Does anybody know any good bluetooth headphones...I hate working out with wired headphones. Right now I'm debating between the Sony DRBT100CX and Motorola MOTOROKR S9-HD.
get the sonys as i've had the motos and they're rubbish and hurt your ears after a while !
I have the motorokr s305 I just got from verizon for 25.00 on a sale. I also have a pair of Dynex headphones from ebay I got for 20$. They both feel ok and work great. For the price, the Dynex ones are good.
On a side note, I opened up the dynex headphones and wired audio cables up to it to plug into my home receiver.
Careful buying motorola products on ebay. I purchased a set of bluetooth headphones and got a knockoff. They worked like ****.
The motorola s9 hd is totally wireless which is great.
The sony uses bluetooth 2.1 which might work better with my n1 compared to the motorola s9 hd's 2.0 bluetooth.
I have the Sennheiser MM400 and its the best i tried. Especially the sound is great if u listen to music as well!
Yes, I using it to mostly workout...i need something that won't fall off while running so the Sennheiser MM400 might be suitable.

I don't think there are any "good" ones. Reading the reviews leads me to believe they all suck.
I have the Motorola S805 and they're comfortable enough but the sound quality is lacking and they're also quite noisy (hiss). I almost always use corded headphones instead.
So what's the difference b/w bluetooth 2.0 vs. bluetooth 2.1

About .1
LOL. good one...I mean specs wise. Better reception and quality?
I actually own a pair of those Sony DRBT100CX and they work very good with the MyTouch. I listen to music on them a lot and there's no skipping.
Using it for calls works well also, the mic on it is sensitive though. I could stand about 25 feet away while talking in a normal voice and it comes in crystal clear on the other end (probably not good to use in crowded areas, at least for talking on the phone through it).
I also use it paired with my ps3 as a headset and it works well with it also.
I'm satisfied with it thus far.
I have the Moto HT280's the S9's and now the Altec Lansing/Plantronics BackBeat 906
They all cut out horribly outdoors.
The problem seems to be they can't penetrate a human torso, so a phone in your breast pocket won't get signal to the antenna near the back of your head. If the signal has walls to bounce off of it's generally fine.
However if I use the audio->bt dongle that came with the 906's it works fine indoors or outdoors. So I'm currently blaming weak BT on the N1
I'm currently trying to figure out a BT TX power test suite to see of the N1 just has weak BT TX/RX power (perhaps to save the battery) and if it's changeable.
Motorokr S9, had them last year, they lasted about 3 months with me running75-80 minutes a day 4x or 5x week, then the sweat got in and [email protected]@ked an
ll up. Definitely not worth it, also the controls are awful. I now have a pair of iLuv clip-on earphones, and they come with an adapter so they can be used even with non BT devices. I love them.
Motorola S805 if you like supra aural head phones (not ear buds).
I use this for both computer headphones and headphones for my phone. It also has a mic if you get a phone call mid work out.
They do skip on occasion, but it's not that big a deal.
Ive got Nokia BH-03 which are great for the price I paid which was about 40 bucks. 10 hours of music play time really loud and great sound quality(for Bluetooth headphones).
Does anyone else have sync issues when switching from music to games?

I have a pair of Sony BT and a pair of Insignia BT, they both sound great to me but im far from an audiophile. I usually use the insignias more because theyre wrap arounds which is better for me at the gym, but I usually leave my phone on the windowsill and the quality is fine wherever I walk around, its not a huge gym, but decent size and the audio controls built onto the insignias let me pause, skip fwd and back, volume and all that stuff which is nice.
Motorola Bluetooth® DJ Headphones S805
I Bought the Motorola Bluetooth® DJ Headphones S805 last year for my G1 and i must say i love them! they can last you 12hrs on a single charge. i would highly recommend these headphones. here's a link from amazon. Click Here. shop around you could find a better deal on them. good luck.
Samsung SBH650 (has 3.5mm plug)
Replace kit earbuds with Shure ones.
has anyone used jaybirds, they're alittle expensive compared to the other bluetooth headphones i've seen, but i've seen great ratings on them as well.
supposed to be great for workouts, sweat durability and all
especially curious how they work with n1 if anyone has them or tried them
I'm looking for some higher end stereo bluetooth headphones to go with this phone. Any suggestions?
Sony ericsson mw600
Use ur own headphones
Fm radio

I have Jaybird Freedom ones that are really nice. I like them a lot more than the motorola S9s I had
I have the Sennheiser MM200
http://www.trustedreviews.com/Sennheiser-MM200-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset_Portable-Audio_review
Really awesome for me...I dont like the bluetooth reciever close to my ear...(no one knows how that will affect us - like cell signals do)
Ohh and the headphones have some sort of Noise Cancelling... cause once I put them on, it does take care of a lot of ambient noise.
Love these. Be careful where you buy them from for there are knock offs.

