Hey everyone well sometime yesterday my phone got slow. When I put it to "Sleep mode" or lock mode(click the power button once) it just goes blank and it unlocks with any other button without pressing menu to unlock. My Home button and dial button are not working they are disabled. when i hold the Power button it only shows "power off" but it does not show the "Silent Mode" option. Any one have any idea what it might be? if so please let me know its really bugging me. also i have SMS Popup and it disables the reply button but i can click on the delete and close option.
Please send me a message here or to Email. [email protected]
Thx everyone!

I'm not sure how it's called in english rom, but in the settings system tab you should have somthing like "key lock" or somthing like that, there you can set optio to not to block keys when device is suspended
Thats what I have tried. It doesnt matter what option I set this to it always does the same thing; I always have to use the power button to wake up the device.
Is nobody else having a problem with this? Let me give a clearer explanation of the problem. I have set "Do not lock buttons" in Settings->KeyLock yet when my device is on standby the only way to wake it up is to press the power button. I would like to be able to press any button to get it awake. How can I do this?
Thanks
Allan
Oh well, looks like I am going to have to live with this behaviour

My Polaris does not behave like this. I have set the Key Lock to "Lock Buttons if Device is locked". And now I can wake the Polaris with any buttons as long as it was not locked before going to standby.
I have the same problem, but it is with my AT&T Tilt w/Q-Mobile rom.
If anyone cares at this point, reinstalling the rom fixed this problem for me.
I have no issue to this option. I used to select not to lock button but I turn on my phone by tapping the camera button accidentally when I put back my phone into the belt clip. Therefore I stop choosing this option and lock all button except the power button to turn on my phone.
Does any know how to make the screen turn on pressing the round button? During a call getting quick access is a pain having to press the power button.
No solution yet but it would be great....
Another great idea for the TP
Hi all, this is my first post here.
I'm using an HP iPAQ 914c phone but it has something that makes me very uncomfortable: not only the power button wakes up the device from suspended mode, but also the hang-down button. Sadly the hang-down button is easy pressed when the device is in my pocket.
Is there any setting or application which will allow me to set only the power button to wake up my device from suspended mode?
Thank you in advance.

i tried s2u2 some weeks ago but wouldn't work well since my screen is 320x240 (landscape), therefore I'm now using ThlottleLock which works like a charm, but still best option would be to simply use the power button to unlock, since that button can hardly be pressed by chance once the device is in my pocket.
So thanks for the suggestion, BUT the question remains open. Any ideas how to disable the wakeup function from the hang-down button?
I noticed in some of the online reviews that when turn on the lock screen on the HD2 and then hit the end call button the screen turns off. I have an Imagio that has the same buttons however when the lock screen is engaged and I hit the end call button nothing happens. Can anyone confirm that this works on the HD2 and if so could there be a reg edit that that is tied to this action?
Yes, works fine on my Leo. From standby > end call button > locked screen > end call button > standby.
Ok thanks for confirming, now I just need to find out where this setting is held.
have the same problem.
how to get it back to lock screen with the endcall button?
atm pushing it just turn off display.
I updated to the latest software version yesterday and since then when the screen is off and I long press the home button to turn it on it redirects me to the pattern unlock instead of showing me the lock screen with the time and notifications. Is a bit annoying as I pressed the home button before just to see the time or if I had new notifications and now I can't.
I have searched through the options but haven't seen anything.
Is there anyway to make it turn the screen on to the lock screen instead of the pattern input?
Turn off long press home button to unlock.

That was it! I saw the option but I thought I had to let it be turned on so long pressing the home button actually worked.
Thanks!
