppc related
and came up with the end 3 images.
and my last idea was a origami umpc style fullscreen keyboard
i was going to make this in spb fsk but recently all the codeing has
changed for the skins so im hoping someone can come up with
an alternative hopefully free version or even make this ?
let me know what you think of these ideas.
I like your keyboard idea. Its a really interesting form.
It should be a little smaller though.
I'm thinking as an option, that the keyboard should be split in the middle to reduce the size, with no symbols showing
I also like your 3rd idea.
I haven't used ThrottleLauncher, but it seems like it would be a good skin for it.
I'm not a programmer either, I just like to design stuff, think of program ideas too.
more then a whole year and no one found anything,or didnt post..
I'm liking the keyboard layout too.
im working on he keyboard idea but will be for Wvga as anything smaller would be silly i think

Does anyone have this orange Today theme? It looks pretty cool IMO and I'd love to get my hands on it:
http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=508
Looks cool, mainly coz of the orangeness -).
doese anyone have this theme?
Wasn't this in the Eten rom?
V
Think youre right vijay - i remember that someone has rebuild it for htc-devices - i think it has been offered or linked in this forum.
Let me think about it...
Hehe, this is another "use the search function!"-post!
Here you are : http://www.paulya.com/dialerskins.htm
There are lots of other cool designs inspirated by the eten-dialer... But i think its only for QVGA.
There also was a todaytheme from the eten, but i cant find it. But it does not look that cool like the skin on the picture - i dont think it exists in that way - this skin only was an example for ms' adds, that even the skins now are costumizable - for commercial reasons...
Hmm...that's too bad there's no Today theme, as my device is non-converged, I can't make use of those amazing phone dialer skins.
I know that there was a little conversation in another thread somewhere about it, but I've searched and cannot remember where it was. I was just wondering again if there is any program that will be able to load a skin that takes up half of the screen, to make a bigger more iPhone like keyboard.
Although I don't actually have SPB full screen keyboard, it looks like it may be the sort of thing needed, but I am not sure if it only does full screen or not.
Any comments/help appreciated
Thanks,
James
Are you talking about the Happy Typing Keyboard? I use it for short typing but I still use SPB Full Keyboard for longer messages. Search it by name and you should find it.
Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317962 , still in development, but when skinned and tweaked, it will be really cool.
i am looking for a kind of software or windows mobile 6 aplication that can change the keyboard color not the (digital) keyboard .................. the real keyboard (like color pearl in blackberry) or something like that please help me i want some thing to make my T- mobile wing cooler or better please...............thanks

Closest I can see is the Resco keyboard, which allows you to make your own skins. It does cost $20, though, which is hard to swallow. If you want an awesome file manager + photo viewer, though, it's much easier to digest as part of the whole pack.
I've no idea if there's any freeware keyboard skinners out there, but there's bound to be.
edit: bah! beat me to it

I know this won't help, but why, oh why, would you use the stock keyboard over any of the keyboards available?
You have to wait for the "HTC Kameleont"!

LMAO
Man are you serious?
Anyway, I think you should wait for the upcoming "HTC Kamelont"!
It is supposed to come out sometime 2012 and it will also have stealth capabilities among its many functions, and yes it will be able to change both shape and colors without you having to install any new software!
Now, how cool is that?
Oh and please, dont tell anyone about this, it is supposed to be a secret! But I am an insider!
Its interesting to find something like this, though i had my ti's back in high school days, for some strange reason i haven’t ran into this only a while back, the reason is i miss my ti89 but i hve my tilt with me all the time, i do not carry my ti89 but this puts any ti on the pocketPC device
It does work but for the smaller screens then PDA's some of the skinning needs to be tweaked IMO and there are almost no other skins for it, not to mention this was done for 2003
I wonder if anyone has the skills to make nice skins for this, i know the ti86 skin is lacking and the ti89 rom seems a bit slow on my tilt :/ so for basic things i would like to use ti83/ti86
what i would love is, more functionality, like a press and hold to zoom in on a selected area and to press + hold and zoom say on the screen...
also a landscape format would be very nice so that those with keyboards could use the keys
the source for this would be nice, but i dont see it, maybe some dev's can contact those individuals? and open up that project? as pda/pocketPC's are getting pretty powerful and with bigger screens
get it at http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/309/30978.html

BTW, don't forget to also read my dedicated bible in the Wiki.
Hey Guys,
Yesterday I installed Cookiemonsters HomeTab on my HD2 and it is really awesome, but then I though about what else would be to improve on this phone, and I personally did like the old contacts tab way better than the new one. Is there already a fix I did not find, providing this or is anyone else interessted in something like that?
regards
brandi
If you like the old TF3D look, try GTX Sense.

Here is my HD2 after an hour of setting it up....
I am not looking for the old Iconset or something but i would like to have the old Contacts Tab back, with the contacts on the right side, and the details in the middle, a little like on the email tab..
noone else interested?
I'm certainly interested. I prefer the old style as well.
I am interested as well. I know the newer version is quicker and you can see more people at once, however the old style is alot slicker. I like the ones on Sense for Android as well, especially the Text one. I am hoping someone has the knowledge to do something because I know I don't have the knowledge.