I have to wonder how many people can justify spending $650 for some Bluetooth headphones. I spent a week debating on spending $45 for my Samsung stereo Bluetooth from t-mobile.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
What music player do you use with these quality headphones? I know PowerAmp handles flac format any other player handle flac?
I bought the Jaybird Freedom 3's. They're amazing. They stay in your ears, are tiny, and have pretty decent sound for size. Not nearly as good as cans, but not bad.
Samsung HM3700 Streamliners are nice i got them using my tmobile 50 percent coupon! cant beat a bluetooth headset and bluetooth headphones for 30!
Any thoughts/recommendations on a cassette adapter to link the phone output to the car stereo? I'm interested in audio from apps (navigation), music/podcast playback, and streaming audio.
From the reviews of various options I've seen, the quality of the adapters is highly variable, but the Phillips adapter here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Philips-USA-PH-62050-CD-MP3-MD-To-Cassette-Adapter-Brand-New-Free-Shipping-/370582468700?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56486fb85c#ht_1621wt_1396 seems reasonably priced.
This will be used in a 1996 Saturn. A quick and simple low end solution like a cassette adapter is desired vs. an expensive stereo upgrade.
Thanks!
Just a follow-up to my previous post. I ordered and received the listed adapter and it has working well for the first few days. Will see how longer term usage goes - it does not appear to be the most durable item I've purchased , but it should do the job if not abused.
I sure hope yours works better then the Chinese one I had a few years back...so crappy even the FM transmitter was better.
Honestly, I would recommend a new head unit for your car. They're very easy to replace and are something you will likely have for a VERY long time. I've had mine in all three different cars I have owned so far, and have never had any problems. You can pick up a cheap one with USB and aux inputs (and even bluetooth) for relatively cheap. The sound quality really is so much better than an FM adapter. They're an investment, but they're worth it.
I was in the Verizon store where they had the Bose Soundlink Mini set up and I paired with it and played various types of music through it and all of them sounded incredible (no surprise, it IS Bose). I have been thinking about getting a GOOD portable bluetooth. This one would seem an obvious choice but one thing about it bugs me. It DOES NOT support handsfree calls. It's A2DP only. Seems like a pretty major oversight for something that is supposed to be a high end accessory for a smartphone.
So, I know some of the other brands out there are of course Jambox, JBL, Braven, Logitech, and I'm sure there are some more. What speakers have you guys found that you really like?
Ultimate Ears BOOM
Ultimate Ears BOOM is very good
Have you guys tried out any other portable wireless speakers? My friend owns a Bose which is incredible but it is too expensive for me and was wondering if there might be some other good but more affordable choices out there?

I'm looking forward to the release of this one - iLoud:

It seems that it should be available by the end of the month.
I'm looking for a better bluetooth kit for my car. The one I have sounds like garbage, produces static whenever I get around cities, etc. Would prefer to just buy a new unit for my car, but have a feeling those may be a bit expensive especially since I have a double din unit and it would just look ugly having a single din instead.

Not more than a couple hundred for a whole new head unit.
Kinovo BTC450. $40 on Amazon. Bought 2. They work great.

I just got this double din unit for my wife's car.

I could not possibly be more happy with the quality of it. The bluetooth connection and sound quality is absolutely stellar.
I am waiting for a headunit that supports Apt-X. It seems that there isn't one on the market yet, despite all modern high-end phones supporting it, and plenty of accessories coming out with Apt-X support.
Get a souble din to single din plate/converter and then it provides a cd slot used to hold your phone. and a nice single about $200 (if that) If your thinking of audio I personally use a cord.(ebay gold plated 3' audio cord $4) on my 09 Ranger with a single din pioneer, way easier n "hassle" free. when a call comes in it goes to the tooth.. Just my thoughts
I have the BlackBerry adapter, works great.
http://www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-Remote-Stereo-Bluetooth-Gateway/dp/B00170KUM0
Unless you want to run AOSP ROM's, then buy an APT-X bluetooth adapter. It can hid behind your dash and plug into your current car stereo head unit's 3.5mm input jack.
Much higher audio quality than you get with normal bluetooth. Much deeper bass also.
AOSP ROM's don't work very well though, with APT-X. See my signature.

Sony WX-GT Series Double DIN Head-Units - this one is nice. Look online.
I'm using a Dension Gateway Pro BT. Lets me retain my stock system, but adds in-car handsfree, A2DP streaming, USB phone/hard drive/flash drive/whatever support, and auxiliary input, while integrating all the functions with the car's built-in controls (works with steering wheel controls and displays track titles, and full menu and browsing support on the driver information display).
Only issue with my car is it disabled satellite radio, but then again I'd never, ever subscribe to that low-quality crap again.

+1 for the BTC450. It's Apt-X, sounds beautiful, and connects to the S4 immediately. The small size helps to disappear it for a nice look and the car socket adapter has a usb port. Charming little device.
I bought the iClever Himbox HB01 Bluetooth 4.0. It is small really low profile and looks nice. It sound fantastic when playing music. Calls on it are good too.. People say I sound very clear but they could tell I was using a hands free device but I guess that is normal with all hands free products.. I would recommend this highly and at only 25 bucks it is a great deal and feels high quality..

I went a similar direction, opting for the iSimple Connect. Looks like it works just like the Denison but you can retain the factory Satellite radio. I do subscribe to XM, but mostly because the GF likes it and I do a lot of long distance (700 miles) trips in the car.
