I have a dopod P800. It was from China and shows logo of operator "China Mobile" during startup. But I use it in Bangladesh with my local operators. Problem is, I can't change my PDA's language. it is Chinese by default. I changed the language to English using regional settings, Then restarted. But Nothing happens. The language remains in CHINESE.
IS there any solution. Can you guys help?

go to the section dealing with your specific device. there's a section for upgrading...
you should find ROM Threads there. most rom cooks specify how to flash a new rom.

The Dutch ROM is English but the customizations in the Extended ROM will configure your device to Dutch.

Download a german rom from the ftp. Go to the wiki. There's a link on how to access the ftp. I suggest you read through before doing anything with your device or it could turn into a brick.

I have a problem with a Qtec 9100.
The language of the phone in italian (by that I mean every written output by the OS is in italian - Iconnames, windowtext, etc...). Unfortunately I don't speak that language. I'd like to change the language of the phone to english oder german.
I found some tutorials an your site read them. If I'am not mistaken I have to flash the ROM of my phone in order to change its language. But every link I tried to download programs (like lokiwiz) or ROMs (I tried RUU_Prodigy_1030711_120_10410_Qtek_GER_Ship and others...) seems to be dead...
Can anyone provide me please with that tool (or something similar) and/or a ? ROM?

Hi all
I live in Israel and want my phone to be in English. I am using the Unofficial CM11 ROM on the C2.
My problem is that if I set my phone language to English it sets the culture/region setting automatically to US or UK depending on which version of English I select.
Is there a MOD that installs all of the language/region combinations supported by Android or way that I can manually change the region to Israel without changing the language?

i have few motorola xt1541 – they came from Spain – I’m trying to de-brand them to UK spec. I did flash them with UK firmware – all went fine but default language remains Spanish. Does anyone of you know what parameter determines default language on Motorola Phones(like csc on samsung, cid on htc’s…) and where to look for it, change it?
Any help is welcome
Just change your system language. And flashing software from other versions is dangerous

I think it's based on your career. Since you've inserted Sim card, phone knew your region and helped you to start with a right language

because I am new one, I have to ask you here. maybe there is the answer of what I need.
I have a mobile device Lenowo Z2w, Android version: 4.4.4, Buils Number: VIBEUI_V2.0_1533_3.1._ST_Z2w_CU
the problem is, wverything is in chinese. I am livin in Europa and I what the software at least in english (or in german).
Can you help me, how to change ROM/ how to route, how to instal english version.

Even I don't know chinese language but you can change the language by understanding the symbols
