hello guys!i just bought samsung omnia 8gb and i saw the interface of ifonz and it is amazing...well as a newbie in phone modifications can anyone explain me what i have to download(programms) and where i have to put the files i downloaded(ifonz and s2U2)i just wanna make the icons look like iphone and the clock interface with S2U2 or anyone who has the time to explain i can give him my e-mail to do it step to step so i dont break my omnia thnx and i hope for some help

I got my brand new European Samsung SGH-i600 with QWERTY keyboard these days with ROM-Version i600XXGC2. Can somenone tell me, what kind of ROM this is? And is there a newer Firmware for my device?
And now I would like to know if i can roll back to WM5 if I upgrade to WM6 and don't want to keep it and HOW TO DO THIS.
Can i backup my current ROM exately like it's now, so i will have the same i600 i have now? Is this possible? And how to do this?
And with my i600 came the original WM5 disc. So can I install from this disc to WM5 again, if i don't want to keep WM6 and have the same state like now?
Would be really nice, if someone could help me out. I'm not afraid of experimenting with my device
Oh, two more questions
When i upgrade to WM6, is there a possibility to install and use the Carousel Home Screen? I like it very much in WM5 and would like to use it again in WM6.
And is there a possibility to make some settings in the internal mail program or a registry hack so that the mail programm does not delete the mails from the server when i delete it in the program?

hi yall.....i am having a problem with my samsung omnia.....when i install programs in the internal memory some programs ask for the mobile to restarts when i do it the internal memory cannot be found.....i have to do a hard reset and when i do i lost everything i,ve just installed......is there anyway i can fix that:confused

Firstly please forgive if this seems like a dumb question, however I am trying to learn anything I can, as fast as I can.
So I have moved my Typhoon to WinMo 6.1 (ALEUT) ....(if I should be using another version, please suggest what would be best for my unit).
The upgrade was smooth, no trouble and pleasing to the eyes!!!
So now I would like to try to understand why a device, that hardware wise is almost the same as a Tornado and Star Trek ( just less built in memory), can not take the same advantage of drivers used in the other 2 devices and also add SDHC support.
When I first joined the PDA User club, all we had to worry about was our chip set and os Arm/Mips/Sh4 WinCE 2.0 or 3.0 ( Just as PPC was growing).
Do the OMAP chips have sub classes between them? Something that would not allow drivers and dll files to not work on all? As I tried the cab sets from this post....SDHC Finally Works, a no go on the Typhoon.
Can anyone bring me up to speed? Many thanks in advance for letting me pick your brain!!

next time try to give more info about our problem, which rom version are you using, radio, language of your rom,... that will help others who want to help you.
