HTC Touch - I'VE GOT ONE!!!

Just managed to get my hands on HTC TOUCH!!! NICEEEE!!! Not the best performer, but well designed. TouchFLO software looks realy good. 3D interface - iPhone might be a little too late. The only thing that might be better about apple product - is hassle finding the software Nothing personal, but I think Apple stich people just on branding.
Anyway, I've got the device from Inkino guys on TCR. I'm happy with it as a toy. You can go and check it out yourself.
P.S. Not advertising, just like to deal with them...

we don't know yet, but if we get our hand in the rom, soon we will know...

They use some sort of new screen on this machine. I was told there is only one supplier for it in the world. But I'll try...

Acording to John Wang (HTC Chief Marketing Officer + inventor of TouchFLO) the screen is new hardware and unique to the Touch (for now).
The "Gestures" of TouchFLO only kicks in when the screen detects skin (your finger). so it looks like for now it's a no go.

then i hope that the Kaiser has the same touchflo hardware..
and inventor my ass.. is had that same menu structure and sweeps on my neonode ( www.neonode.com ) back in 2004!!

If it detects the skin, then for sure it's a capacitive sensor in addition to the resitive (the normal one).

Iput mode
It looks like an alternative input mode if you look at the video so if someone can figure out how to extract that it would be nice. I belive that that it would work because the only two touch screen technologies are active and passive so I don't believe it should matter

search the forums there was a thread detailing the whole process to make ur phone look and work like an Iphone

this guy sells it on ebay i bought it and it is a joke just skins and it is not a rom it is very hard to load ,very very slow it was the biggest waste of money i have spent if someone tells me how to upload here you guys can have it there is alot of crcked software that he sold with it as well

i have received a few emails saying not to post this software ...... i understand about something being copywrited but the guy i bought this from STOLED the software ,found a crack for the demo and is selling other peoples work , he even told me he has their permission to sell it with the crack in the file. now i know where i can find almost anysoftware as im sure most on here do but to sell it and say you have permission to do this with a crack in the file is something i have never heard of ,i bought the software and anyone can have it for free it is nowhere near as nice as the stuff you guys do on this forum the guy is a crook

I have had the same problem dude. There just isn't much devolopment going on for WQVGA. The closest to findin WQVGA stuff is a decent diamond skin for sms-chat. Look under hacking and development for QVGA developments.

sorry had to. manilla 2d, is an app ny htc. the community has redone it so it can be installed on more and more devices. (even none htc mobiles)

Even though by its name you would say this app is intended for Touch HD only, actually it is working even on QVGA devices. WQVGA and VGA included.
