Hey,
Just randomly today my normal digital clock which I have in the top-right corner of my phone switched to an analog clock. I didn't know how to search here to find the answer, and I looked through all the settings I could think of and couldn't figure it out.
So how do I switch the top right title bar clock back to digital?
Sorry for the seemingly newbie question, just can't seem to find the dang setting!

Lol, it's quite easy actually.
Just press and hold the analog clock and a lil menu will come up
with a selection of that or digital.
Don't worry, it happens to the best of us.
zzzz....
I didnt know that ... really cool
Hi all, I have the same problem but if I press and hold the analog clock nothing happens, if I tap the clock a pop-up appears with the date and time.
Is there some other way to change back to a digital clock?
Thanks in advance.
Edit I found the solution in another thread.

Hi,
Thanks so much for your suggestion.
It's worked for me.
To the OP, and the responders - you bloody legends.
Don't normally reply to threads unless there's something useful to add but I had to say thanks for this.
Working outside up to my nuts in mud (it rained 50mm/2" that day) and somehow my phone survived.. but this weird round icon in the top right hand corner appeared. Oh, one of them clocks I can't read
Couldn't work out how to turn it off. Fixed.

Hi All,
I have spent some time lookinf ofr an application and so far have been unsuccessful.
I am trying to find a clock, that could be placed on the top taskbar of WinMo 6.1.
The only application I know of that has a similar functionality is KBattery, whoch is a very old and ugly application.
I know that probably Wisbar Advance has this functionality, but the application is too much of a memory hog to install it just to get a clock. I have a nice battery icon showing percentage of battery and would not want to trade it for a clock instead, so I need an additional clock. I tried setting up both battery and clock on taskbar, but because I have the custom icons it does not work.
Does anyone know of such an application? Can anyone make one?
It would need to have similar to KBattery ability to be moved around taskbar.
Thanks in advance
Szadzik
Try P-bar. I have it installed with the clock and memory showing.

Anyway to move it around taskbar?
I opened it and then it covered the battery I cone that I do not want coevered and after a few operations the taskbar disappeared completely. Only soft reset helped.
Any other suggestions?

I don't think there is a way to move it around. It runs in the background, I have it assigned to one of my buttons, so I can activate it. If you tap on the upper right hand corner, it will show up again depending on how you set it on settings.

I played with it for a few hours and it definitely is not what I am looking for. Ugly as hell and even worse, cannot be moved.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I don't know why you called pBar ugly, but it can show you both time and memory, both time and battery, both time and battery percent, etc...
May be you need a battery indicator that can be moved, rather than the clock. Here is a screen shot of mine. I am using a free battery indicator "ARIEL BATTERY" from this site. I used pBar to show both time and available main memory. All the information and controls I need on the today screen.

Right,
I have a nice icon set installed and do not wnat to have it covered by pbar, that's the only reason I do not like it. I want it in the middle of my taskbar not on the right side.
Hi,
Try Quick Menu 2.8. It has the features you are looking for.

Thanks, I will try that.
EDIT: It is a very nice menu for WM, however it only shows an additional battery on the taskbar, no moving it around though.
I am still looking for a CLOCK that will be shown on the taskbar and can be moved around it, to be positioned somewhere in the middle.
o stick with KBattery
is it me or has the deskclock option been removed? On my previous devices i have had the option to select this so that when it is on charge at night it also acts as as a bedside clock.
On the One s the only think i can see is under 'clock' it says world clock and there is a picture of a planet with different time zones but not actually a digital clock showing the time.
Am i missing something somewhere?
Basically i want a digital clock that can double as an alarm clock to have when the phone is on charge at night....would be great if it could also turn off the home and back button also as these seem to stay on at night when charging with the ones i have tried from the market.
thanks
According to my knowledge they HTC has removed the Desktop clock feature.
Very annoying, why can't they give you an option to switch from 'world clock' ( the planet showing) to a clock like on the older version, at least it would have a real use.

The lack of alarm clock is annoying. I've tried out some clock apps, and those work well enough except the bottom buttons stay lit. Haven't found a good solution yet.

Alarm Clock Plus works best for me. It should not be moved to sdcard, as it breaks like any other app using alarms and/or widgets.
Customizing it the first time may take some time but it can do almost everything so.

There is an alarms section in the Clock app. Nothing special but it works fine.

