From time to time I see here a thread about "show your today screen". However, I've never saw a thread for "how does your Polaris/Cruise sounds like?". While changing the ringtone is very easy, changing the other notification sounds, like new SMS, E-Mail or alarm sounds is not that common. I, for instance, still use the default sounds because I haven't found any good alternative.
So, what sounds do you use?
Is there a way to customize startup sounds or error sounds? I would like to change the sound of those, but can't seem to figure out how. Anyone help with that?? Its has WinOS 6.1....
You might find those sounds in Sound Manager or in the Sounds and Notifications Settings. If you want custom sounds without installing a third party app just convert the sound to .wav and dump it in your windows folder.
Thats for the regular sounds....I am looking for a way to customize the STARTUP sound like when you turn the phone on and off and the error sounds. I appreciate the help but I am aware of how to change the regular sounds....just not sure if there is a way to change the start and error.
Error notifications can be classified as a ""Events (Warnings, System Events)" under Sounds and Notifications.
If you want Start-Up sounds you have to purchase Wisbar Advance 3.
I got into modding my own sounds and Notifications. However I'm having trouble locating a few. The main one I can't find that I wanna replace with something else. Is the sound made when I touch the screen. I can select Soft or Loud "Click" sound. But I have a sound of a beep I want to hear instead.
Where is this file? whats it called?
BTW, Device is a Sprint TP with WM6.5 23016.
Is there any way to edit the Fuze vibrate? The way it is right now is loud. I know there has to be some changeable settings in the registry I'm just not sure where to look, or a program that can edit it would be nice too.
I have never seen it, I have seen touch response settings for vibrate, maybe someone else has?
