IS there a simple outgoing call counter/timer that I can use? I just want to compute the total outgoing call time per month. I have a plan that gives me 150 minutes each month and I don't want to use more than that.
i have this:
http://oldsap.blogspot.com/2008/01/call-logs.html
but the detailed outgoing call logs are for Philippines use, for now, so your calls might show in the "Others" portion.
this is what I have been looking for, but there are some things that must be fixed before this is really useful. First I don't understand the difference between the numbers "Other" and "Mins". Second, this tool doesn't consider a time interval. It simply adds up all the outgoing calls. I need something that reports only the last month's calls. For example, if today is 7th of March, then it should report the calls between 1st of March and 7th of March. Finally, a configuration option would be awesome. So, we could set our own operators. I hope you improve this little tool and it will become a very useful little gadget for all of us.
ok i'll work on that. i'll recode the application to allow the user to add up total calls for a range of dates first then we'll go from there []
Thank you for considering these changes. Another possible feature would be a rounding feature. For example, some operators count 1 sec to 60 seconds as 1 minute. My operator counts 1 sec to 6 secs as 6 secs. So, my call times are always rounded up to the closest multiple of 6 seconds.
please check it here:

after many cigarettes and plenty of internet trolling i came up with this solution 2nite. i tried many different options and combinations, this is what worked best. the idea spawned from the modaco forum:
http://www.modaco.com/content/Pocke...-to-the-WinMo-missing-call-recording-feature/
sounded like a sweet idea, but i have att and i dont know how to leave myself a voicemail. i also use the callwave voicemail now and i couldnt figure out how to do it there either.
anywayz enough about me....this is what i came up with........
Prerequisites: 3 way calling or conference call, and long distance(u will be calling a new york city area code)
1) go2 http://drop.io/ and create a new drop
here is some info http://drop.io/voice
2)in your new account window http://drop.io/yourname u will see a number
save this number in your contacts in this format 123-123-1234pp12345
where 123-123-1234 is the number, pp pauses the dialing, and 12345 is the extension
3)call the number u just saved. after the beep, put the call on hold. then dial the number of the person u want to record. when u are connected with them, go2 menu and select conference.......engage in interesting conversation......press end.
4)go2 your new drop.io url. u will now see your conversation. click listen and then download. if u want to delete, go2 interactive tab and click delete.
5)have fun
sounds like a pain, but the whole process of calling, hold, calling, conference, takes about 15-30 seconds.
i tried a few other recording options, but this 1 seemed to be the best
1) braincast - disconnects when u put it on hold
2) jott - only record up2 30 seconds
3) google talk - limited to 10 minutes
4) some others can't remember, but drop.io ended up being the best solution. just make sure to password your account and to only allow viewing of files, dont want any1 listening in on ya
5) drop.io allows recording up2 100mb, which is about 100 minutes for their free account.
also i am using an att tilt with duttys 6.1 rom, but i dont see why this wouldnt work on any wm phone
Greta tutorial, will link to it in my next related article.
hi friends
i baught imate jasjam yesterday, in the device information call duration is 17 hours incoming and 21 hours outgoing, seller told me he updated the rom from web therefore call duration timing has changed otherwise its a new mobile.
and now i have installed the latest rom 3.62, but call duration timing is same 17 hours incoming and 21 hours outgoing
i am really confused now whether to check it is a new mobile or a used?? can anybody tell me in detail pls, thanks alot in advance
My guess is that, this is not some thing to do with the rom. If you have another sim card (with different phone number) try to change the sim and see if you see this same call duration. I guess this is comming from your service provider. I may be wrong.
I never thought about it, but it could be possible that the call timer is linked to the sim. However, my inclination is that the phone is used. Maybe he kept the phone really well, or he bought a new casing before selling it.
in this case is simple, this device is used.
WM shows the information of all the calls independly the SIM card you use.
regards,
I thought it is relatively possible to reset the call timer!!! (although I don't know how) Possibly that your seller has forgotten and/or didn't expect you to be expert enough to check that...
Hey there,
I want to ask about something so particular here.
So, my network provider gives a free 5 minutes service of international phone call after 2 minutes. I really want to make a good use of this service, so I have this idea in my mind that I have to cut the phone call before 7th minute.
So, is there any software that can do this? Assume that it will cut the phone call I made to a SPECIFIC number after the CALL DURATION is 6 minutes and 59 seconds?
it goes like this scheme:
if PHONE NUMBER is +XXXXX
then
if CALL DURATION = 6m 59s then DISCONNECT
else normal
else
normal
thx before,
sorry for my bad English
hmmm,,,anyone?
I am looking for Call Summary application that will make a sum of all my calls - ingoing and outgoing in minutes so I know how much i talked in minutes.
Can you tell me what application to downlaod from the marketplace ?
I'm looking for such an app for like 2 weeks now, but haven't found anything. Plus, i doubt the mango update will come up with a solution. Quite annoying, as i got low limits in my minutes/data plan
same thisng here ,this is why i need to track how much i talked ,it's shame for such phone not to has such simple thing that all cell phones have
call report
My operator gives me a report after each call to say how long was the call and how much is the cost
But this doesn't work on my Trophy7
Is there any special setting?
I have a Galaxy S7 edge on Tmobile.
1) Is there anyway to decrease the 30 seconds to a minute it takes for forwarding to turn on after Bluetooth disconnect?
2) When forwarding, My S7 will still ring a bunch of times before the call is forwarded. Anyway for the call to go directly to the Gear S3?

I have the same setup. I don't believe there is a way to change this at this point. There will be a delay

Yikes, it makes it virtually unusable as the caller has to wait almost ten rings before you pick up on your watch. Most people would hang up by then!
I'll have to look into Google Voice to see if there's a quicker solution.

I have a solution that uses a 3rd party program. It is a program called "Automagic" for your android phone. If you are familiar with "Tasker" it is similar. Automagic runs in the background on my phone. I have 2 "Flows" set up in the program. The 1st one looks at the BT connection between my phone and the S3. As soon as the connection is broken (I walk away from my phone), it automatically has the phone dial call forwarding and turns it on. I have it set to dial the number for instant call forwarding so all calls to my phone are instantly forwarded to the watch number (there are usually 2 types of call forwarding on the different carriers, one for instant transfer of all calls, and another for allowing the 1st number to ring a few times before forwarding). A caller never knows they are calling my watch. The first ring happens instantly on my watch. If I call someone from the watch they will see it as coming from my watch number (numbersync doesn't do this)
I have the 2nd "Flow set up to watch for BT re-connection with my watch (when I walk back within BT range of the phone). It then has the phone automatically dial to turn off Call Forwarding.
Check with your carrier to see what numbers need to be dialed to turn on and off call forwarding. Also remember there are usually 2 types of forward, an instant, and a delayed. Post back in these forums if you try Automagic. I can share the "Flows" I set up to work with call forwarding. There is a free version of Automagic that allows you to have a couple flows. I ended up buing it since it worked so well and I wanted to support a developer.

Hey, thanks so much for writing that up. I may check it out in the future. I called T-Mobile up and they reduced the 30 second forwarding lag to 5 seconds on the their end. That was the lowest they can go, but I'm able to answer the Gear by the 3rd ring now, and it only rings once on the phone.

I didn't know you could have T-Mobile adjust that, thanks for the info. I may also try the 5 second delay.
