Is there a possibility to listen to the FM radio while charging. The problem is that the FM radio only works with plugges headphones. Maybe there is a solution with a special USB cable?? any ideas or solutions??
y cable is available on market mate!
Bye
it's not possible
i bought a y-cable just a few days ago.
you can charge your battery, or you can listen radio.
don't know if this is a software bug, or simply not possible...

I don't understand why HTC implements only one connector on their last devices, just since the HTC Touch came out on the market with only one connector for USB and Audio, i suspected that the only one thing is that HTC want to save money at the device's production and to get in another way some money selling their accessories.
I still remember the advantages with 2 different connectors Audio and USB, hearing a TV streaming and at the same time charging the device.

Is this the Y cable you are referring to?
There is also a mention of a driver for the rec100 "to function correctly" which I can't seem to find
hi!
i meant this one:
http://www.amazon.de/Y-Adapter-3-fa.../ref=pd_sbs_ce?ie=UTF8&qid=1197505192&sr=8-13
audio-output works;
charging works;
but not at the same time!
if the fm radio works without a headset attached... i don't know, but i'll test it

Hi all
anybody knows a shop link for GPS Coaxial cable for MDA Compact IV ??
my gps cable is fauly after LCD Screen replacement ! it recieves no GPS Signal.
Thanks in Advance
Hi
I bought gps / wifi coaxial cable on ebayz! about 7-8 euro!
sorry for my bad english!
Bye
Can you send me the link, where have you ordered? thanks
Hi,
Coaxial cable is utilised to provide a connection between the GPS antenna and receiver. The cable distance can be critical. The antenna must amplify the GPS signal sufficiently to overcome any cable losses associated with the cable run utilised. For finding a shop link for GPS Coaxial cable it is beter for you to search over internet. Also you should try to contact the shop dealer from where you had bought the cable.
Thanks

Hi. Im also looking for new coaxial cables. Anyone know where to find em? I couldnt find any on ebay or by googling.
Edit: Found it from ebay co. uk "OEM AERIAL ANTENNA WIRE RECEPTION FOR HTC TOUCH DIAMOND".
Can anyone measure lenght of GPS and WIFI antenna cables? I mean anyone who have their phones opened or plan open it.
Asking it because i cant find coaxial cables to HTC HD2. But i belive that HD2 and Touch Diamond use same lenght cables. Differnce can be only on GPS cable color if lenghts are same. On HD2 they are white.

Bluetooth/Wifi cable is 9,5cm and GPS is 6cm. I changed my coaxial cables sometime ago and now everything is working fine.
Very big thanks. You helped lot and not only me. I think you helped many HTC HD2 users who need replace these or one cable.

I can confirm that wifi/bluetooth cables are same on Touch Diamond and HD2. I runned over web and tryed find one for HD2. Nowhere. Maked deal to Touch Diamond wifi/bluetooth cable (big thanks to Teemu7 about lenght). Now cable replaced and all work perfect.
I have GPS Coaxial cable and it really works very well.
hmm i might have to give it a try
On my smartphone, as in many other phones, there is an fm radio reciever. It only works with the headphone pluged in. So it think it uses a wire from that cable as the antenna.
Wich wire would-be that be?
I want to make a cardock and use the fm radio. And connect the standard external car antenna to the phone. Any ideas on this subject?

Hey guys,
Does any of you knows if the MTCD head-units provide 12v power over the FM antenna connector?
Most cars antennas these days require power either over the coaxial cable or separately.
My original multimedia system in the car had times better reception than my MTCD unit.
BTW my car is a Great Wall Hover H6 (also known as Haval H6) a Chinese SUV.

Hi There,
My MTCD (GS) unit has a separate "ANT" wire which is used to power the antenna, the antenna connector itself is not powered and I don't believe any of them are.
Hope that helps.

I remember the ANT wire and supposedly it is connected but still the reception is bad.
Most VAG cars for instance, after 1997 are using powered antennas and the stock radios are providing power to the antenna trough the antenna cable itself. There are many adapters for aftermarket radios like THIS one for instance.
I'm not sure from what car the Chinese copied the antenna assembly... the entire Dashboard looks very similar to a Honda CRV but who knows...

The adaptor you linked to is similar to what I use for my DAB+ however, my FM reception was fine before I was using that. I have the adaptor so that I can pick up DAB+ signal via my normal non-powered antenna.
Where have you connected the "ANT" wire?

To be fair I don't remember, but I do remember something called antenna power (or something similar). I'll be upgrading my PX3 board to PX5 soon so I'll double check everything again.

It's a separate wire, labeled many times ant_power or ant.. The cable-color is blue. It provides +12 at power on.
I have the same problem. I tried an adapter but no results.
If someone find a solution, it could be nice.
