When attempting to switch to the front facing camera I get this following error: "This application camera (processbasecom.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly please try again" and I have to force close.
Also, I don't own the phone. My friend has it and told me whats happened. How can I help him?
restart the phone, kill all apps, try agisn..
while in camera app, settings, reset to default. That will fix it.
When I open the camera, my camera rotate 180 degrees ! so while I up the camera, camera was down.. and while I down the camera, camera was up...! I think it's because software error not hardware..

Does this ONLY happen in the camera app? If so, try clearing the app data under applications.
Hi guys,
After the Nougat 7.1.1 update, my front camera seems to have stopped working. At first, when I'm opening the camera app, it says that the application might be in use by other applications so I forced close it, clear data, and even restarted the phone. But none if it did work, however, when I'm opening 3rd party camera applications it shows up fine but no option of changing to front facing.
I would like to ask if there's a line of code so I can change the initial startup of the camera to rear? I knew that my front facing camera is not working when I tried to check the diagnostics and it says that it doesn't support this function. Hope you guys help me out with this one. Thanks guys
Hello, I have the following system:
COIKA-Android-6-0-System-Car-GPS-Navi-Screen-For-BMW-F20-F21-2017-2018-EVO
The system always hangs under Android when inserting the reverse gear.
Can I turn off the camera start?
My flex 2 was on 5.1.1. I was trying to use it with "Open Camera Remote" (a wifi triggered camera app) and would get an error where the app couldn't connect to the camera. But if I ran the native camera app first, Open Camera would work.
So I upgraded to 6.0.1
With 6.0.1 the camera would take a while to load with the native app, then it stopped working at all. Just a black screen.
Did a factory reset but it didn't help.
What seemed to fix it was removing all the permissions from the native camera app, then running the camera app (without permissions) and re-enabling the permissions as prompted.
Now both the native camera app and Open Camera (Remote) load quickly and are responsive.
I can't explain why this worked but maybe it will help someone.
