Does it SMS work?? Because the versions of WM6.5 i have know all cant read/send SMS
This rom awsome
SMS works ( both sending and reading)
Email works
Runs very fast ( free ram 20-21 MB)
Graphics are wonderfull
Phone works ( no missing calls)
Someone please translate it into WWE or I am going to improve my Chinese

Thanks alot bro I recommend you IPL,SPL 3,08 for this rom and Radio 3,02,11 (latest one) sometimes crashes try 2,19 please, except Chinese bug this rom is prefect
yea im using IPL,SPL 3.08 but and earlyer Radio as some people have been having problems with it, and thanx for the support

You better translate it but not start a new thread on it with the Download link to WM6.5 or Microsoft would attack you and you'll see what happens to u you can see the CRACING's Thread for the example and could you please PM me the Download link to WM6.5 translated into WWE English, when your done? because i really need it THNX

At the begining SMS was working well but after some time it stopped to work I can't understand why it happens.

After sync with my pc wizard receives all incomin messages and able to send messages, it is stable when you sync with pc :S but I may say that it is related with active sync or something about it.

I have the 21169 build. The home and menu screen is very slow in response to gesture. Device not reboot when charge with AC adapter.

Would much more have tried out itjes new 6.1 rom, but i'm very interessted in trying out the speed of 6.1 :=)

I had to give it a shot to compare with my rom...
The rom seems to work well, they have a newer build than mine.
There is more storage space than my rom but less apps.
But then my rom has about 2 + MB more for program.

But still believe me. WM6.1 is much faster and i only tested a non cleaned version.... let´s wait for itjes release and we will have fun with a non timebomb new build and fast stable rom...
i believe he will do it.
don´t want to force you - but wm6.1 is in base faster than wm6....
WM6.1 is like a Windows XP Service Pack upgrade
It makes your device more stable and faster

I see that you got the link to download this PDAviet release. Could you provide me with a mirror ? I can't seem to understand what the posts say I got the black version, but thats not 6.1.

Just tried their standard passwords. I think it was pdaviet/pdaviet or in upper case.

yupp, just flashed the PDAVIET one hour ago, looks stable...
Nice increase of speed with this rom, something I noticed right away. Was glad to see that the trim feature was working in AudioManager...this feature seemed to be "left out" from a few ROM's i've tried recently. Also it appears that the problem with the x-button and the left soft-key has returned which makes the task manager quite useless. A quick fix I suggest would be to use the task manager from batterystatus which can be assigned to a hardware key. This allows you to close programs without pressing the screen(just press sideways on the d-pad.)
Also seems kind of wierd that there isn't a running applications tab on the memory page anymore, its been made into a seperate app.
Anyone care to explain how the managed programs application works??
Lastly is it just me or does anyone else think that the time spent developing "Getting Started" could have been put to better use...but I guess it'll help your average noob get acquainted with their device.

Use PDAVIET/pdaviet to download, second file can you download without any probs...
Extract using password PDAVIET

Dunno, I hooked it up to my exchange server. Only use AS for flashing.

I've seen a couple of copies floating around - especially when intergrated (pre-installed) into ROMs
HOWEVER - I have not seen a _stable_ copy of SnapVUE for the Universal; nor one of those big today plugins (HTC Home, SnapVUE, etc) that doesn't eat RAM

Same here, I have tried many different ROMs with SnapVue intergrated but on my current 2.09.01 BL+ B_V1 I cannot get this to work. Any ideas boffins?
Hi guys I'm urging and encouraging rickywatt to cook his own WM6.5 for our tornado...I believed and I trust him that he is capable of producing great roms for our tornado...All proof are on his post...As you can see his WM6.1 Plain Jane is one of the most stable and on e of the fastest rom we have use...And up to now I'm still with his rom below my nickname...I observed that most of WM6.5 Pro rom here are left unattended and unfinished by the cookers and its sad. To you rickwyatt, were here to support you and hope to hear from you soon

try the latest standard version of wm6.5
GL and imho i havent still found any bug but there are many deficiencies of tools/customization. You can remove em and release a more better version though

Nope my friend. Recent builds are very different than earlier build (23017). MS has changed the top/bottom bar significantly and ok/close button relocated at bottom left corner..........
Yes it is very diferent, hope in the future we can have this version for out Uni´s!

Well played with lucas new kitchen and to tell you it's really unuseal to have task bar at bottom... as i'm so much used to have it in top... so i'm pretty much happy with the old interference.... just my thought...
Taskbar at bottom really a big step from my point of view and it has some advantage for one hand computing. But many applications have to be rewritten...

you need to format your sdcard with atleast 32mb swap 64 is
recomented...and ext2 128 mb atleast...then it boots up. .
