Hi its me again!
I found a very useful icq client.
Its called QIP and comes from Russia
The features are better then the most commercial icq tools!
Its also possible to create away messages and use the new icq status icons!
So far QIP only supports ICQ and no other protocol!
For me its perfect, so give it a try!
Added to attachments or download here:

Have fun!
Sigh. ICQ used to be the king of IM.. and it has tons of features that MSN and Yahoo can't offer. However, as years went by, my friends started to use MSN instead and I was forced to abandon my ICQ....

msn is good aswell, but i really prefer the icq protocol and my friends, too
ICQ
ICQ is very popular only in Russia.
The rest of the world prefered something else, but russians have no idea about.
much like yahoo aim seem to be mostly popular in us
in germany icq is very popular, too
Hey guys,
I have MSN Messenger installed on my Treo and it works perfectly fine ... the only problem is with all the graphics and such, it uses quite a lot of wireless data. I noticed in a short MSN Messenger session I (or my wife, actually) uses ~ 500KB of data. That's quite a lot for what is primarily a text messenger.
Since she doesn't have an unlimited data package, I'm looking for a MSN Messenger alternative. I tried agile messenger and it's not bad ... but it is not a freeware and I don't really need to connect to multiple messengers at once ... just MSN is fine.
Any suggestion?
Thanks,
Hey, I have been using Palringo, which has been working just right, all you need is to create an account (free) at their site, and download the app.
It has much better graffics than IM+ by the way....
I too used Palringo (www.palringo.com) -- great free app. Aesthetically pleasing, lite app.
Recently I've been using JiveTalk from www.beejive.com. Very slick interface with very sweet touch scrolling. It's currently only in a free alpha release, but its been working very well.
hey guys, just to let everybody know, i've ended up using slick and it works great!
Problems with connecting through messaging & web programs (msn messenger, pandora..)
No matter what rom I flash too, I can't connect through my messenger program (slick), AIM mobile doesn't work and programs like Skyfire and Pandora do not work...seems like they only all time out. Also, it seemed everything worked fine on the stock at&t rom. Anyone know if there is some connection settings?
Hey,
I was wondering if there is an application that let's the windows live messenger connected in sleep mode. I tried searching the forums and found something about OZ messenger which had a push function?
Is there a way to get windows live messenger to have a 24/7 connection and push messages?
Thanks in advance.
Hi there,
After have tried various IM clients I would recomend Fring (FREE) and IM+ All-in-one(Non FREE).
On both you can log in simultaneously to Skype. Messenger, Yahoo, etc.
Fring also supports voice calls on skype + VOIP (SIP providers).
IM+ all-in-one does not support voice calls, but has push capabilities (very handy).
Both will keep your presence on 24/7.
I personaly only use Fring.
No HD2 version of fring? Can't find it on the website, isn't there a push addon for the windows live messenger since I like the interface?
Check this out:

Perhaps this is a nice feature, it seems to have push options.
Any Window Live Messenger apps for Android? WinMo has sweet a sweet official one that you can send voice clips, transfer files on and stuff like that.
Most of the 'MSN' 'Windows Live Messenger' apps I see looks like someone crayoned the design. It's that horrible ;o
Any official clients ?
the one i like the best in MSN talk
there is MSN talk free and MSN talk pro
I'll second MSN Talk, best client out there for android. Unless you prefer something that ebuddy that gives you access to AIM and whtnot as well.
