Snapvue displays perfectly in landscape on the raphael so i was wondering if any of the devs here could do this:-
Have tf3d when keyboard closed and when opened instead of displaying the quick menu (or whatever it's called) display snapvue.

I originally posted this in the diamond section based on screen rotation with the g-sensor but it didn't get much attention. Would be more useful on the pro though anyway.

it doesn't display properly in portrait unfortunately.
I'm gonna try an app that allows a second today screen and see if that will sort it.
to get it to switch any other way is well beyond me

No need to be sorry.
Just think you misunderstood what i was saying.
I want tf3d in portrait and snapvue in landscape.
They are 2 different today plugins/screens and i would like to be able to switch between them when i change the screen orientation.
ok..!!
but can the tf3d can be made in landscape mode??
thx
Possible to have snapvue in Portrait mode?
I'm testing SnapVue in Diamond. It works fine in Landscape mode. Faster and more informational than TF3D. Possible to have snapvue in Portrait mode?
Hi,
I have an idea, is it possible to get 2 diffrent setting for our PPC, this idea come from we can have 2 diffrent wallpaper by using 3rd party apps. 1 on potrait and other in landscape.
And i wonder can we do the same with applications?? not just wallpaper??may be we can have Manilla 3D on potrait and Manila 2D in landscape??for example.
I know it's sound pintless but if we can have apps that control this, maybe we can later having 2 diff OS in 1 PPC , maybe WM7 OS on Landscape and Iphone OS on portait.
HAhaha... I hope some1 can have a developer inspiration breaktrough from my stupid and impossible idea hahhaa....
Good Day.....
sounds interesting...I'm sure a developer would have to modify the concept a little, but overall, something I'd like to see.
Bump! this would be great for those touchflo 3d/2d people who have landscape phones. A big complaint with touchflo is its lack of today screen plugin availability. Since touchflo isn't landscape, wouldnt it be great to be able to slide your keboard out so it goes into landscape and see your regular today screen?!?!?
I am lost here. I like Sense, seems cool enough, but I have a HW keyboard and would like to use it within landscape mode, why are so many HW keyboard phoen users jumping to Sense with no landscape?

Actually, in browser and apps, there is landscape mode but on the home scree no. well in hero 2.1 there is but that is not stable enough to use everyday.
There are some landscape CABs for Sense being developed I think (came across it in the Raphael section)
Personally I use the default WM6.5 Titanium home screen.
Hi guys,
Pardon my lack of knowledge in the subj. but do we have any app/ theme which can make use of the accelerometer and switch all the screens b/w Pot and Land mode. If possible please direct me to some writeup on how to do it.
Regards
go for FlipIt. Its the fastest rotationapp there is. PM me if you cant find it...as i am on my ppc
im using the screen rotation from AEButton, its awsome how i can rotate with just one button press =D
I think gyrator might be what your looking for, It worked fine for me...
try bsb tweaks awesome app and does a lot more than just turn the screen around such as zoom on all programs and other tweaks that make the htc hd2 a whole lot better. im not allowed to post the link to you as i am a new user myself, but search for
BsB Tweaks 1.6
and you should be able to find it
get Graytor 2 it rotate EVERY windows
Curious to see what you guys think about the best way to manage rotation on the HD2. Looks like Gyrator has the smaller footprint of the two I list. Wondering how you guys manage rotation on screens that are not natively supported like the Today screen, and so on.
Bump. Anyone?
By far the best solution is imo changeScreen! Works similar as Gyrator but it is more light weighted and it is also very reliable.

Interesting. Didn't work for me, but Gyrator is spot on. Guess I'll stick with that. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
Have you set up your changeScreen-configuration? E.g. the Manila home screen is by default on the exception list because it does not work with ANY program to rotate Manila 2.5 correctly (in later Manila versions the rotation support comes natively). But just try it e.g. within the startmenu or within any filemanager - everything works brilliantly because lots programs support rotation natively - HTC just didn't implement a proper use of the g-sensor... don't ask me why...
Ok, just tried it again and it's working with pretty much everything I want it to rotate, but it seems that eWallet doesn't play nice with either ChangeScreen or Gyrator.
One thing I noticed is that Gyrator seems to be faster in responding to changes. Not a deal-breaker, but just wondering why.
Bump this up to the top. Did either ChangeScreen or Gyrator allow for 180* rotation in Portrait?
I'd love to be able to the HD2 in a cup holder while driving and have the charging port facing up.
