There will be no more updates on this 5.2.1413 ROM, My goal is achieved: packages are ready to use in other kitchens.

The Cube is invoked by the voicedial button.
-Slide Finger UP the first time to invoke
-Slide finger up in order to hide
-slide finger from side to side, the next time you want to invoke.
The known bug(s):
-OK/X button
FIX: use the re-alignment settings as shown in this post)
Or you could try the reg file in touch.zip attached in this post
-No mms
FIX: use the Asukal mms cab from here to install MMS features. (don't install the pocket MSN, it's already integrated)
-No icon for zip-file
FIX: install the reg in the zipicon.zip archive.
-while editing today screen, it could freeze up.
FIX: install the reg in today-set-freeze-fix.zip
-`Maybe a bug': Bluetooth headsets fail with some users, they do pair, but don't function! Others report it being fully functional.
Not a bug, but a feature: there are only Dutch and Belgium city's available in the today-weather app.
Replace the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml with your own..

Here are the OEM Packages For Touchflo.
Note:
---> in order to use the packages, you will need to delete some files and modules from the Kitchen <---

Use duplicate file finder (freeware) and add some extra filters for mui, lnk and dat.
Then you still have to remove the modules.
The OEMAPPS package still contain files not belonging there, so some could be moved to a new package, however, it's sanitized the best I could (regarding the time I've had)
I have tested these packages only as a complete unit, not the separate packages!
-So the problem could occur that a stand-alone package would not work.
DOWNLOAD THE NEW V2B PACKAGES HERE

Alling your touchscreen as shown in attached image.
This will fix all of the button problems.
Or you could try the touch.reg in the touch.zip (these are my alignment settings, could work, could fail, if it fails retry aligning according my instructions)

verify under settings/buttons that button 4 is set for the cube function.
Once you press button 4, release it, then slide your finger from left to right.
Once it starts rotating screens, to exit back to the "home" page, go from bottom to top.
I haven't tried the rom directly, but this was the function in the French rom.

would this work for hermes too?

the splash screen's nice, but after i flashed the first time, button 4 was empty and it wasn't in the button settings' drop down menu.
after second flash, it works and it's SOOOO COOOL! i didn't go to the button settings thing at all for fear of it being empty again and then me pressing ok and then losing it forever like the first time i flashed.

i went to button settings again and lost it once again. i clicked buttons (in settings), saw that button 4 was empty (after cube had just worked) and had to press ok to get out of it and now i can't find it (nor use it). other than that, it's cool.

so the action of going to settings-buttons removes the entry? Hmmm... I wonder, even though the registry is specifying the application for the button when it's opened, when the button control is invoked - it doesn't match to a predefined list and thus removes it. Once it's open, it has overwritten the registry... just thinking out loud...

yep, you got it. meanwhile (after flash #3 in the past hour), i'm going to have fun with this and not even think about touching the "buttons" icon in settings until someone who knows how to deal with it can fix it.
i haven't been looking but the only french of the today screen is the htc audio plugin when it displays the "tap here to play songs.." or something.

ok, the keyboard is not qwerty. i must flash to something else for now. that cube rocks though.
edit: whatever, i can handle azerty for a day if i can mess with the cube...

i love it but the only prob is that my keyboard imput is kinda messed ie if i hit the "w" key it makes a z and vice verca lol can anyone tell me how to fix this?
or is there a keyborad cab file??

Have been working on OEM packages, in order to use these things in other kitchens/ROM's.
So a touchflo rom will be possible from a kitchen of your choice.

The azerty keyboard is a pain, I know.
But I will be able to import my packages to a clean, WWE kitchen, so a lot of junk will be lost.

Must be a fluke, I didn't have that problem.
I have flashed so often this weekend I lost count, have switched batteries a lot of times (thank god for the desktop turbo charger). Also glad I had a sd backup, because at a given time the phone was protesting a lot, didn't even wanted to be flashed in bootloader..

I just tried it. It ran great on my XV6800. But yeah it was just ok and I don't see myself keeping it.

yea, their original Pointui was much better. This Pointui 2 was such a hassle to install that i could never imagine purchasing it. Also, it just doesn't look very nice.
For the long wait, and all of the "Viva la revolution" quotes on their homepage, it was really a let down. The scrolling does work well though.
That's my take.

The pointui tool to warn the users to the release was not working I did not receive no warn.
I'll try it now.

Well this is a beta (I have to remind myself), and I am going to use it exclusively all day. Maybe I might change my mind. But if not then back to good ole HTC Home.
edit: it just went blank so I had to reset it via the today screen. forget this i will go back to HTC home now.

i second that!

I'm divided. There's not a whole lot to it, but it's "widget"-based and adding more widgets will certainly improve things. As it is, I like it okay. It's prettier than HTC Home and more functional and responsive than M2D, in my opinion.
I've yet to find a Homescreen replacement I really like. HTC's solutions are all weak in the functionality department, I think. SPB is pricey. Winterface is buggy and too minimal. Home 2 isn't perfect, but I think it's pretty close to what I'm looking for, so I'll keep it around for the moment.
I like that it plays nice with the existing Windows top bar instead of trying to replace it like some homescreen replacements. I'm not a big fan of the top bar, but replacing it is always flaky in my experience.
I'm surprised it doesn't include a dialer skin -- didn't Home 1 have a dialer?

