I have a Omnia. I have installed PocketLAN and is able to brows my computer from the phone. I can also stream mp3 with Windows Media Player. But I can't stream Videos. I talking 700Mb .avi files. It stops and starts all the time, I think it's the buffering.
I have heard that Core Player can play this over network, but when I try to run the Coreplayer I just get "Unexpected error. Please send crash.txt to the developer. The Program will shut down".
How can I fix this? Please help.
/Christian
It works.
I got it working, and it plays the video quite good, stops some times to buffering? Is there anyway to get it run all the time, so i don't get this stops for buffering?

My orbit 2 appears to have developed a fault which I cannot find any other occurrence of on this forum.
Suddenly the whole device will crash every time I try to play any music file in either Audio Manager (my preferred application) or the default windows media player.
I have performed a hard reboot, reloaded all my songs into the Audio manager library but still the entire phone crashes every time I try and play a song.
My music would play in Coreplayer without crashing the system, but this program was rather slow and unstable with the volume of songs I have. The radio works unhindered.
Anyone got any ideas?
Solved the problem and thought I'd share the solution in case anyone else has trouble like this.
I discovered that seven files (music files and images) had corrupted on my storage card, and this seems to have caused problems for audio manager and windows media player. Data back up, then a formatting of the card have left the device working smoothly once more.
I have an Omnia 910. I installed wvd and coreplayer and I am having an issue with buffering. I can access everything I need to, but the stream buffers every 6-10 secs and is quite annoying. Can anybody help with settings or something that can point me in the right direction. Thanks
Hey,
I just got a TF300 and I've been trying to get video streaming to work on the tab. I'm using BubbleUPNP and I've tried about a dozen video players to go with it (dice player, vplayer, moboplayer etc etc).
The issue I'm having is that the video just randomly stops. I'm not having any issues relating to video quality or file formats. I'll be streaming a video and the video will just randomly stop, and because its streaming I can't resume at the same place I have to start again.
I have not yet managed to complete a single video without it being exited at a random interval. Its not always the same place, sometimes I'll get 20minutes in, other times 10minutes of the same video file.
I'm using iSedora media center to stream across my internal LAN. I've been using this program to stream to my TV without issues for over a year.
At the moment it looks like WiFi could be the culprit however
a) I've used WiFi Analyzer to find an unused channel for my router
b) I've tested the stream right next to my router at about -20dBm to -30dBm
c) I have tried a factory reset
d) I have tried 8dBi antenna and they just made my signal worse
Any assistance here would be amazing
Thanks
FMM
Have you tried UpnPlay?
Just so you can rule out the client.
i use emitapp for streaming - works perfectly over lan and at work.
it does allow resuming from a specific point in the video as well.
Hello
i purchased CS918 last week, and i have a little but annoying problem
when i stream a video it stops after exactly 5 minutes, if i open the streaming link again it will resume but still for exactly 5 minutes and stops again.
The video is smooth, doesnt freeze or anything.
In XBMC\Youtube it works fine, no stopping,
i tried changing players still doesnt help, tried switching between Wifi and Ethernet still the same.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
So I have a Poco X3 Pro and have run into an issue with the music on this phone. Whenever I connect to my car when I play the music it immediately stops and pauses no matter how many times I press it, I have checked the car and this does not happen with multiple other phones I have tried and it does not happen on any other Bluetooth device, I have attached a screen recording of what happens. It also happens regardless of the music player, either Spotify or Pi or the native player it does not work. I've also done the usual, restarted the phone disconnected and connected etc.
Link to the video of the issue is below;
