I have a large image that I scan weekly and save as a Google Document.
After rooting my G1 and updating to the latest JesusFreke ROM I am unable to pan across the whole image.
It stops a third of the way through and without the ability to zoom in or out.
I logged into an unrooted G1 and was able to pan across the whole document with the zoom function intact.
Can anybody shed some light on this issue??
Thanks.
try a jf rom without multi-touch as this impacts the zoom feature when the hack is enabled.
Hrmm... So is there a way to disable multi touch without having to reflash? There's the option in the browser settings to disable auto rotate but nothing for multi touch.
I dont know if the multi touch hack on the browser is an issue or not but if it is the case i believe you dont have to reflash, you can just reinstall the browser and you'll be fine. To test out if it's the multi-touch on the browser I would go download Opera or Steel browser from the market and try opening your google doc through there.

Hey everyone,
I was just curious, how would I go about assigning my Voice button (Hold) to turn on my flash? I like to use my phone as a flash light sometimes ^_^
Just curious as to see if anyone has done this. Maybe i'll turn it into an OEM Package.
Don't know about the 8125, but with my 8252 I just use VJCandela v0.3; it brings up a small screen and by touching the icon turns on the flash for each touch, or locks the flash on (not recommended for very long)
Vijay's site is HERE and there are many apps available for your use
Enjoy!
I just flashed my HTC Touch Pro with the latest generic HTC ROM (5.05.405.1 WWE, 03/04/09, radio version 1.11.25.01, protocol version 52.58.25.30U) with the aid of a friend as I'm new to the whole flashing bit, and now I can't lock my screen. Long press end key now just flashes the screen black for a second then goes back to being unlocked. The same thing happens if I configure long press end to pop up a list, and then select lock from there.
Help?
s2u2......
Thanks for the suggestion, and it's definitely not a bad workaround... I was just hoping that someone would have a fix so I can quickly lock it with the button again.
I had the same problem. You can use Spb Mobile Shell. It has a part program name 'Lock Device'
Me too with the new ROM.
But I noticed it after I installed lots of software.
However, if I disable the TF3D and enable the device lock from setting>today, I still able to lock the device from the screen.
Wonder is it:
1) Problem with TF3D in new ROM
2) Software incompatibility causing "long press end key" unable to lock
I use search for the keylock but can't find.
Any genius to help out? Thanx...
Same problem here. With the new ROM it's not locking anymore as it was first possible. I dont want to use another software, this should work!
Hello All,
This is my first post and I don't know if I out of the line for asking this, or am I violating any rules.
I been looking and searching in the HD2 form here in XDA-developers since I got my HD2 about 2 month now. There is one thing I don't quite understand: how the full landscape works for home screen.
I seen post that said the theme have to support the landscape mode, but is there anyway to adjust the phone to make all themes runs in landscape mode?
If there is what program I need and what I need to do?
If possible please let me know.
Thank you all in advance.
i'm not sure if this compatibility is built into the energy rom i have flashed to or if it is available on all stock roms...try this and let me know what you get. press start(or windows button) /settings/personal/buttons...choose the long press hold option for the send key and choose rotate screen option from the list of choices. you can manually press and hold the send key when you want a landscape view of your app or theme... also if you search bsb tweaks this app is able to configure auto rotation of apps via the g-sensor... hope this was of some help.
Or take a look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=637671
23/2 -10 TX_Total_Landscape.cab -does what the name says, total landscape means also startmenu
Install this and try it.
Great let me try to mess around with it.
or what you can do is just get the bsb tweak, go to the rotation section -- select the options to rotate and head to the home screen and shake the phone. bsbtweak will recognize what you want to rotate and then restart the phone.
there you go... rotated home screen.
i tried all that, but it only display left half of the screen. does the theme i use have to support landscape mode for it to work?
Can anyone let me know what is causing this problem on my phone??
I want to run landscape mode but every time I enable Landscape it leave me with screen problem (The photo attach are screen shots for my phone running in land scape mode [right side is the bottom], where the black screen is the home screen, the photo tab and music tab are also mess up.)
I mean my phone runs perfectly fine in portrait mode but once I enable landscape I have problem
I tried enable landscape with bsb tweaks, Touch tools, Gconfig and all 3 program leave me with the same screen problem. (I can enable landscape and turn off rotation but that is just portrait mode again.)
I am using official Traditional Chinese rom:
manila 2.5.1921161930
(I have CHT install)
And I really want to figure out how to run the phone in landscape mode without have to deal with a black screen on home screen. Can anyone help me???
You are using Windows Mobile 6.5. You cannot rotate these features in 6.5 unfortunately.
If you want to change this... grab yourself a new ROM... and flash it.
so i need 6.5X??? That blows.....
Is going to be hard to find a good Rom that support traditional Chinese....
I was wondering if anyone has come across any flash games/apps where you are able to use the keyboard dock while in full screen. I know it's not really playable, but the first example that comes to mind is playing Robot Unicorn Attack. It requires the 'Z' and 'X' keys to play. The dock keyboard "works" while flash is in windowed mode within the browser, but does not when the flash window is set to full screen.
Basically, my questions are:
1) Does flash support keyboards while in full screen mode?
2) If so, are any of you able to use the dock with a full screen flash game/app?
Thanks