I'll continue to look for the perfect UI too, so far my favs are winterface (buggy - not on my fone) and RLtoday. Hopefully, as said before, this being a beta it can only get better
(expect in the case of longhorn and vista lol)

Off topic but I have been using Home 1.5 forever since it is so stable for me. What are the benefits of 2.0 and is it worth it? I don't want to fix something that's not broken.
edit: Back on topic. Yeah it will be interesting to see some custom plugins and themes for Pointui 2.

I think they should have held off a bit longer until they replicated more of the functionality of older versions / BellUI. I hope there's more to come apart from applets because useful as they are they're not a full solution.
However as a basic framework it's cool, and with the addition of user made applets it's got a lot of potential. Will have to see how it goes.

What I like - it offers me a completely different UI feel from what I use (WM 6.1)
What I don't like is the lack of plug in support.
1. Contacts - it doesn't recognize current contact programs (icontact burt edition); it's contacts program doesn't bring in photos (booo)
2. Weather - it didn't pick up my city so that is a complete waste of a tab.
3. Programs - why have a program tab/menu but not automatically pull up all the programs I have. I don't want to reinput that into the ui.
At that point I was fed up.

I am glad some people take some more time to evaluate software. You do have a favorite contact tab with pictures. It is quite easy to add your own city for the weather tab. Alle your programs are available through the menu button. there is probably a lot more functionality you did not discover. Just try to look in the community site of pointui and you'll be surprised.

I looked but didn't want to have to do it AGAIN. I already have my contacts with pictures on my phone that is set (icontactbe6.4.5) and I like it better.
I looked to put my city on the weather and it didn't come up. Why waste my time at this point.
I am looking for improvement to how I use my phone and Point UI wasn't it. Plus I like using QuickMenu to get to my programs. If I didn't have soft-keys on my phone it may be a better option, but I do and it isn't.

It's fine if you don't like Home, but emay was just pointing out that Home 2 DOES do the three things you're asking for.
The contacts manager absolutely does use contact photos.
Adding custom cities to the weather tab is definitely possible, it just requires a quick edit to the applet's XML, and there's a walkthrough on PointUI's site for doing so. They've stated that they'll make it more elegant in the future, but it IS possible now.
There's a full programs list accessed through the menu -- what you were looking at was the "quick list" where you add your favorites. There's a different spot for the full list.
Keep in mind that this is very much a "1.0" release right now. It's stable, fast, and functional, but lacks a lot of the polish and power that will be added as the community adds new applets and the official team adds the features that will make up the "Pro" version.

Personally, I'm REALLY liking Home 2 so far. It's just very solid.
I haven't tried every homescreen replacement out there -- just HTC Home, M2D, M3D, SBP MS 2.0, and ThrottleLauncher. And Home 1, as well.
Home 2 definitely has the best combination of functionality, speed, stability, and flash that I've seen.

I love POINTUI
I found the first version (HOME 1) a year or so ago to use on my PPC. This program proved to make my phone experience much more enjoyable. I have recently attempted to place Pointui 2 on my Tmobile Dash with no success. I know in time they will port ot all to this device, but first they must finish this PPC release. I can not waste until this is available to me.

Have just tested your rom in one day.
The common impression is fast, stable, good look.
But there are still some problems need to solve:
- Camera doesn't work - most important thing
- Lack of options to control and change user interface ...
- Lack of some basic software (not important)

do a soft reset or change input method to another then get back to touch input the key board must fit on correct position
voip didn't cooked on this build (i'll put it on the next build)

I will release a new version that has a more reasonable delay between photos, hopefully before the end of the year.
More features will come AFTER the 1st of January 2010 AND Cyanogen releases his new experimental branch (4.3), based off Eclair or Flan.
To Do (after Eclair appears on the G1):

- Gesture-based photo navigation (Cyanogen beat me to it)

Hey this is a good idea! I've just tested it with cm 4.2.9.1 and it works well, maybe it's too much sensitive, most of the time when I tilt the phone it passes through 2 or 3 img at a time.
I also have an idea if you like:zoom-in with double tap and zoom-out with tripletap like in cyanogen's browser
If I think of something else I'll let you know

reflashing the original rom should revert you back i think..if not try and find the original APK from your nandroid to restore.

im lost i see the apk in astro but it says uninstall i never installed it lol

To uninstall, go in Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, select Camera and click Uninstall Updates

how to install the application? the download is in the zip format and when i extract it it gives some files and folders ... where the .apk file??

I agree. Slides too many photos at once. Great idea though.
I would like to see multi-touch zoom, same as the Hero ROMS.

Can you set it to not scroll when tilting? my wifes memoir does this and it's a cool feature but can get annoying at times. May give it a try. Thanks for your work

Firstly, I am aware that the scrolling is a bit too fast, and I'll try to roll out another version before 2010 but NO PROMISES, because I am extremely busy right now.
And with that new version I'll include a tarball with the source of the modified app.
More features to come when Cyan rolls out his experimental branch of eclair (or flan, who knows?!), because I believe I'll have to port my code to the new version included in that rom.

Problems with the sprint windows 6.5 update.

Over all it seems good. I have found a few issues, hoping people here can find fixs via reg edits or what ever it takes. I figure i start this and we can add problems that we find.
Over all cookies home screen has made the home screen better
I would put the link but i still need moderartor verifcation
and a few of the tweeks here
Look for sense 2.5 tweeks on this board.
using the black clock, and making the left soft key the camera have been helpfull.
but i have found I would like to be able to pick when the notifcation light goes on like we could in 6.1 Any ideas other then the led program, i could not get it to work for want i wanted.
