Thought some might be interested in this... since someone previous said they were saying goodbye to the Touch Pro and hello to the Touch HD.

Question... which version of Opera is that? Mine does not load up with the HTC logo and takes a lot longer to load.

Hi, I'm going to buy a new "phone" and I've read so many comparisions but I still can't decide with which one I should go.
I've followed the HTC phones for quite some time and recently I discovered the X1.
While I don't know very much about the X1, I heard that it has a dedicated graphic chip. Will any Windows Mobile application just use it or do the applications need to be exactly written for it? How fast is the interface? (for example, I hate how slow and unresponsive the Samsung Omnia interface was!) And is it as easy to use as the touch flo interface?
The only reason why I consider to get the X1 is it's keyboard, because there are a lot of emulators for Windows Mobile available but I won't be able to use most of them, JUST with a stylus.
So with which one should I go?
Or should I wait for the touch pro 2? Or another upcoming phone with even better specs?
Thanks in advance
would anyone recommend trying the dual boot on a dash 3g?
i couldnt find any information about it working on non-touchscreen phones
Moved as not software release.
You mean the Gen Y dualboot?
It's only for XDAndroid, which is available only for phones like the diamond, touch pro, touch hd, etc.
So I don't recommend it.
Hey guys, I am stuck in between which phone to choose. I have the touch pro 1 right now and really like it but don't like how it gets kind of laggy sometimes and I have read that the Touch Pro 2 has the same issues. Anybody that has used both the Touch Pro 2 and the Droid have any suggestions?
I will be using the phone for both business and personal.
I also use email on my phone quite often and have several different accounts to use. I know the Touch Pro 1 does well with this.
I also know that you can put the Android on the Touch Pro 2, but does it run very well yet or is it still pretty buggy?
Overall, I want an internet friendly, email friendly, and call and text friendly phone. I use almost every feature on the Touch Pro 1 and am leaning more towards the Touch Pro 2 right now, but just looking for a little bit of help.
Thanks
HTC all the way

I would choose Rhodium with no doubt
Hi there
I've got an imported O2-DE HTC 7 Pro flying across to me and I dislike the whole O2 look of things and was wondering if I could debrand.
I've seen the methods for the HTC mozart and wondered if they'd be similar if I used an unbranded ROM for the Pro.
Any input is appreciated seeing as I left WinMo back in the days of the HTC Touch Pro which I liked but didn't get on with due to the keyboard and resistive screen.
Cheers
p.s I searched but found nothing mentioning the pro.
Anyone? Is it possible to use the same method as the one used for the Mozart with the Pro roms?
You can install HSPL and customROM.
Hey guys, i have a question.
I searched this whole forum for the HTC Touch 2 to get Android on it instead of Windows, but I can't find it.
Does one of you know if there is a possibility to put Android on my HTC?
Me and my friend have been searching, and the following HTC's have the possibility to put Android on: Touch, Touch 2 Pro, Touch HD, Touch 2 HD, ...
If I can put Android on my HTC Touch 2, could you guys please help me with that?
Greetz,
RobinBE
