I have a Verizon xv6900 HTC phone running wm 6.1. I tried to istall MS Voice Command and it will not work. Any time I try to Enable it I get an error message stating that Voice Command has encountered a problem. Restart Voice Command and try again. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this program work? Or is there another VC program that will work for this unit. I also use my BT and it must be able to work with it.
Thank you,
Tony

Hi, I have a Samsung D900 and an 8525. I got accustomed to managing my text messages through my computer via bluetooth connection to my d900, but now that I moved to the 8525, i don't have that feature anymore. Anyone know where i can find a program to do the same thing as the message manager? I've tried sms-it, but it won't connect to my phone. I've downloaded wammu, but whenever I try to go into setup, it crashes, on my computer and on others'.
I've tried searching on here, but came up with threads about texting from your computer straight to a cell, not through the phone. any direction would be great!
anyone?...
no one knows?
dont know if this will help but try this...
Hi,
I am trying to use my TyTn II to connect to an Adobe Connect session. I have seen pictures of it on the net, but when I try, the device complaines about flashplayer version (it should be higher than 6.035) or get stucked in a script. As I understand the PocketPC player is 7.0 and supports scripts. What happens as stated above, is that after I logged on to the server the script seems to get stucked in some loop or whatever and a message complaining about a script that do not behave pops up. The TyTn gets slow and tired until I stop the script. Any ideas? I should be able to do it. Maybe a register tweak? Use Flash Lite 3.0? How do I get hold of it? I hope (and know) that someone has solved the problem already. Please enlighten me!
Cheers

i posted in a couple threads which i did not start but no luck for an answer..hopefully starting this thread would happen?
i installed duttys diamond v1 rom and now my phone speaks to me..it's awesome...i have the tilt and when someone calls..it tells me who "call from ____, please unload the phone" ...or when my phone is running out of battery..."your phone is critically low!" etc...
anyone knows what is making this happen? i would really like to know..
is it the diamond rom, or a software i installed? only thing that comes close to it is igo8..
if its the rom, i'm sticking to it..but if it isn't i would like to change because igo8 keeps randomly freezing/rebooting on me
thanks!!
It's voice command; check it out in start>settings>voice command and look in the options for the phone and other things.
thank you...now i have another question..when i press my voice command it says "error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename"
I've looked everywhere (well spent a long time looking) has anyone worked out how to get voice command working on the touch pro? I had it working on the Universal with windows mobile 6.1 and used the same cab on my pro the day I got it it worked great.
However my phone locked up whenever I went to settings - a important thing to be able to get to
I had to hard reset to get rid of the problem - is there a fix for the setting lock up?
Are there other people like me who want it to work?
Is there anyone who has it working?
Thanks
MSVC working great.
Please backup your registry and uninstall any previous versions of MSVC.
Version 1.6.19214 is the only one that worked for me.
Try this thread: (instructions)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=391262
and this one: (link to download)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425251 post #9
and this one: (some more instructions)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=998205&postcount=9
I followed the instructions, as well as deleting 1 more key in the registry since there was no "sddaemon.lnk" in the Startup folder.
HKCU\Software\HTC\BootLauncher\sddaemon.exe
Brilliant!
This works, thanks so much I was nervous after last time. The touch pro is the best device i've ever owned!
Updated my HD7 to Mango recently and went through without a hitch.
One thing I have noticed recently is that the OPEN 'application' function doesn't work.
All the other commands such as CALL, FIND etc. work fine but when I use OPEN xxxxx I get the message sorry, couldn't find that application .....
Not sure if its a coincidence or due to the Mango.
Any ideas...?
Thanks
update
Advice from HTC was to reset device and re-install OS as its a ROM problem.
Not really convinced and I will looses all my data on this chaps hunch (the equivalent to CTRL, ALT & DEL on a PC).
He didnt even know the difference between Syncing data and a Backup.
Is there a way of forcing Zune to make a more current backup and replace / add to the pre-Mango?
Thanks,
You just have to say your app but without a dialect
