Hello everyone. I did a search in this forum and did'nt find any threads (hopefully I did the search correctly), so I wanted to ask for some advice. I need to get banking information from time to time online from my back when I'm traveling. When I log in, I get a message that their site requires that I have Java Script enabled. I've enabled everything that I can and I get this error. Any solutions?
This may be what you need.

Hi, I loaded this, and the site is still asking for me to enable Java Script... Any ideas?
That application is a Midlet Manager that allows you to install Java applications. There were some crude attempts at enabling Java in PIE but I did not keep up with the development. Try google for more info.
I am trying to download some apps to my Fuze. There are a lot of them that call for the NET compact 3.5. I downloaded the NET. c directly onto my phone but when I went to open and install it said that this is not a program for windows mobile. I'm new to this and would appreciate any help. What do I need to do? I tried installing the NET. c on to my computer but it didn't do anything either. Thank you for your help.

Is it possible that these are installers you're supposed to run from your computer and they finish their install over an activesync connection?
It might help if you let us know which apps you're trying to install and where you got them from (non-pirated of course).
You need the rigth cab http://www.4shared.com/file/70602905/58d46ffa/NETCFv35wmarmv4i.html
Thank you for replying. I tried to do searches but I kept timing out on the xda website (dial-up only in my area), so I looked on the net. All I could find was a download from microsoft. For some reason I am also having trouble with my active sync. The disk that came with my phone says it needs the new adobe flash player which I have but it won't read, it's having problems with vista. So because of these problems I need to download directly to my phone I guess. The download NET c from microsoft was the one that said it wasn't for windows mobile.
I am just trying to load some different apps to my Fuze for more usablility, games like scobble, a ram cleaner things like that. Nothing pirated for sure, but most I find if not all need the new NET to work.
Any help or ideas would be much appreciated, thanks again.
Thanks araponga I will give that a try.
i realize it may have been posted before tho i cant find it any where so here goes
my question is simple out from i can gather wm7 is gonna be pure apple like with market and such and also means u cant attach your phone to your pc and transfer a app to it as u could with the old wm 6.5.x etc and to get a app on wm7 u need to put on the market as its the only way to install now.
have i understood that correctly ?
only reason im trying to find this out is that i have som apps i use on my old 6.5.x that would re write but its some personaly programs that only i use and i dont want on the market will it be possible to install them with out havin to put it on the market is my real question and not to mention u have to pay big load to just be able to put it on the market the first place and its not even sure ms wil let on there the first place
wil it be possible to install apps with out to be forced to publish them ?
regards
mad
I'm in the same situation as you and yes you will have to pay $99 a year for a marketplace account to install your applications but you don't have to publish them on the marketplace. Once your device is registered you can load the app from your pc using the "Application Deployment" app that comes with the SDK. Your app will never touch the marketplace.
thx ren that what was the info i was looking for little sad tho that u forced to pay to put programs on phone u basicaly payed ****loads for then again it is ms

Yeah I second that feeling. What about people that just want to develop for themselves. Your only choice is to try to make your money back by selling them in the market place
I don't remember where but I read when you sign up on the marketplace you get assigned a GeoTrust cert that Microsoft has to pay for and that's why it costs you money. Of course if Microsoft didn't lock the phone down so much this cert wouldn't be necessary but that's the way they want it.
it's also to limit privacy, and entice professional developers to the platform, that they know with a lot more certainity that when they make an application which should be paid for, that it's not just going to end up on some website as an individual file (.cab) with a serial provided to get around actually paying for the application.
Hi there, I got a free account for APP Hub because im a student, however I cant seem to unlock my device? It wont let me? I verified my e-mail however it still wont let me unlock when I use the windows phone tools. Please help
Just found out that i need to make a dummy app, thanks anyway! However can i sideload as many apps as i want to or is there a limit? If there is a limit how many? As I might just use chevron!
With the student account you can only side load 5 apps, how ever there is a tool somewhere that can fix this problem.
Search my posts and you will find it.
thanks i found the tool, the problem is trying to make a dummy app, i have no idea
Do as i did
Find an app that you know will never be allowed in the market place, or one thats been rejected for some reason. Im sure you can find some if you look around
