hi, I was looking for the motorokr t505 to listen to my diamond music while driving, and my mother in law was very nice but bought me the t605 instead. It's a good apparatus but needs wired connection and I've been asked about 80 € to install it... In the manual is reported that you can avoid all wiring connecting the t605 to a fm transmitter, but I can find nowhere a compatible apparatus. Have you got any news helping me?
tks for coop brgds

i use my xda 2 as a mp3 player in the car but i need some help. the micro jack that connects the xda to the stereo system gets loose after driving for a while which greatly reduces the sound cooming out of the speakers. any suggestions? thanks in advance......
maybe another converter ?
nah. dont think so. adapters that small are very rare here in the phil. ive tried to look for it at different malls but they really are not available. im using the adapter provided by nokia when you buy a 5510 ( my old phone). im just looking for a way to prevent it from dislodging from the xda2. hmmm, duct tape may be a good idea at this moment......
Bluetac!
expansys have 3 adaptors
or you could make one yourself canabalising an old xda headset
bluetac? is that available in the philippines? i wouldnt even dream of "cannibalizing" my o2 headset. its much too expensive to buy a replacement if ever i "murder" the thing. :?

I am thinking of installing a sony explod MEX BT2500 in my ride so i can stream via bluetooth some audio. I have heard these head units have crappy sound but i can buy it for 110 bucks as opposed to some other brands available that are like 400. Does anyone have any opinion this or any other head unit i should buy?
thanks

Friends,
Can anyone suggest which Bluetooth Stereo headset would be perfect for music and voice on VOX? I want to purchase one.
How about Jabra BT3030?
Thx
I use a Plantronics 590 for music and a set of Sony DRB22's for podcasts. The Sony ones fold up very nice and small, so I can stick them in a bag, the Plantronics ones have excellent bass and music quality. I'm looking to get a pair of Motorola S805's next.
Thx h4waii for the information. Did u ever get chance to use Jabra BT3030 also? or what are your views about this? i heard a lot about its excellent music and handling qualities. What do you suggest?
I don't use bud-style earphones, I prefer can/DJ style ones that.
Here's a review for you though, http://crackberry.com/review-jabra-bt3030-bluetooth-stereo-headset
i have been using the jabra BT3030 with my Vox over the past 10 months with no problems at all. Music quality is really good so are te controls.
I would suggest you to replace the headphone in this by a good quality one.
Prajith
Where did you buy this from and for how much?
Can anyone recommend which bluetooth headset is good? I want something that is able to listen to music and receive call. I just hate those cable when listening to music. Thank you in advance.
i have a Jabra BT530 (one of the few that support A2DP = music streaming) only con is that you cant skip track using the headset volume button. otherwise its a good one !

the problem is with the music player your using. use a different one and give it a whirl.... should work a peach. i use tunewiki or simply music (both free apps).
Just for test I bought this from ebay:

It's a pretty cheap one from Hong Kong and it works perfectly (both calls and audio)! So I can imagine some other cheap BT headsets (with A2DP profile) will work as well.
Why that one you might ask. Well, in combination with € 3,- helmet speakers I have a complete working BT audio setup nicely tucked away in my helmet. For navigation etc on the motorcycle! All together for like € 10,-. A bit different than the € 200-300 they ask for BT sets built into a helmet!
There are BT headsets from $ 4,40 (around € 3,50), but I'm not sure they support audio over bluetooth. So you might want to look out for that!
But my estimation is that it can be done for around 10 euro's! Search on ebay for 'a2dp -dongle' and you might get some interesting hits!
i got the jabra street BT3030 today, bought from amazon.de
i am impressed, because it looks stylish, it worked from the beginning without any adjustments (using latest nightly of CyanogenMod, just start you bt-headset, open BT settings in your phone, add JABRABT3030 pin 0000), the headphones are really good (of course no comparison to expensive sennheiser) and the microphone is very good (i am phoning during this post ). And i like the fact, that you can buy some other headphones with 3,5mm pin and use it.

Depending on the use of the bluetooth headset, another suggestion could be something from Jaybirdgear.com, like the Sportsband 2. It's a lot more pricy than the others, but if you don't like the in-ear style, and even wants to listen to music while in the shower, yes I can confirm that they are able to do this without getting broken, these might do the job for you
But ofc, if running, sweating and getting wet while listening to music ain't your thing - don't buy em, as they are rather pricy.
I use a pair of Sennheiser MM400 headphones. Absolutely brilliant sound quality, plus it has a mic and next/back/play/pause buttons. I can confirm that the controls work with the Desire, cause it has AVRCP.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Hiya folks. this is my 1st post. so i thought i'd turn you onto this great bluetooth receiver i got from amazon. Since this is my 1st post, i can't post the link. but here's what to look for...
Sony Ericsson Hi-Fi Bluetooth Stereo Headset with FM Radio
& i included a pic too.
I needed a bluetooth that'll allow me to listen to music as well as make & take phone calls. plus i needed bud style since i can not have them in both ears at work. this has worked out so well that i may buy another one, just as a backup.
This allows for me to use any headphones i want (didn't like one it came with). sound quality is great!! plus fm radio built into the device, so i can listen to my morning shows, & save some battery... then switch on Pandora for the rest of the day & jam out!!
hope you find this as great as i do!!
I may be on the hunt for a bud replacement for my motorolas... this looks nice and sleek. Good find! Thanks!
Personally, I'm using the Jabra BT8010. It's a discontinued stereo bt headset, but it features a mini oled screen, built in equalizer, jog wheel, mini phone book, as well as takedown for mono bt mode.
check ebay for it. I use it and I love it.
I've got a Jabra BT3030 that looks like a metal dog tag and takes any 3.5mm set of earphones. They don't make them any more, but you can find them for cheap on eBay.
The only thing I don't like is its non-standard charger.
Yea..this this uses the same usb port as the g2.
have been using it for a few months and it works great
the only complain i have is the volume slider, it sucks so hard....
