I have an MDA Vario 3. I'd like a new phone that also has GPS.
What are the best current/upcoming choices?
here's a few thousand threads from google search asking nearly the same question:

Look at all your options here, pick out some you like the sounds of and read some reviews.

Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and this is my first post and just have a few questions about my shiny new orbit 2.
Firstly i just wanted to know if the 02 Orbit 2 has a gyro to rotate the screen in applications like the Cruise as i cannot see this option anywhere.
The second thing, is that i see lots of different roms available to upgrade too, is there any particular one that people would recommned out of all of them.
Regards,
Rich.
Welcome to the forum and your Orbit2!
The Orbit2 doesn't have a gyro or accelerometer so it doesn't detect when you flip it to the side.
Asking for which ROM people recommend is like asking which car people prefer. You'll get a dozen different answers. Are you after features, low memory use or speed?
Hi, I'm basically looking for the samemenu system as the HTC Cruise, and preferably not too greedy on the memory.
Rich.
i want to buy this device with the dock , i search in best buy , but they are out of stock
Forums are cool places because most questions have been asked before. This one is especially cool because it has this feature called "Sticky" that puts the most important topics right at the top so you won't miss them.

Hello!
I need your kind suggestion as I am looking to buy a new phone for me. According to my purchasing ability I can afford following handsets.
1. Samsung Note 3
2. LG G2
3. LG G2 Pro
4. Nexus 5
5. Iphone 5
Currently I am using Xperia Arc. I usually do not use handsets. If I buy any handset, then surely I will use for next 1 and 1.5 years. I need a device which will have better and faster data service, exchange mail service, handset apps, camera, longer battery life and good camera option.
I am confused. Please suggest me which handset I should purchase among them. You can also suggest other handset. Please also mention the reason why should I buy!
Looking forward to your suggestion.
Thanks,
Shimu
There are 3 threads already established that are devoted to discussions about devices, please read, and if necessary, repost your question in one of these threads: The what should I buy thread or the The Device Suggestion Thread or the The Device Comparison Thread.
There are also several other discussion threads that you probably should review to help you. They are What phone do you wish you had? or
The Worst Android Device That You've Ever Had & Why or even this place that talks about The best phone you ever owned.
Hi,
I'm Deborah Ferrari and looking for some suggestion for the best smartphone to buy in 2015.
Your suggestyions will be really appreciated.
Thanks.
Deborah Ferrari.
There are already plenty of threads open for this type of discussion. If you ask ten different people what the best phone is, you're likely to get ten different answers. The best phone for you will be determined by how you plan on using it. If you're looking to root a phone and install a custom ROM, some phones may be better suited for this purpose than others. Feel free to explore the site in search of your answer. I would also suggest going beyond the site and doing some reading on some of the other phone sites that are out there and reading some reviews. If you find a phone that seems to fit the bill for what you're looking for, check out the specific device forum here. You'll be amazed at what information can be gleaned by doing so. Best of luck in your search.

Hello!
I hope this is the right sub for stuff like this, i looked but didnt find any better. (scratch that i just learned that questions are not to be posted here, ill try to find out how to delete this)
When i was talking with a friend about me planning to buy a new phone he told me about CFW and xda.
Now, with all the new possibilities for android that i learned about, old criteria for choosing a phone, like a good interface or nice apps seem redundant.
Is there any stuff i should specifically look for in a new phone if i plan to flash it?
Greetings
Joe
