Hello,
Does somebody know if there's a way for setting an input for a microphone?
I need to play a wav file into the microphone.
Thanks,
Mike.
Moving thread to Q&A section. In the future please post Questions there.
what do you want to do? record? or play?
microphone
I want to route a pcm file into the microphone's input, so that if someone opens the microphone using waveInOpen he will get that pcm.
Is that possible?
Thanks.
I must be missing something here.. because the device has a built in microphone working all the time.
Yes it does.
The microphone hardware transmits all sound to the lower driver and then to directshow drivers etc..
I want to disable the microphone and transmit my pcm file's sound into the directshow's "microphone input"

Hello, I am looking for a solution to switch between speakers and headphones (not on BT). Thanks.
How is this question meant?
In which Application do you want to switch?
e.g. Radio can switch by "touching" the correct button.
And you can always switch between speakers and headphones if you plug your headphones in or remove them.
Please specify your question.

Thank you for the answer. I wish other applications / programs. Not the FMRadio. If the headphones active, I can not on the speaker. Sorry for my English.
I want to record my phone conversations when I am using my Bluetooth headset (Because I drive alot).
At the moment it is not possible to record a conversation while using the Bluetooth headset. (I don't want to use a cable headset, because I get in and out the car alot).
The problem that occurs is that when recording with windows mobile it records your own voice, but not the voice on the other side.
I have tried with many other PocketPC's but I can't find anything that works.
Try it yourself if you don't understand whta I mean.
Does anybody have a solution for me?
Thx!
Possibly the problem is that when the headset is enabled the speaker of the phone is disabled.
So if somehow the speaker keeps working even when bluetooth headset is enabled it will record the conversation on the other side.
Hi all....I've posted about my bluetooth problem, but have yet to solve it. My problem again is that no sound via hands free comes through to the BT headset. A2DP works and so does file transfer. I've read other people having this problem with Touch Cruise (which I never had). I figure there must be something missing or set wrong in the HKLM so that no voice is transfered during calls, since music via A2DP works.
I'm trying to solve this myself, so my question is what HKLM Audio Gateway file controls the transfer of voice from handset to the headset? I'm trying to pinpoint what is missing or set wrong, so if anyone can help, that'd be great. Thanks.
Hi,
Is there a fix or patch to allow me to listen to musics, movies, through my mono bluetooth earpiece. I have a plantronic 640. Thanks you guys rocks as always.
There was a WM6 .cab I found somewhere(I can't remember right now) that allowed that.
Found it:

it sould work automatically. no need for extra software

Only when using a stereo headset, not when using mono headset. One method which works for sure is using PocketPlayer. In PocketPlayer there is an option, where you can enable and disable playing music through mono headset.
also consider freeware app - BTAudio

Hi there,
I've got a problem and I'm not sure if it's related to whatsapp or android.
If I connect my bluetooth headset (plantronics voyager legend), it works for calls.
If I want to use it for whatsapp voice messages I can hear message playback on the
headset as well as on the phone. But for input it only uses the phones mic.
Is there any way to select the input device that is used?
Stock Android 5.x on Nexus 5.
Thank you,
Christoph