I know, what I meant was what the OP stated, the desktop clock was missing. I did try Alarm Clock Plus, it worked great except that the bottom buttons remain lit which was distracting.
Interestingly, having now gone a few nights without a bedside clock, I find I'm sleeping a bit better without knowing what time it is.
im using night clock donate at the moment and its a very clean and simple clock which i want however i too have the problem with the three buttons staying lit when its on
If anyone knows of one i want a simple digital clock with the ability to turn off the button lights and also if possible mute notifications when its activated (like email and twitter etc)
Lightning Bug is an app that I use for white noise that also has a fairly customizable clock that goes with it. It has an option to turn off device lights, although that does not seem to be working correctly on the One S (could be something the devs need to fix for Ice Cream Sandwich).
Hello. Since I don't have privilege to post under the proper thread, I'm asking my question here and hoping it gets answered or if possible, merged into that thread by our respected moderators.
I've recently started using LMT launcher. I find it convenient except for one little thing: when longpressed on any of the 1st level pie icon, the icons of the 2nd level show up. However, if I move my finger through these 2nd level icons, that is, instantly when my finger leaves the current icon I'm pressing, the pie changes back to 1st level!
I find this behavior hard to understand.
For one, as the 2nd level icons are less used, I may not remember their precise location, I want to remain on the 2nd level to roam through those icons and find the one I want;
for two, it is possible that the icon I pressed is the one I want, however, it is covered by my finger, I need to move my fingers away, to see and confirm it.
Expected behavior:
When the 2nd level icons are triggered, I can move through icons without going back to the 1st level.
If I need the 1st level icons back, I need to my my finger all the way back to the hollow point of the pie.
Thanks!
I found that my request made into the RC7 update of LMT, thanks for anyone who dropped by or happened to have reported/suggested the same. :good:
LMT Launcher and Landscape mode
Hey Guys,
I'm using LMT for quite a while now. As everybody knows you can place the trigger for LMT on the Right/Left and on the Bottom. I only use it on the Bottom but the problem comes when i turn into landscape. It's still at the bottom of the screen and thats not really comfortable. Is it possible to place die trigger on the right/left in landscape and leaving it on the Bottom in portrait without enabling all triggerspots?
I spend hours searching for the option but i cant find a thing.
im using a nexus 5 with omnirom
hope someone can help me with this.
greetings pizzabrot
I didn't really know what to search to find an answer to this question, so I'm sorry if it has already been posted. I have a full stock nexus and the default launcher, sometimes I notice a little + sign where the home screen indicators are. I know it's used to add a new home screen, but I don't want it there. And when I scroll all the way to the right there's an extra blank home screen. Does anyone know if it's possible to get rid of this?
Question 2: I have a repeating alarm set every morning with the stock alarm app. I've noticed that sometimes the alarm icon in the notification bar will disappear, and only come back up if I tap on the alarm in quick settings. The alarm is still set and still goes off.
Neither of these are really issues, just nuisances, and for all I know they could be "features". But any help would be much appreciated, thank you!
for #1, just place something on the homescreen then remove the item.

Thanks! Will it still pop up anymore or do I have to do that every time?

I just noticed #2 happening on my N5 as well. I figured maybe it was because I have made some status bar changes with Xposed Framework + Gravity Box, but I guess not. Probably a bug of some sort. What's weird is I've seen it come and go randomly too when just looking at my screen. Oh well. Kind of bugs me, but not a huge deal since my alarm still goes off every morning.
I have the same problem on my Nexus 7 and Nexus 5. I guess it's more of an annoyance than a problem.
I have had this problem for a while now, usually goes away if I bring an icon over to a new page then back, or if I restart my phone.
I have since switched back to Nova as they have implemented many kit kat GEL like additions, and I used this on my nexus 4, missed a lot of the swipe features and icon packs
home screen
You restore you N5 in the company setting....
Many be Issue is the some missing file....
I've had the problem with the blank home page several times on my N5 and adding/removing an item to the page removes it. It's always a extra page to the right of the last active page.
I have a daily recurring alarm and I only see the alarm icon two hours before the set time. In the notifications I have the option to dismiss the alarm early.
I do have an issue with HD Widgets which lives on the home (first) screen. Sometimes the widget becomes embedded on the page -- I will see what appears to be overlaid images. I first noticed what appeared to be two sets of temperatures (I use the weather widget with three or five day forecast). The easiest way to correct the problem is to drag the widget to a new page at the end, delete the home page which now displays the widget as a background image, then re-order the pages. This has never occurred on my N4 or N7 which are set up similarly except that the home page is the middle page.
Hi, i've recently aquired the Galaxy S7 and right now i'm really happy with it. The question is about how the notifications appears on the lockscreen or the notification panel. Somehow the quick buttons of a notification are visible more to the right and not well centered i think. That's the little problem, more esthetic than other thing but i want to know if it happens to all or is it just me.
PS: I attach screenshots with the version of Android, screen adjustments and the notification itself.
Thanks in advance.

Well, it actually depends on the app since not all of the notifications have those controls. So it's not a problem, because everyone has those controls to the right. But if you want to change those controls you must install a custom rom, otherwise there is not much you can do about it.
Are you talking about the clickable notification banners that appear in both the notification drop-down and on the lock screen? From your screenshots they don't appear to be more toward the right than the left to me. The text appears to the right of the avatar/app icon block, but that's normal in order to make room for the images. Or maybe I'm missing your point?
EDIT:
If you're talking about the RESPONDER and RETWITTER button links, they look very centered under the text body of the banner notification message. Again, the text body is positioned to the right to account for the image area on the left.

Sorry if my point doesn't understend very well. Yes, what a mean is about the RESPONDER and RETWITTER buttons and so the heart button, it has to say ME GUSTA or something like that. With my other smartphone (XPERIA Z1) this not happened. So this is why im consulting this, if it's something normal of GALAXY S7 or app related.

I think your screenshot shows them in the normal position. They are right-aligned within the banner rectangle and fairly well centered under the text block above them. You have to realize those links that you call buttons are themselves additional text, so will appear appended within the text block area which is right-aligned to allow for the image area on the left.
